Candleman delivers an highly charismatic and atmospheric adventure with striking visuals and a compelling gameplay, only occasionally hindered by its fixed camera. A surprising puzzle-platfomer that any lover of this genre should play.

A highly entertaining and challenging 2D competitive game, with a simple and frantic gameplay and lots of levels. Too bad for its lack of online multiplayer, but if you've got friends to play with at home you'll find it to be incredibly absorbing.

An intriguing 2D platformer, with a minimalist look but an innovative gameplay mechanic and lots of challenging levels. A sure bet for any lover of skill-based platforming action.

Knee Deep features an interesting noir murder story narrated as a theatrical performance, but with a too low level of interaction only limited to dialogues and a few overly easy mini-games. The absence of foreign (Italian, in this case) localization with very colloquial and slangy dialogues doesn't help, either.

A funny adventure and pinball mix, with a captivating main character and lots of challenges. It lacks on content though, but its price is low enough to recommend it to the more curious gamers.

Despite its radical switch to first person view, Resident Evil 7 biohazard represents a real comeback to the series' origins, with a disturbing and scary atmosphere, great story and characters and a thrilling gameplay mixing exploration, puzzle solving and combat. An awesome new beginning for Capcom's franchise.

A very clever puzzle-platformer, with an unique visual style and highly challenging puzzles. It just lacks on the narrative/philosophical side, but it's definitely recommended to lovers of cerebral challenges.

Toby: The Secret Mine offers a pleasing visual style, but with a quite uninspired and soulless gameplay and with a game design too based on trial and error.

A pleasant surprise, mixing an original and entertaining "ballistic" mechanic with well known strategy games elements. Implementing cross-play with PC users has been a great idea too, enabling us to find more people to confront with.

Rise & Shine offers a great visual look with lots of cameos and references to the video gaming world, all coupled with a good and challenging action-platform gameplay. The good action phases get hampered by more repetitive and long puzzle moments or by some frustrating trial and error sequences, though. But when it manages to really shine, it can be a great action game.

This new adventure re-uses the same well known gameplay seen in every Telltale game, while adding an interesting new point of view to TWD universe with the introduction of the new main character, Jarvis. All in all these first two episodes represent a good start in an interesting storyline: if you liked the previous games, you won't be disappointed.

Even if taking advantage of a solid gameplay and a very satisfying open world structure, Final Fantasy XV suffers from a too patchy design, with an underwhelming second half and an uneven storytelling. It lacks balance and an unified vision, but all in all it's an entertaining game and a first step in the right direction for the franchise.

Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection reminds us of how good, in terms of plot, environments beauty and overall charisma, were the Ezio Auditore episodes of the series. It does this without adding anything new or fixing the original games problems, though, so it's only suggested if you're willing to turn a blind eye on some pretty bad character models and animations and stiff gameplay mechanics, especially in the first two games of the collection.

One of the most unique and nonsensical games we tried so far, asking us to manually manage every single body function - from moving his legs to breathing - of the poor Samuel. This mechanic goes often over the top though, making us confront with highly frustrating scenarios.
