Risen 3: Titan Lords fails to reach its full potential: it's got a compelling and interesting story, which clashes with a bad technical production and a too muddled and unsatisfying combat system.- MondoXbox

Narco Terror manages to bring us back to the Rambo arcade game with a good longevity and technical production, but its repetitive nature and the shoddy story and main character keep it from really shining.- MondoXbox

This comeback of the three GTA classics feels superficial and poorly optimized, although some improvements are clearly visible. It's not the remaster we were hoping for, but these are still immortal classics that can still entertain and sometimes even amaze. And sometimes that's all we need.- MondoXbox

If Eat Lead developers wanted to revive some of 80's gaming cliches, they succeeded: but this brought with it some heavy shortcomings, like great linearity, no environment interaction, and a very repetitive soundtrack. Nevertheless, the game is still enjoyable, mainly due to some very crazy moments. We suggest to give it a chance just for trying, but only when you'll be able to find it at a budget price.- MondoXbox

Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is the worthy conclusion, narrative-wise, of the SAO Gamerverse, with continuous twists and turns and the presence of many memorable characters. Unfortunately, on a gameplay level the many mechanics introduced are of little use, and even on a technical level it doesn't impress, also presenting several quality-of-life flaws. It is in all respects a title to be played solely for the plot, dedicated to those who enjoyed the previous chapters.- MondoXbox

We appreciate Square's willingness to keep the original spirit of the games unchanged, but they should have done more to make the last-gen games more pleasant to see on modern consoles. The result is too rough and probably advisable only to the stealth genre's super-fans.- MondoXbox

The Sojourn offers some complex and interesting first-person puzzles, but it all happens in a too repetitive world and without offering enough rewards for the player, with a very skinny plot. It's still a decent puzzle game, but it fails to be something really memorable.- MondoXbox

A very good story and great music are the main upsides in an otherwise weak game both from the technical and gameplay standpoints. If you're great fantasy stories lovers, you could be willing to give it a shot: for every one else there are better games out there.- MondoXbox

The card-based combat system is a nice novelty, but everything is oversimplified and the setting and characters feel too clichéd and uninspired. A good base idea, but not developed enough.- MondoXbox

Invincible VS brings Robert Kirkman's world into a video game and brings attention back to the 3vs3 fighting game genre. Battles are frantic, extremely violent, and make good use of tag mechanics with accessible controls. Unfortunately, balancing issues and a severe lack of single-player content with a disappointingly short Story mode, hold the game back. It is a recommended purchase only for hardcore fans of the series or genre.- MondoXbox

An interesting title and with good potential, but it drowns in defects we can't ignore, like the badly balanced difficulty and a bad ui in the menus. You could however consider it if you're looking for a more serious Kinect sports game.- MondoXbox

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris tries to experiment with too many different mechanics without making them too compelling, and that's hampered by a lackluster technical production. It's anyway got a good basis, and SAO fans will definitely appreciate its depiction of the anime's universe and the huge levels of fan service present.- MondoXbox

Minoria offers a pleasant anime design and some spectacular combat animations, but it disappoints as a metroidvania game, with a too simplistic design, unsatisfying progression system and a troublesome difficult balancing.- MondoXbox

Blair Witch has got some good premises, but stumbles with a banalized plot and an overall boring and not so scary experience. Bloober Team's hand is still noticeable, but the game could maybe have benefited from a longer development time.- MondoXbox

AC Liberation HD lacks the production values the series used us to, and even if it's a Live Arcade release it results in a weak experience, with a badly narrated story and the complete omission of the multiplayer component, present in the original version. Ubisoft did a good HD porting job, but it's hardly an unmissable game.- MondoXbox

SD Gundam Battle Alliance is dedicated to the ultra-enthusiasts of the brand, with a fun and varied gameplay; the same, however, cannot be said of the mission structure and farming, which make the game heavy on repetitiveness. A limited technical compartment and terrible camera handling, finally, hold back its potential a bit too much.- MondoXbox

CyberConnect2's new game feels like a missed opportunity, with a lazily built Naruto story mode and identical gameplay to the past games. Boruto's story mode and the huge roster of characters help it to partly recover, but it's too little, especially for a game that is supposed to celebrate 20 years of Naruto history.- MondoXbox

Sonic Free Riders feels like a rushed game: it's got a great potential and looks like one of the deepest games in the Kinect launch line-up, but all is compromised bye e very imprecise Kinect support, not on par with other games seen so far. Too bad the developers didn't have more time to improve this only, but essential, aspect.- MondoXbox

Dynasty Warriors 9 brings an overdue and very welcome change to the series, introducing a massive open world with lots of missions to do, an impressive characters roster and effective gameplay improvements. It's a real pity that much of this gets offset by a very lackluster technical production and some bad design choices. It's definitely the first step in the right direction for the series, but it needs much more perfecting.- MondoXbox

Legendary Eleven brings us back to soccer's golden years, with some of the most famous national teams of the past. KungFu Kickball would have all the makings of a great party game, but it lacks in depth and variety. Moreover, the overly simplistic single player component and the almost non-existent online community relegate it to the role of a game that can only be played among friends.- MondoXbox
