Gameplay-wise, it's essentially the same game; that is, the best online FPS, an exciting and frantic experience. It offers several game modes, new weapons and balances the perks. Also, the competitive and the cooperative experience in Spec Ops and Survival has been greatly improved. And it has the best campaign yet in a Modern Warfare game. Another headshot from Infinity Ward.

We love Corvo Attano, we adore how Arkane did it. Dishonored is one of the best experiences of stealth coupled with a sense of completely open and free superpower, in a beautiful world that is a masterpiece. Essential.

Mario Kart 8 is probably the best game in the franchise. Great and balanced gameplay, full of options and modes, brilliant online multiplayer and good visuals. It's another must-have for Wii U users.

Super Mario Maker is a powerful creation tool designed to make challenging, incredible and surreal Mario 2D levels. Great Mario tribute and enjoyable games for creators and for those who only want to play.

Like FIFA 14 on PS3 and Xbox 360, this next-gen version take some risks with new improvements and new situations that offer more realism in general. Although the game isn't as fluid as its predecessor in some moments. Incredible in presentation and Licenses. Ignite promises many steps forward.

BioShock 2 is a great game, despite being unable to surpass the original in any aspect. A good second visit to Rapture, that will delight fans of the first one. An engaging story, great visuals and a good gameplay, both on single player and multiplayer.

Tons of content, clever subsystems, brilliant turn-based strategy and emergent gameplay make this a game that shines -while showing little regard for your time, or your feelings (you know, like a real cat).

Once again Ori and the Blind Forest shows us how harmonious and beautiful a videogame can be, but now, with the Definitive Edition, plenty of new content was added, like two new areas and three new difficulty levels. These improvements will give players the opportunity to enjoy this piece of art in the best possible way.

Yoko Taro and Platinum Games form an alliance that elevates the NieR franchise where probably no one expected it to be years ago. Automata is a great action extravaganza with so much love for the games as a medium as we, the players, should have for it.

Rise of The Tomb Raider 20º Anniversary Edition makes its entrance in Sony territory in the most definitive, complete and brilliant way following Lara's Story since we left her escaping from Yamatai. Having all DLC available since the beginning and ignoring some superficial bugs, Crystal Dynamics' new game bring us a perfect experience which everyone will love until the very end. Awesome graphics in 1080p, a very beautiful OST composed by Bobby Tahouri, and new game modes full of puzzles, tombs, secrets and discoveries.

A legendary game comes to life again with this amazing remake of the amazing Super Street Fighter II Turbo. HD Remix is awesome, featuring the great combat system with new HD graphics, and game modes like the long waited Online. If you like videogames, you must have this little gem. Without excuse.

A powerful reminder of the versatility of videogames as a medium, visually and narratively. We "just" need talented developers willing to go for them and companies that sustain and support them.

The Last of Us is one of the best games in recent years, and Left Behind keeps all of its virtues fresh. Riley is a great character and Ellie will be recorded in your heart. The only problem is that it is expensive for this duration of less than three hours.

The virtues of the title, to which they add a great final stretch or certain extra challenges that complement the game as a whole (here some ideas could have been exploited further), end up being much greater than these setbacks.

Rogue Legacy 2 brings a lot of new stuff to the table. This sequel tops pretty much everything that made the first game so good. You'll play it non-stop.

A great adventure game, with humour, logical and illogical puzzles, and a charismatic bunch of characters. The remake is great, and the classic game is still a solid game. At a good price point, it's the ideal game for Monkey Island and point and click adventure lovers.

A faithful and perfect port, a beautiful journey again and anywhere. It sacrificed the multiplayer mode, but it is a delight in the OLED of Vita, very colorful and bright. The best game of the PSVita launch.

NBA 2k17 is more polished and solid than the last entries. They've made good gameplay changes, except in terms of steal mechanics. It's full of online and offline content, stunning visuals and it's deeper than you want.

A quantitative and qualitative jump that will delight fans of the Hack'n Slash genre, with interesting classes, great co-op and a big adventure to experience and replay. Furthermore, it offers a fantastic value for its great price.

What a sequel should be: bigger, more ambitious, but with a solid grasp on what the original was and wanted to be. A true example of how to design a world and an infiltration game.

Horizon Forbidden West is one of the great games this year. The sequel created by Guerrilla Games is more and better than the one we experienced with Aloy in 2017. A must for those who played the original and a great find for those looking to embark on a grand journey alongside an unforgettable heroine.

Grindstone is a brilliant composition of all the elements that should turn a mobile puzzle game into a great video game, in general, capable of captivating all types of audiences. First, by how it comes off the most stifling and uncomfortable practices with the player; second, because its translation to consoles has materialized satisfactorily. Either with touch control or through buttons, Capybara Games rewards risk, adds challenge as we progress and gives personality to each situation, each enemy and each boss. Grindstone is the perfect example of what we tend to call "gamefeel".

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is an idea as good as Magic: The Gathering was. It's very similar to Magic cards and that's great. Although it's very accessible and visual, perfect for new players and experts. Blizzard has returned to work magic.

Nintendo teams up again with MercurySteam to bring us the first unreleased adventure of Samus Aran in side scrolling (remakes aside) since the premiere of Metroid Fusion in 2002. The pressure was not little, but Metroid Dread is up to the task. For the control, which lets us handle the bounty hunter in her most agile and precise version; by the design, which branches and extends to offer hours of exploration without taking us by the hand; and for the selection of bosses, who take advantage of the best combat of the saga in its 2D aspect. The robots E.M.M.I. They may test the patience of some players, but they create situations of genuine tension and development doses them enough. So fans of Metroidvania are in luck: Metroid Dread lives up to the saga that popularized this genre in the first place. Now we only have to ask that we don't have to wait another 19 years for the next one.
