Uncharted 3 is the seal to one of the best franchises of this generation. Packed with intense action scenes, as usual, the script is the most exciting we've seen in the series so far. The superb graphics allow the game to show incredibly recreated locations such as the desert of Arabia. The multiplayer is much improved, becoming a real alternative to the main game. The only problem? Not as good and surprising as the second game, and a slow beginning.

Let's make it clear: Journey was one of the best games of the last generation, period. And now, in PlayStation 4, looks even more beautiful, so even if you played it before, you'll want to check it out again. If not: just enjoy one of the best experiences you'll play on a console.

The end of a fantastic journey, it´s an extremely ambitious game, a real tour de force that shows CD Projekt will continue to shine. Really big, dense, with a nice narrative pace that mixes well with the open world structure. A stunning game.

Awakening is from far the best Fire Emblem experience to be found on a handheld. It's the most beautiful and yet accessible strategic game we've seen lately, and with a bunch of new additions to its gameplay mechanics it's difficult no to fall to its charms.

Endwalker is the best expansion to the Final Fantasy XIV mmorpg so far. Its history is very careful, the playable news to match and the soundtrack is superb. The closing of a plot saga that every player asked for.

As outstading as it can be, Takahashi's latest work is yet his greatest. Xenoblade Chronicles is the best JRPG that we've seen this year, and we could also say in this so-called next-gen.

Rock Band 2 is, basically, everything that the first one had. Which is not good, but great news. But everything that Harmonix has added this time makes the package even better. Improved, more sensitive instruments, the great backwards compatibility and indeed the new online co-op for both Band Tour and Multiplayer modes are the best of the mix. One of the few games which a sequel makes sense.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best possible entry of the most valuable game in the series. The game is solid in each of every aspect, making it one of the most perfect experience we've ever had in an arcade driving game. Portable mode looks awesome as the game is almost perfect.

Team ICO's first two games were able to join the terms art and videogame in one single product. Ueda's studio delivered two astonishing titles thanks to their visuals, shocking the user through the design of the environments or the gigantic colossus. Both of them were able to produce different sensations in the player: love, loneliness, fear... they weren't just fun, but magnificent storytelling experiences. Two masterpieces that are now available in HD and 3D.

Super Street Fighter IV surpasses the level we saw in the original revival during last season. With more characters, more Ultras, new modes, classic bonus stages, remixed OST and a great online on the table, without any doubt, Capcom has created the best fighting game in this generation.

The second expansion to the most played MMORPG ever is here. New weapons, new armors, new abilities and a new class. But is it enough? Wrath of the Lich King is a great game, a great expansion, but do not expect to like it if you didn't enjoy the old World of Warcraft games.

Metroid Prime Trilogy turns out to be one of the greatest choices of Nintendo Wii. Three games in just one package for less than 50€ that grants more than 100h of gameplay, a stunning graphic engine and, what's more important, a literaturesque way to explain the story of Samus Aran, her beginnings and everything else. A must-have no matter what anyone says.

Improved ball physics, especially in distant shots and lob passes. It also has softened the game itself, giving a sense of fluidity and speed that it did not reach before, thanks to a faster response from the players, and the new control 360 that now allows changes to direction and dribbling with only stick address without using combos.

Two years later, Assassin's Creed tries again to make real those promises from Ubisoft, and prove itself as a better game than it was. The truth is that, despite the Renaissance setting, the vivid locations and the historical landmarks, the new features added don't really improve the sequel: the same repetitive mechanics remain, as well as a flawed enemy AI, a rough combat system and moments of frustration coming from issues with the camera and the control response in the platform sections. Assassin's Creed II is still a good game but far from the masterpiece Ubisoft has been promising.

Dragon Quest XI is probably the best game in its franchise, and this S version is the definitive edition for an epic adventure. This entry also has the perfect balance between classic JRPG and modern features.
