Whether you just want to have a good time with fast and crazy mini-games, or you want to perform by completing it at 100% with the highest scores, Wario Ware Get It Together is undeniably the best opus in the series. While it's a shame to see no touchpad games on Switch, the new opus does offer some good new features and functionality.

F.I.S.T. is a very solid metroidvania, with a neat universe and fights that keep you glued to the pad. Rather difficult and rich enough in content, TiGames' soft only suffers from a few clumsinesses, such as regularly misplaced checkpoints or a few lunar collisions, but nothing that can really spoil the pleasure of playing.

Although rather conventional in content and form, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is definitely the new role-playing game to put in the hands of all fans of the genre. By the richness of its gameplay, with a large number of builds, an alignment system for roleplay, crusade and kingdom management, as well as its dense content. Owlcat's new production is exciting in many ways, and even if it is not completely without flaws, it will keep you busy for a long time.

Finally, although Sonic Colors Ultimate is a very dynamic game and very pleasant to play, it still suffers too much from the flaws of the original game as well as from the various problems specific to Sonic 3D games. In spite of a handling that should certainly be reviewed, the game offers interesting gameplay elements as well as a particularly attractive artistic direction. But this new edition does not offer any real interesting novelties. Moreover, the game suffers from major technical problems on Switch.

With a PC port, we expected a little more from Murder Mystery Machine than a simple transposition of the mobile game to the computer. The interface is the same, none of the people are dubbed and the music track has not been improved (with only a few sounds and three songs). The story, while classic, is nevertheless well done enough to make you want to finish the eight episodes. Murder Mystery Machine is a nice entry point for people who want to discover investigation games.

King's Bounty 2 is an archaic game in many aspects, both in its RPG side and in its exploration. It tries to modernize itself by offering an open world progression, but it has only impoverished its former superb art direction and shown its technical limits. Nevertheless, its fun strategic aspect with a good difficulty and its addictive progression make it a pleasure to return to.

King's Bounty II is a remarkable installment within the genre of tactical RPGs, providing a simple battle system, but at the same time, with many layers of depth for those who want to get the most out of it. Accompanied by a medieval / fantastic setting, which offers extremely beautiful areas, and, even without standing out in its narrative plot, or in its open world, it delivers a lot of potential and, surely, it will be a trough of hours for many users.

The excellent atmosphere and the cinematographic ambitions of Twelve Minutes are not enough to make it an unforgettable experience. Underneath lies a sloppy point & click game, serving a disjointed plot with far from captivating stakes. As for its time loop concept, it induces too many inconsistencies and repetitions in the course of the adventure to be fully satisfying.

In the end, despite some big design mistakes, Recompile remains a very funny title that will offer a wonderful trip in a very colorful universe to its players. The flaws and the too great facility of the title are, without any doubt, compensated by its enchanting atmosphere and its more than pleasant game feeling. Far from being a must-have Metroidvania, Recompile will nevertheless be the kind of title that, although it doesn't offer anything new, will keep a small place in the memory of the players who will have the courage to launch into its adventure.

Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut is without a doubt an improvement on the original title in terms of performance, comfort, but also content. More than ever, it gives an almost cinematic experience in single player, with a successful mix of exploration, infiltration and sword fighting. As for the new island, it won't change the routine of the fights, but it's still a change of scenery and its story is quite interesting. Without revolutionizing its recipe, this makes Ghost of Tsushima an excellent game that we highly recommend for both its single and multiplayer modes.

Humankind offers a fresh formula to the genre by taking the best of Civilization and Endless Legends, before adding its own personal touch. Technically, the game is robust, with nice graphics and music, and above all, it has the advantage of being relatively accessible to new players with its tutorials, its clear and accessible mechanics, as well as a limited micromanagement requirement. It should also appeal to veterans of the genre looking for a more tactical management of conflicts. With a bit of content and some additional polish, it has great potential in the long run.

Unbound's graphics are undeniably one of its strengths, but that's not all the title has to offer. It's a classic and effective platformer and puzzle game that also brings a constantly renewing gameplay based on an effective concept relying on portals allowing to exploit unique and interesting physical properties. With many good ideas to support it, Unbound knows how to be exciting and addictive.

Samurai Warriors 5 is a successful return to the basics of the license after a Dynasty Warriors 9 that had completely disappointed the players. Koei Tecmo offers a game that will not leave fans of the genre unmoved, while proposing interesting new features, a very complete roster of playable characters, a wide range of usable weapons, two very solid game modes and a lifespan that exceeds 100 hours of play. We will forgive its technical inequalities, even if it is time to move to the Next Gen and to offer a game with big ambitions while keeping what makes the essence of Musou games.

If The Forgotten City is based on a mod initially designed for Skyrim, it knows how to detach itself from it to become a work in its own right. It is not an action game, even if it offers some, but a game of reflection and rhetoric. It offers us an interesting story that relies on the exploitation of a time portal and philosophical questions that are not without meaning. Even if the charming graphics sometimes lack depth and suffer from insufficiently detailed textures, the faces are neat and the soundtrack is good.

NEO: The World Ends With You is a good J-RPG mixing a nice graphic style, a dynamic gameplay in combat and an excellent soundtrack. Its story will allow you to immerse yourself in this not so wonderful world that awaits you after your death while learning more about this famous game in Shibuya. Its content is worthy of an A-RPG since it guarantees you a good fifty hours of easy play if you take your time.

Observer: System Redux is a clear improvement of the original game by giving it the graphic engine of the most recent Bloober Team games. The three new investigations deepen the themes of the game and this is good news as the universe of Observer is thought-provoking. The slightly shaky infiltration phases of the original version are still present and the way Bloober Team creates a horrific atmosphere based on jumpscares and aggressive staging is still a bit tiring. Observer has enough trump cards up its sleeve to offer a solid cyberpunk thriller to fans of the genre.

With its graphics and its turn-based gameplay, Cris Tales is very attractive, especially since it is enhanced by an appreciable soundtrack with various tracks. The dubbing in VO is also of good quality, even if it sometimes tends to break the rhythm a bit. It's a pity that the animations are a bit stiff and that the software suffers from some lags during the fights. The latter, although pleasant, are also a bit too easy and frequent, giving a feeling of exaggerated repetitiveness. On the other hand, the title has a good lifespan. The presence of unmarked enemies and the recurrent loading can also be criticized. Nevertheless, even if we would have appreciated a more mature story, it is pleasant to follow and the gameplay playing with time works very well.

Compared to its first version on Wii, Zelda Skyward Sword HD is not a revolution, but it offers good improvements. The title may not convince players who have already completed it, but it has adapted perfectly to the hybrid console. This is an opportunity not to be missed if you want to discover this important opus of the Zelda saga.

Far from being a childish little game, Monster Hunter Stories 2 is an excellent spin-off that skillfully takes the universe and the mechanics of the license before adapting them brilliantly in a very different genre. The story is easy to follow, the art direction is not lacking in charm, and the fights are satisfying. Exploring the world in order to get your hands on all the possible monsters, then tinkering with their genes in order to make a great team is very satisfying, even if there are some clumsinesses in the interface and it can be a bit repetitive. We highly recommend it, both to Monster Hunter fans and to those who are looking for an alternative to Pokémon.

Disgaea 6 Defiance of Destiny is finally here and the wait was worth it because we find ourselves with a good Tactical-RPG full of references and humor. Although the story is not monumental, we will enjoy discovering it in the company of this young zombie and thus learn the secrets of the Ultra-Reincarnation. From a gameplay point of view, if you like tactical-rpg, you won't be too confused and you'll be able to hang on. In case you are not used to the genre, it can be a good entry point in this kind of RPG with its cartoon or even manga/anime style. On the other hand, it is important to know what you are getting into, because Disgaea is a license that will require you to farm for hours, and even if this one facilitates it, Disgaea 6 remains a game where farming is the most important part.

Scarlet Nexus succeeds in hooking you from the very first minutes. A dense universe coupled with an efficient artistic direction and above all a gameplay that borders on the exceptional, make it a title not to be missed during this summer 2021. Kenji Anabuki, director of the title, offers us a refreshing game with a coherent world on all points, despite the weaknesses that can be the secondary activities or the few environments sometimes too empty. The will to immerse the player in a Shonen is palpable and more than pleasant, as the bet is successful. We can only congratulate and encourage this risk-taking which has more than paid off.

Fairly average on many points, Dungeons & Dragons - Dark Alliance is actually quite pleasant to play. The world created by R.A. Salvatore is only used as a base, the graphics could be more detailed, and the RPG side is limited to the characters' statistics, but the title is not without charm and benefits from an efficient soundtrack. The fights are also pleasant even if the targeting can be a bit difficult to handle. It benefits from some good ideas and a good replayability, but also from small recurring flaws. And the cooperative multiplayer is a definite plus, especially between friends. Still, those looking for a real challenge may be disappointed.

Chivalry II is a game that takes a long time to get used to, but once you've got the basics down, it's possible to have a blast and enjoy the unusual moments offered by the game and especially by the community. It remains accessible to the general public, as dueling and jousting virtuosos will blend in with the masses and it will still be possible to fight between peons without screaming with rage. Chivalry II is graphically beautiful, even if some details could have used a little more polishing, but for an arcade fighting game like this, it's more than enough to fully immerse yourself after a few battles.

Game Builder Garage is an excellent gateway to the complex world of video game programming. The customization of the code blocks works perfectly, the increasingly complicated interactive lessons will require you to learn the function of each nodon, and the interface as a whole is a model of clarity. It's a shame, however, that Nintendo's edutainment software doesn't go further by providing more elaborate asset customization, or by pushing the limits of its work plan and settings further.

No big surprise here, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is better on Playstation 5 now that the technical limitations are much less burdensome. While it's not going to compete with a Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart from a technical standpoint, it's better looking, smoother, faster, and the finishing touches have finally been done, even if they probably could have been done long ago. This makes it more than ever a great adventure that deserves to be discovered.

It is undeniable that Insomniac Games is a studio with talented developers and this Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart proves it to us all along. We can regret a slightly light lifespan and a rift system that is more timid than what was announced. Nevertheless, it's hard to deny that the final rendering is breathtaking and that the game wouldn't have the same flavor on PS4, which explains its exclusivity on PS5. This impression of playing a game with a quality worthy of a Pixar Studios animated film (or even better), with so much generosity in its gameplay and content, coupled with the addition of new rich and worked characters, propels the title to the level of must-have games on PlayStation 5 and as one of the pillars of the shooter-platformer genre.

Like its predecessor on 3DS, Miitopia Switch is an original work that will introduce you to RPGs. Filled with humor, its simplistic, non-strategic nature is nicely outweighed by its powerful Mii editor and long lifespan. Although a bit repetitive, this fun adventure will be a breath of fresh air for those who are new to this world. For the rest of us, we have to admit that the differences between the original and the remake are minimal.

Necromunda seems to be a game still in development with a graphical quality that lacks polish and technical aspects that are unfinished. Nevertheless, the FPS has interesting combat mechanics and customization, and players who are not too fussy about the flaws in the scenery, cinematics, cutscenes or the interface will enjoy this game that is meant to be a good, big, fun way to let off steam.

Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground is an interesting and engaging tactical game, it should have in theory a huge lifespan with its 3 factions, its rogue-like campaigns replayable in many ways and its ton of units, equipment, skills and heroes. But in practice, it runs out of steam quite quickly in single player, the fault of an AI as well as a sluggish game pace, maps that lack fantasy and a decreasing difficulty curve. It could have been much more fun with more polish.
