Ghost Games delivers the best NFS of this generation, with thrilling night chases (even if our cars end up being frustratingly too damageable) and lots of contents and variety both during the daylight and night races.- MondoXbox

The shift mechanic proved to be unexpectedly good providing lots of destructive fun on the streets of San Francisco, even in the dedicated multiplayer modes. Too bad for a forgettable story: the very good CGI cut-scenes deserved a better canvas to be painted on. It's however a solid and entertaining game, a very good starting point for Ubisoft to build upon.- MondoXbox

Fully Illustrated's brawler sports awesome visuals and tons of violence, with deep and fun gameplay. The campaign falls a bit on the short side, but with local co-op and an Arcade mode, there's no lack of reasons to replay it.- MondoXbox

Little Nightmares II improves on the first game's formula in every way: better narrative, more varied puzzles and gameplay, better design overall. It still suffers from the experience only lasting a handful of hours, but it's definitely a worthy one.- MondoXbox

Bud Spencer & Terence Hill: Slaps And Beans 2 is a solid, fun and rewarding title as well as a true love letter to the two cult actors. If you're looking for a side-scrolling fighting game that will entertain you with pleasure, this one might just have all the credentials to win you over.- MondoXbox

MXGP2 manages to recreate a very authentic motocross experience thanks to a great driving system and lots of contents. It's not the graphically prettiest racer around, but if you love motocross you won't be disappointed.- MondoXbox

A good and satisfying racing game, with an unusual depth level for a non-AAA racing game. Despite some minor flaws, it shines thanks to its rich customization, many game modes and a great cars and tires physics simulation.- MondoXbox

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is a much-needed remake in the Yakuza series, offering the fans a boatload of new content and streamlining some of the most controversial sections of the original game. With the addition of richer visuals and the excellent Dark Ties expansions, and despite some overly aggressive cuts and mandatory pace-breaking side activities, the final result is definitely a game that the series' fans shouldn't miss.- MondoXbox

Borderlands 3 brings back the overwhelming funniness and simple but addictive gameplay the series is known for, even if Gearbox played it safe taking little risks in innovating the game, thus making it feel a little bit older.- MondoXbox

Syndicate shines for its great visuals, the intriguing world they depict and the brilliant co-op mode, while we would have liked a better developed story and more freedom during the missions. The augmented interface is sometimes confusing too, with too much information on screen and often too tiny and difficult fonts. It looks like a missed opportunity: it could have been a real gem instead of a simply good FPS.- MondoXbox

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty stakes everything on its combat system, a fascinating setting, and excellent game structure. However, the game remains hampered by an underwhelming technical realization and balancing problems. Still, these minor flaws do not prevent it from offering a viable option for all gamers looking for a spectacular action game.- MondoXbox

Apart from being an excellent first-person adventure, Road 96 is an overwhelming experience and an emotional dive into the '90s, with their music and style. As you stand on the side of the road, fantasizing about a better future, you'll wish that journey never ends.- MondoXbox

The Quarry is undoubtedly the best work yet by Supermassive Games, both in terms of gameplay and of plot ramifications and technical department. An enthralling experience that knows how to keep the fans of the genre happy, even if it suffers from a not so bold plot (especially on the horror side) and the temporary absence of an online multiplayer component. Yet, it's a title that every fan should consider for their collection.- MondoXbox

A solid FPS which manages to combine its classic roots with some modern elements, offering us good action variety and some outstanding characters. It could have done better with a deeper plot and some climatic exploration sections, but it won't disappoint once you put the first, boring, couple of hours behind you.- MondoXbox

Andromeda looks like a double-sided production. On the bright side we find some gorgeous environments, satisfying combat and a convincing discovery feeling, while on the darker one there's an un polished game with several bugs, dull and uninspired characters and a problematic multiplayer. Still a good game, but not Mass Effect-good.- MondoXbox

WRC 9 pushes forward KT Racing's series with a deeper and satisfying managerial aspect, a great car feeling and top-notch audio. It only gets dragged down by not too satisfying graphics and lack of meaningful visual damage, aspects we hope will be improved in the future.- MondoXbox

Fable: The Journey loses many of the elements that made the main series famous, things like PNG interaction, moral choices and freedom, but it makes a very good and pleasing Kinect game, even with some story revelations that will please the series fans.- MondoXbox

Dead or Alive 6 presents a very satisfying and varied Story Mode, a good and more technical combat system even if with some highs and downs. Where it mostly disappoint, though, is in its online multiplayer, too simple and with several net-code problems.- MondoXbox

DJ Hero revealed to be very entertaining even for people usually not into the DJ and hip-hop scene: we've got a long tracklist full of little gems, with a well projected and solid controller. The downsides are the too few playing modes and some weird freezes when in the songs selection menus. However it's a good start, upon which the developers will be able to build a successful franchise: if you're tired of your plastic guitars and batteries, this will give you a breath of fresh air.- MondoXbox

Little Orpheus is a truly enjoyable and well-packaged adventure, with a great storyline, a sparkling script and a setting capable of capturing the player's attention from start to finish. The extremely linear gameplay doesn't mesh too well with console game standards, but it is undoubtedly a title to behold.- MondoXbox

Mediterranea Inferno offers us a narrative experience with a low interaction level but with an extremely interesting and meaningful story, enriched by an evocative artistic compartment. It is not for everyone due to both its classic visual novel structure and its themes, but if you have the right sensibility for this type of work, you cannot miss this fascinating contemporary novel.- MondoXbox

Layers of Fear is an excellent repackaging of the original games, with a considerable graphical leap, benefitting the atmosphere and the level of immersion. We rediscover, enriched with new content, distressing stories and environments that seem sprung from the mind of a madman, with a gameplay that remains anchored to the narrative adventure mechanics. Even if we don't find major structural improvements, it remains recommended to lovers of the genre.- MondoXbox

The Plucky Squire presents a truly inspired concept and art direction, managing to be loved at first sight. As the game progresses there is a certain monotony in the gameplay, but both budding and seasoned players will not fail to appreciate the colorful design on the one hand, and the sophistication of certain quirks and situations on the other.- MondoXbox

WWE 2K24 continues the franchise's positive streak and packs a title that is sure to satisfy the most avid wrestling fans or even those who have recently become fans of the discipline. The Showcase dedicated to 40 years of WrestleMania, the MyRISE mode and the myriad of content will keep you busy for a long time, with straightforward and fun gameplay, even if it still lacks the technical leap forward we've been waiting for.- MondoXbox
