Prototype has great potential, but unfortunately, it does not deliver everything we expected it to. Great fun, lot of possible evolutions and powers, action and a lot of blood; everything well mixed in a game that should have been a little more polished in order to improve its presentation.

Only the on-line modes and the Davis Cup separate it from the previous games of the series. SEGA must think about where they want to take the saga, because the stagnation can start being dangerous.

Virtua Tennis supports the stamp typical of the saga with a dynamic, fast, accessible and entertaining game. Nevertheless, the absence of innovations in his playability turns it into a title with minimal attraction for the user who already knows the saga. Only the on-line modes and the Davis Cup they separate it from the previous games of the series. SEGA must think about where they want to take the saga, because the stagnation can start being dangerous.

VT2009 for Wii makes a new experience in the genre thanks to the Wiimotion Plus add-on. Become one of the best 25 world tennis players with tons of jaggies and poor court details, but with different gameplay choices combining the Wiimote with or without Nunchuck and Wiimotion Plus for all kinds of gamers.

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings offers a new adventure of biblical proportions, carried out by the most famous archaeologist of all time. Unfortunately, the Wii's control systeml is a little untrustworthy as usual. A very nice extra in the form of The Fate of Atlantis, a legendary graphic adventure, becomes the main reason to play the game.

If you're looking to enjoy with a fun game, this is your choice. Harmonix has done a very good job an recreating the feeling of the original Rock Band into this PSP version. We've like 40 songs, with hundreds of different combinations for players to change the way they play.

Tennis. That's what everything's about in Grand Slam Tennis, the latest effort of EA Sports to convince the Nintendo Wii community about its wishes for this new philosophy that they're up to at the moment. And it's a very good way to start a new road, with plenty of gameplay styles, an interesting graphic engine and the use of the Wii MotionPlus. For the first time in the history of this console, we can cross a ball with hammering to remote.

This year's Tiger Woods game is one of the best entries in the series. Fun, easy to play and with a lot of game modes (both online and offline), it has everything you ever wanted in a golf game. It's not so different from last year's game, but it has improved quite a bit.

One of the best Wii Ware games we've tried so far, that's basically everything that we can say about Swords and Soldiers. If you're looking for a funny, strange and interesting Real Time Strategy game, don't think it twice, just go and buy it. If you don't, give it a try, it's a very good game despite not having an online feature. Still, it's worth to play against any friend. You won't regret it.

Volition changed the genre for the third entry in the Red Faction series, but it works. Fun, full of content, good explosions and demolitions, and a huge array of possibilities. Great both online and offline, it's a shame that its plot is so weak and technically it could have fared better.

Sims is not an easy series to develop, the core concept is a very simple one and is too well exploited thanks to the endless expansions. But The Sims 3 has been successful in reinventing itself thanks to the new dimension opened by the presence of an urban environment that your Sims can explore at leisure. Having this open environment, combined with the improved visuals for the Sims themselves and the new personality system, makes this game something different, a fresh start.

Huge as it is, Fuel has many good things to offer. Fun gameplay, incredibly big environments, good visuals and a lot of challenges are on the plus side. But it lacks any depth, and the lack of a career mode makes all the trip a bit illogical. Good game with good ideas, ideal for arcade lovers, but not so much for those who look for a much deeper experience.

The mix just doesn't work. Good ideas that were left on the developing process, complete lack of interest during the main adventure, reuse of textures and environments, bad gameplay... Not even the multiplayer game modes are worth it. A shame, because there was potential to fare much, much better.

InFamous is a superheroes' different history. Cole handles the options and power that the electricity has given him, and with them he can do the good or get squarely into the dark side. With a few excellent controls, many power unlockables and the freedom complete to move and to use them for Empire City, this game is the "sleeper" PS3 game of this year. At least it has demonstrated a quality and an amusement within reach of few games.

Frogwares offers us a great virtual adaptation of what happened in Whitechapel in 1988, with the adventures of Sherlock Holmes. A great story, with amazing puzzles all throughout the adventure.

This crossover has good things, but it should have fared better. Extremely complex, simple and with millions of menus, it's a game just for hardcore JRPG lovers. They will find a charming experience with the beloved characters of other games, but it's not a game for everyone.

UFC 2009 Undisputed offers a great game dynamics, with great visuals, an amazing combat system, and many game modes. A great game, but it's too hard to master and, due to the competition itself, it's a game just for hardcore fans.

Addictive, that's the only way in which a game like Bash Party can be described. The sequel of Boom Blox couldn't be more well-focused on every single way, not only including more gameplay styles, but also but tons of new levels -a sum of 400-, with plenty of bizarre and funny characters that give the game a strange, but fancy look. Give it a shot, you won't regret it.

Fun and with interesting moments, Terminator Salvation is a really short game, just four hours, that lacks depth. Very few types of enemies, not many weapons, repetitive gameplay and not so impressive visually. It could have been much better, but it's far from what the franchise deserved.

Bionic Commando could have been something really big, but it failed to use all of its potential. A fun and interesting game that has a lot to offer, a great action-packed game that does great on both consoles and PC, but it should have fared much better.

A game that can be fun, but overall not so good. Great visuals and an interesting combat system, with some good moments. But its story is not as good as it should be, gameplay is a bit harsh playing with keyboard, and it's so typical that it isn't a fun experience overall.

It's quite incredible when we find out that an original classic is not only remade with an impressive taste, but also that it's one of the best games on the Wii console so far. There's a mixture between graphics, gameplay and funny situations that makes the game almost impossible for anyone to stop playing it. It's a must-have if you like sports, and if you don't, you still have plenty of things to find with this one.

Uwe Boll did it again, but now in videogame form. One of the worst games ever seen on PC, this FPS should have been canned before release: it lacks a story, its gameplay is horrible, and it has no real purpose. Its best feature: that it's a short game, so pain doesn't last long.

Battlestations: Pacific is an improved version of the original Battlestations. This sequel offers two campaigns, better than one, and five multiplayer modes. Conquer the Island, the best one, is a complete experience which can last even more than two hours. However, the mix of two genres, action and strategy, doesn't explore deeply any of them.

The console port of Sacred 2 is a great RPG, with many hours of fun. Gameplay-wise, it changes enough to adapt itself for controllers, and it offers the same depth as in the PC version. Not a game for everyone, but ideal for lovers of the genre.

The little creatures from Patapon are back and well in this sequel that's basically the same game with a few additions that turns the game into a better and more profound experience for those who love music and strategy. We'll enjoy once more a strange but satisfying world at war, in which our only duty is to protect and serve the little and charismatic Patapon warriors.
