Batman: Arkham Shadow is an exceptional VR experience. The captivating world and brilliant story sucks you in. Moreover, the VR mechanics are seamless and I lost hours in the grim and dangerous world. The only shortcomings were some minor bugs and glitches. However, this shouldn't put you off.

If you’re like me and typically don’t gravitate toward this genre, this might be a great introduction to it. And if you are already an otome fan, you’ll likely appreciate the blend of fantasy, mystery, and romance that Genso Manège offers.

For fans of the series, Goblin Slayer -Another Adventurer- Nightmare Feast provides an enjoyable tactical RPG that expands on the lore. However, for those looking for a deep and engaging strategy RPG with extensive character development and exploration, this might not be the best choice. Ultimately, whether you’ll enjoy this game depends on your expectations and your appreciation for the Goblin Slayer franchise.

It’s not quite a masterpiece, but hey, it’s certainly a “game” that will take up time in your life that you’ll never get back. Truly, an experience worth… well, nothing much.

Lunacy: Saint Rhodes is a strange horror experience. This supernatural title is tense and will make your heart race. However the strange plot may not be everyone's cup of tea. I liked the setting and eerie creatures. Yet, the lack of clear guidance was frustrating.

NBA2K25 is in a class of its own in terms of sports simulation, presentation and immersion. No other game makes you truly feel you’re a superstar like this series. Great game modes, solid gameplay improvements and breath-taking visuals and animations help seal this version as a vast improvement over last year’s game. Whilst the awful microtransactions continue to infect this beloved franchise like a disease, and goofy voice acting can affect the immersion, there is still more than enough to recommend this to both veterans and newcomers to the franchise.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins has successfully reinvigorated a series that I had previously struggled to connect with. Its focused storytelling, enhanced combat mechanics, and impressive presentation have transformed it into a must-play experience. As someone who had only dabbled in the earlier titles, I found myself thoroughly impressed and eagerly invested in the battles and characters. I would confidently rate this game an 8 out of 10, recognizing it as a triumphant return that appeals to both veterans and newcomers alike.

Rescue: The Beagles is a simple, retro, parallax platformer, centered around animal rights activists Edwin and Nicole rescuing beagles from a terrible plane crash, and a sickening experiment.

A Game About Digging a Hole is a minimalist experience that will not blow you away. However, it is enjoyable in small doses. I liked the straightforward action and the freedom to explore. However, a lack of structural items creates grind. If the developer expands the core idea, this could be something special.

If you’re looking for something more than just a simple, point-grabbing experience, you might want to look elsewhere. But hey, if you’re into ducks, dashes, and collecting points just for the sake of it, then, by all means, have at it.

Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator is a bit of a mixed bag. The gameplay could have been fantastic if it were not for the bugs. Moreover, the repetitive and sluggish action holds it back. If the developer can iron out the issues this could be a thrilling simulation experience. If you adore simulation games and you want to become a paramedic, this will tick those boxes.

Casey Jones and The Junkyard Jam DLC is a great addition to a wonderful game. It utilises every core component while adding a new path to Shredder. You must work alone or with friends as you tackle every enemy and survive. It is tough, harsh, but incredibly fun and rewarding.

A nice world, boss designs and mini-puzzles are drowned by sticky, one-note combat and blunted exploration mechanics.

Smells Like a Mushroom is occasionally funny, but it outstays its welcome pretty quickly. Though I found the dialogue annoying and the gameplay was repetitive, it was fun to experience. The idea of mutant vegetables and deadly mushrooms was unique. However, the execution is a little off. This was a shame as it holds it back.

Sky Oceans: Wings for Hire should have been great. However, poor controls and slow and repetitive gameplay hold it back. It's a shame as the storytelling was fun and I liked the lore.

City Transport Simulator Tram is a bit of a mixed bag. The driving aspect is fun, occasionally challenging, and relaxing. However, a lack of a true business model was a strange approach. Though you can create routes and improve passenger happiness, it lacks depth and doesn't test you. Consequently, you could be left wanting. Yet, if you simply enjoy driving trams, you'll adore this tram driving experience.

In life, time is limited and one can only spend so much time playing a certain game. For that, you must create something worth the time. I am all for testing new ideas but this is not a new idea. This a fake promise followed by a game so lazy, one could create it over the weekend. In conclusion? You’ll probably get more adrenaline from watching an ice cube melt.

Aidan in Danger is a fine indie title in small doses. However, a lack of originality and repetitive mechanics prevent it from excelling. If you want a simple platform game with some enjoyable moments, this will tick those boxes.

Paper Ghost Stories: Third Eye Open is a great horror tale combining the story of a child’s life with her ability to interact with the dead. This unique combination creates an emotional, yet eerie story. Stunning visuals that are unlike any other game make this adventure worth your time. It’s certainly not for everyone with its lack of true gameplay and narrative approach, but there’s a great tale to be discovered if you can see past this.

Fun sniping, big open areas, and enjoyable side content highlights the strengths of the franchise. Wonky AI and a dull, overpowered protagonist hurt things a little in the close-combat though.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead keeps you on your toes throughout. It is creepy, uncomfortable, and just a little challenging. However, it is the silence that is deafening. If you can stay silent, you have every chance of surviving.

Overall, the collection is incredibly accessible, easy to get into, and plays smoothly. There is a near-perfect balance of adventuring, puzzle-solving, and reading. I would highly recommend Ace Attorney Investigations Collection to anyone, whether you have never played Ace Attorney before, or even if you had played the original Investigations back in the day (if you were not a fan at the time, give this title another chance)!

Neo Harbor Rescue Squad offers a unique and entertaining experience by combining fast-paced medical minigames with a humorous and heartfelt narrative. While it has areas that could benefit from refinement, such as the repetitiveness of certain tasks and the absence of full voice acting, the game’s charm and engaging mechanics make it a worthwhile play for fans of medical simulations and visual novels alike.

Flint: Treasure of Oblivion is a game of contrasts. Its captivating narrative, unique art style, and atmospheric music show clear potential. However, the clunky mechanics, steep learning curve, and inconsistent performance hold it back from being a standout title in the tactical RPG genre. While dedicated fans of pirate adventures and tactical games may find enjoyment in its offerings, the game may struggle to appeal to a wider audience without further refinement.

Not for me but If you’re in the market for a game that’ll make you feel claustrophobic, nauseous, and perhaps a little bit disgusted, well, congratulations, you’ve found your match.

The Unexpected Quest fails to reach its potential. This slow time-sink lacks challenge and is often repetitive. Though there were some glimmers of hope, they barely papered over the cracks!

Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders is a special indie experience. This wonderfully challenging game will push you to your limits. However, its beauty and smooth gameplay will make you come back for more. Though I didn't play the online action, I am looking forward to carving the off-piste with my friends.

Farming Simulator 25 is a relaxing but complex simulation experience. If you have played the franchise, you'll feel right at home. However, newbies may feel swamped by the content and lack of hand-holding. Yet, once you get over this hurdle, it is wonderful to play.
