If The Quarry suffers from some obvious technical problems, especially during the first chapters, they quickly fade away in favor of an engaging plot, credible relationships and logical interactions. Aware of its origins (Until Dawn), it doesn't rest on its laurels and offers a new interactive teen-movie, much less cliché than its predecessor, which will undoubtedly delight fans of the genre. The Quarry is contemplative. Get involved, get interested in what it offers, and it will probably give you back. And remember: what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

The fights are maybe a bit basic and the journey is a bit short, but the replayability it offers allows to extend the experience, and its aesthetics is just great. If you like Kurosawa's cinema, the Edo period and the bushido code, it should definitely delight you.

It should satisfy fans of tactical games with its myriad possible approaches to commanding its Grey Knights. Not everything is perfect, there are a few clumsinesses, and it becomes quite repetitive at some point, but it didn't spoil the experience.

With King Arthur: Knight's Tale, the studio NeoCore Games fulfills its contract to offer a tactical turn-based game with demanding combat and RPG-inspired progression. Its exciting setting (a mix of dark fantasy and Arthurian legend) allows for multiple epic, dark and dramatic stories to be told. By omitting its classicism and focusing on its successful battles and notable difficulty.

Count on about 20 to 30 hours for the basic campaign, and 40 to 50 hours on average for the 100%.

What makes a good LEGO game? A good dose of humor, varied levels, brick collecting and flawless local co-op. Obviously, this Skywalker Saga meets all these criteria with flying colors and more. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands remains in the same line as Borderlands and you won't feel too out of place if you have played the previous titles of the license. Especially since old acquaintances are back, but in a medieval environment. If you want to refresh yourself and just have a good time without taking your mind off it, Rune Factory 5 is the game for you, even if the boss fights are not incredible and the game suffers from the technical aspect. Without being catastrophic, the result is unsatisfactory in almost all areas, and we are saddened to see so many good ideas badly exploited, and with wasted potential. The combat system is original but badly balanced. The atmosphere is intriguing and the city has a real verticality, but it is completely flooded with repetitive fights and items to collect. The narration could have saved the whole thing, but it quickly stumbles, and ends after only a few hours without giving any reason to be interested. The direction is equally inconsistent, with significant ups and downs. If instead of investing its limited resources in a failed open world, the studio had focused on the rest, maybe Ghostwire Tokyo would have been a good game.

If you want a game to be fun above all else, then Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin might be for you. Skillfully mixing the gameplay of Nioh with the jobs and worlds of Final Fantasy in settings unworthy of our time, FFO is the very definition of guilty pleasure. A good game, not to be put in all hands.

With its art direction directly taken from Zelda and its enchanting soundtrack, TUNIC knows how to set a delectable atmosphere in a world that never ceases to surprise you. But underneath its sweet airs lies a rather rough game with sometimes tense and effectively tactical fights that unfortunately suffer a little from the hero's lack of punch, at least at the beginning. You'll have to overcome the lack of clear indications that can confuse or even discourage you to enjoy it. But it would be a shame not to get hooked because the title turns out to be unsuspectedly rich.

With Triangle Strategy Artdink fails to dethrone the legends Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together. However, it accomplishes its mission brilliantly, offering an experience very close to its two illustrious models, while bringing some ingredients of its own. With the balance of judgment, Triangle Strategy manages to differentiate itself by relying heavily on persuasion and interesting moral choices, even if it means being far too talkative.

Shadow Warrior 3 is mostly worth playing for its humoristic universe and its inspiration from Doom. Despite a limited content and an almost non-existent scenario, it offers a good moment of relaxation based on energetic confrontations requiring a little concentration. This is sometimes spoiled by a complicated readability of the fights due to a not very well placed camera. Nevertheless, if you're looking for a good fast-paced romp where you don't have to take yourself too seriously, it should be able to satisfy your needs.

Elden Ring manages to take everything that makes Dark Souls games stand out, and then apply it on a much larger scale, in a huge and complex world. The exploration and combat are rich, challenging and satisfying, and there's a constant sense of new things to discover everywhere. But many shortcuts have been taken. The game has some flaws and technical limitations, such as shaky multiplayer and a sometimes frustrating camera. Without being an absolute revolution, Elden Ring offers a unique vision of open world gaming, and it stands as a new model of the genre.

MONARK borrows more from the urban dark fantasy fictions of the 90's/2000's than from a Persona 5. Its rough approach, and especially its outdated realization will put off many of you. On the other hand, the most patient will discover a real good RPG, with a lot of passion inside, and whose interest grows with the time you give it.

Total War: Warhammer 3 is the conclusion of the Warhammer cycle for a saga initiated 22 years ago. Without upsetting the fundamentals, this new Total War is the culmination of the saga with a game that is deeper than ever (with the possibility to play peacefully), very rich in content with eight factions (and as many campaigns) while having a neat and optimized technical part.

Horizon Forbidden West does what you'd expect from any blockbuster sequel worthy of the name: by taking the basics of the original episode and improving them as much as possible, Guerilla Games makes sure to hit the mark. There is still room for improvement for a hypothetical Horizon 3, but this is a solid title that hits hard for the beginning of the year of Playstation Studios productions.

Overall and to be quite honest, Lost Ark is truly an excellent game. Very complete in most aspects, the game from Smilegate RPG doesn't skimp on details and promises many hours of play to those interested in the MMOARPG style. However, it is important to mention that Lost Ark suffers from some serious defects due to its condition as a Korean game: the exploitation of the player's irrepressible need to spend money to compensate for a possible backlog and its affiliation with gambling games, two factors that should be seriously considered, especially by those players who are serious about committing themselves. Nevertheless, aside from these defects, Lost Ark offers Western gamers a new way to approach both the MMORPG and Hack'n'Slash styles. By taking the time and enjoying the game without rushing to get the credit card out as soon as possible, the average gamer should enjoy Lost Ark without too much trouble, and that's probably the most important thing in the end.

Noting Strive was difficult, because it really depends on what you expect from the game. If you're a FGC veteran, or a beginner who plans on investing time for discovering fighting games, Strive is a masterpiece. Beautiful game with rock/metal songs, GGST will give you all the keys to become the best fighter in the world, thanks to his amazing tutorials and rollback netcode. But if you just plan on playing offline, just in the solo mode, you should avoid it, because that is not where Strive shines. And if you just want a fighting game to play with friends at home from time to time, well you can give it a shot because the characters are really cool, and you'll have a lot of fun.

If Sifu is not a perfect copy, it remains a very good game. Demanding but never unfair, don't be fooled by the low number of levels because you'll have to start them several times to master the game perfectly, extending considerably its life span. Sifu remains a difficult game, a kind of beat them up die & retry, even succeed and retry. If you are looking for a game that will resist you, requiring you to master its mechanics, then your expectations will be fulfilled.
