2K's still doing its job properly, just as it has to be done. The latest edition of the basketball sim has improved in every aspect of the gameplay mechanics, but it's still suffering some lame player animations. With plenty of gameplay modes -including online, my player, real NBA stats...-, this year's version is one of the best sports videogames that we've played so far.- Meristation

Though it may show some ugly looks compared by of today's standards, when it comes to the highest levels of simulation, physics and playability, Simbin's 'Race On' simply delivers. Some may not like the steepy learning curve but this game is as close to reality as it can be.- Meristation

6 new exercises, 15 extra cool mini-games, multiplayer mode, calorie counter, and many enhancements for only 19.90$. Exercise for everybody improved with the same efficiency and more fun. A great expansion.- Meristation

Fun, large and with many things to do, Risen is a good game for medieval RPG lovers. It has its flaws, specially due to technical issues, but overall it's a great experience, where every choice has its consequences. The great storyline and the different paths that we can follow are the strongest points of this game.- Meristation

Gran Turismo hits shelves at the same time that PSP Go does. At first, anyone would assume that it's one of the most important games for the handheld, but its visuals and the number of cars available are not what we expected. If we take into account the whole series thus far, we don't understand why they decided to don't add the Career mode to the mix, and just four cars racing at the same time doesn't seem enough.- Meristation

Not a very compelling game or even a funny one if you're playing on your own, Obscure for the PSP is basically the same game that we enjoyed a couple months ago but with no Online options and lacking useful gameplay mechanics. Its an interesting game if you're in the mood to play with some Survival Horror, but don't expect anything else besides that.- Meristation

A luck of a game for any music-lover that's willing to find any studio mixer made exclusively for the handheld. Beaterator offers lots of content with the north american producer Timbaland, and hell if he doesn't really suit this role. A must-have if you're interested in this field.- Meristation

Visceral Games have done it again. They promised to make a violent game, with lots of blood, action and a frantic rhythm and that's what they've just done after all. Extraction's the best shooter on rails for the Nintendo console without any second thoughts - if you like the genre, don't hesitate, just go for it. You won't regret it.- Meristation

Arctic Edge is one of the best driving games for the PlayStation Portable, despite not being perfect and not having a so-well-looking graphic engine, that's lacking a more in-depth development of the vehicles that the games presents. Besides this aspect, the newest MotorStorm is a good example of how to adapt an impressive driving game into a handheld experience without losing its credentials.- Meristation

The basics are the same from Ninja Gaiden II, and that's the best of Sigma 2. New features do not work so well: online coop is not that great, new missions are just OK, and new bosses are boring. But overall, it's still a great game, with new and improved visuals that make it even better than before.- Meristation

The undead fights against humans on this Dynasty Warriors clone. Filled with good intentions, Tecmo latest work's should've been something else than just a simple dungeon-crawler with tons of blood on every inch of the PSP screen. Give it a try if you're interested on the genre, but don't expect anything outstanding or out of the pot.- Meristation

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days proves that Square Enix its working hard and very well on the DS. A charming adventure, with a nice story and intense gameplay elements, including multiplayer options for the very first time in the franchise are just same of the features that this great action RPG includes.- Meristation

Telltale Games has done really well with this new chapter of the adventures of Guybrush. This third chapter is great, full of fun moments and intelligent puzzles. Even more, at last we see the comeback of one of the most charming characters of the series, Murray.- Meristation

The expansion of Left 4 Dead is just that, an expansion. This is a new campaign, more than two episodes in the case of PC users, is free. A good initiative to spur even more arousing interest in Left 4 Dead 2.- Meristation

Aion isn't the revolution the genere probably needs, but it is definitely a well-designed MMORPG that is going to be specially enjoyed by all those PVP fans that want a deeper experience while fighting other players. Beautiful graphics, excellent performance and almost no bugs/problems. It definitely deserves a try.- Meristation

More than just a simple beat 'em up, less than a completely original game in which we're going to found something really new. Spyborgs is just one of those games that are just fine, with an impresive graphic engine -and a lame camera- that stands for a very enjoyable multiplayer mode. If you're keen on this genre, it will take out your thirst for a while, and that's basically everything that we ask for when we buy an action-based videogame.- Meristation

They're the Turtles, there's much to expect from their adventures, not to mention their videogames adaptation. This time's Game Arts, the studio behind Super Smash Bros. Brawl, those responsible for the design of Smash Up, a fair adaptation of Brawl's style without losing the particular humour of the Turtles. Lots of gameplay styles and a interesting graphic engine is very much what we're going to find in here. A game that will suit nicely every fans of the original series or fighting-game lover.- Meristation

You, Me & The Cubes is an incredible addictive first-party puzzle that was shown for the first time on London, causing a big impression trough the fans. Now it has proven his quality, dealing with some minor glitches that won't affect the game quality. Being a WiiWare development, it's one of the most interesting puzzle titles that we've tested this year.- Meristation

Majesty 2 looks as interesting as the previous one. A fast and fun game suitable for all users, regardless of their level of experience in RTS, with a fantasy world under the most typical and traditional guidelines in this kind of settings. However, the game is still too repetitive but is still perfect to enjoy the idle moments due to its multiplayer mode. One option that is almost impossible to go wrong.- Meristation

The 3rd Phantom is a new approach to the series on the handheld. A very slow SRPG that tries to please hardcore fans of the Bleach franchise, but it's so simple and so heavy on text that it's not as entertaining as it could have been.- Meristation

At last, SHIFT is the change we were expecting in the NFS franchise, after so many years of tuning. Now we take part in the professional racing world, and we can drive with the best in-car view we have ever seen in a videogame. It also delivers great visuals and gameplay that tempts players to keep on playing over and over again. Brilliant.- Meristation

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 is a great action game, fun to play and quite long. But it feels almost the same as the previous entry; Vicarious Visions didn't feel confident enough to create something new, and they repeated almost every aspect from Raven Software's game.- Meristation

The Beatles: Rock Band surpasses the barrier of musical games, delivering a complete documentary experience with enticing, superb visuals and a well-built-for-fans Story Mode. In addition to that, peripherals are among the finest ever seen in the genre with the exception of the drums, very similar to those seen in Rock Band 2. This game sets a standard regarding what a one-band game should be.- Meristation

Muramasa: The Demon Blade's a piece of art, or art by itself. It's a simple beat 'em up that's set on the early Japanese history, mainly focused on the personal story of two wanderers that're trying to earn a living smashing every enemy that's set on their way. It's one of the most interesting games for this console, lacking an in-depth story, but still a very joyful one.- Meristation
