In conclusion, Beyond Contact may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it has plenty to offer for those who are new to survival games or simply looking for a sci-fi adventure with a distinctive visual twist. If you’re new to survival games or just love the sci-fi aesthetic, it’s definitely worth a shot. But for survival game veterans, it might feel a bit too simple or uninteresting. However, I still encourage others to try Beyond Contact for themselves and see what they think about it. Happy gaming!

Ultimate Sheep Raccoon doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it does put a fun spin on it. When it works, it really works: chaotic courses, driving rivals into madness and genuine “just one more race” vibes. But there are still rough edges: controls that can feel off, traps that lack depth, and a sense that the full creative promise is just beginning. If you’re into chaotic multiplayer fun and you’ve got friends ready to dive in, this is worth giving a shot — especially as the community builds its levels and ideas. But if you’re after a more polished, full of content perfect sequel, you might want to wait until more updates arrive. Or play the original Ultimate Chicken Horse.

Marsupilami: Hoobadventure is a colourful, fun, yet well-trodden platform adventure title. You must leap obstacles, swing through the air, defeat foes, and gather the collectables. Sadly, it doesn't write a new chapter for the genre, but it's enjoyable nonetheless.

Shame Legacy is a stealth horror title that lacks originality. Moreover, the controls aren't great. However, the stage design is wonderful, and the audio is undeniably creepy. If you want a combat-focused affair, then you'll need to look elsewhere. Yet, if you want a slow puzzle title, then this could be right up your street.

This is a very niche game and it is definitely one you’ll enjoy or wont be able to stand. The games humor bodes well most of the time and it was worth replaying to see different dialogue and endings. Class of ’09 feels like a huge satirical piece on romantic simulation games and even stereotypes in general. The price of €12.50 is perhaps a bit much for such a short game with only dialogue. Although, I definitely won’t forget Class of ’09 anytime soon.

Bao Bao's Cozy Laundromat is relaxing, simple, and pleasant to look at. However, the lack of input and the simplicity may put some people of this idle business experience.

Itorah misses the mark in a couple of places, but was crafted so well in terms of its platforming and artwork. It may be a little too easy and straightforward for hardcore platforming fans. However, it’s perfect for anyone looking for a casual adventure in a beautiful world.

This isn’t a game that will appeal to modern gamers. The dated appearance and unusual controls will be a turn-off. However, if you are in your late 30s or older, you’ll enjoy the retro nature of this title. I think the developer has delivered a solid puzzle adventure experience, and The Order of the Snake Scale is an uncomfortable, but enjoyable jaunt.

Our Adventurer Guild is a retro-inspired dungeon crawling simulation experience that is great to play. With guild management, relationships, and plenty of quests on offer, this affordable indie game ticked many boxes.

Alexio is a hardcore platform title that'll make you scream. It uses a one-hit philosophy so death is all but guaranteed. Can you complete the adventure to discover your monobrow, or will the difficulty better you? Kill your enemies, avoid their projectiles, and become a true drake.

Winkeltje: The Little Shop is a fun and simple business simulation title. With a straightforward concept, you'll have the fundamentals mastered immediately. Sadly, repetitive gameplay and clumsy controls hold it back. I still recommend it even if it isn't as in-depth as its peers.

Paw Patrol Rescue Wheels: Championship is a fun and simple child-friendly racing experience. However, it has some flaws when you race in split-screen. Hopefully, these will be patched and the game will flourish as a consequence.

Free Stars: The Ur-Quan Masters is a faithful port of an impressive game for it's time, though it's not the smoothest experience for people playing it for the first time now. If you would like a vast world to explore, with some good writing present, then maybe give it a go to see if you can stand the gameplay.

In summary, Somber is an incredibly short title, but one that successfully delivers an enjoyable experience. The gameplay, which conforms around well-paced platforming action, is both responsive, and surprisingly varied. A similar sentiment spills over onto the narrative, which I found to be rather engaging, though, at times, somewhat clichéd. Musically, the soundtrack is well put together and wholly inoffensive, but doesn’t do anything special to warrant being remembered. However, the same cannot be said about Somber’s artistic prowess, which is smartly woven into the core ideology of the game, and is downright gorgeous to look at. Unfortunately, Somber is currently priced at just under £6 as of writing this. While that isn’t an exuberant amount of money, it feels a little overpriced for how much time you’ll spend with it. As such, I’d recommend waiting until this goes on sale before considering buying a copy of your own.

Undeniably charming, with an interesting and inventive plot, even if the writing is a bit wonky at times. However, it poorly connects its plot and gameplay, leading to horrendous pacing that ends up dragging both sides down.

Motorcycle Mechanic Simulator 2021 has a great variety in the number of motorcycles, and each of these motorcycles has a unique, realistic and detailed arrangement of parts, but the lack of tools and annoying control is the negative part of its gameplay. This game is the only option for those who are looking for a simulator of motorcycle repairs and upgrades, and it is good and suitable.

For the most part, not to include the downfalls, this game could be a quite fun and unique adventure into the deep blue sea. It’s full of creative creatures you can learn about and some that might make you laugh or scare you. The combat using your friend is something original, especially when that friend is a swordfish robot, or whatever you’d like to think of this fish as. It really uses the main thing of teamwork when enjoying this game. I honestly found it quite entertaining, challenging, and remarkable with the display of art at every level as you swim through each section of this maze-like game.

Shinchan: Shiro and the Coal Town is a wild, whimsical ride through a charming Japanese village, filled with Shinchan’s trademark shenanigans. While some tasks might feel a bit mundane, the real joy comes from exploring this quirky world and meeting its eccentric characters. If you’re in the mood for a lighthearted adventure that captures the carefree spirit of childhood, this game is definitely worth checking out.

SUNSOFT is Back Retro Game Selection is a niche product that will not impress everyone. However, if you love old-school gaming and you wish to play never-before released in the West games, then don't miss out. This collection is nicely varied and wonderfully dated. Yet, I'm not sure if it is a few decades too late for this experience.

Despite providing an impressive number of ways to adjust countless character stats, Disgaea 6‘s repetitive story and basic visual design fails to conjure up a personality outside of the menus, and with the 3D action a passenger to the all-consuming and overpowered levelling-up system, it feels like one of the more forgettable entries in the series.

The Smurfs 2 - The Prisoner of the Green Stone is a 3D adventure title that sticks to tried and tested mechanics. What's more, it has plenty of monsters, loads of crystals, and some simple puzzles. As such, it'll entertain you even if it occasionally outstays its welcome.

Finding Frankie is a fun game, but it has obvious shortcomings. It’s a little too easy, fairly short, and there’s not a whole lot of variety in its mechanics or courses. That doesn’t mean that there’s not some good here though. I think for the right price (I am unsure of price. The Xbox store doesn’t have a price listed and I can’t find any info online) you can have a good time with it.

Kejora isn’t loud. It isn’t flashy. And it isn’t trying to impress you with scale. What it does instead is quietly tell a story about change, fear, and the comfort — and danger — of staying the same. I do have to say however that although the game’s visuals are fantastic and story meaningful. Kejora is very short. Also compared to other Indie titles I have covered it’s price tag is unfair for ~3 hours of gameplay with no replay value.
