Bioshock is a masterpiece and it has not lost its shine. It´s one of the most visually amazing games you can find in PS3, Rapture is still a breathtaking scenario, the combat mechanic is rich and demand the player to be creative and think on a tactical way instead of the usual mindless approach, and overall, is one of the most magnificent games you can add to your collection.

Better late than never, Mass Effects finally comes to PS3 with an excellent port of the second part. While is unfortunate that PS3 only users won't experiment the first entry of the series, this version of the sequel offers a good chance to get into the series. Furthermore, the package is great and full of content, which adds a good value to it.

A masterpiece in audiovisual design, a fantastic action game and another testimony to the craft, the imagination and the ambition of Irrational. However, the campaign is a bit shorter than what was expected and it´s obvious the studio has not reached the full range of their objectives.

Capcom reincarnates the essence of the classic Street Fighter II in this fourth chapter: a tribute to the old school 2D fighting genre embodied with outstanding visuals and online capabilities. Street Fighter IV should be considered a new climax among beat-'em ups: perfect in its execution, solid gameplay, addictive as a masterpiece, and extremely fun. It is only weakened by a few pale scenarios and uncharming tunes, not to mention Capcom's decision to charge for the alternate costumes.

God of War Ragnarök is a clear example of how a sequel to a successful game should be approached: it is not just more and better, but it is also a title that does not shake its pulse when it comes to making weighty decisions (playable and narratives) and get most of them right. We are facing a work that offers more vertical and dynamic combat, with a much more choral development and a perfectly adjusted rhythm of events, which maintains the base that made it great in the past and adds surprises, epics, and exciting moments.

The War on Terror never rests. The same goes for Infinity Ward, who raises the bar again with Modern Warfare 2. Its new campaign keeps delivering a cinematic, inmersive, and visually spectacular experience, while polishing AI and respawn issues, and offering a minimum of 8 hours of gameplay. Without a multiplayer rival, where it's as powerful as a Tactical Nuke, including a first approach to coop, and archiving excellence in every aspect, this last Call of Duty proves itself as a very solid candidate to become the game of the year.

The Last of Us Part II marks a real turning point from a narrative perspective on videogames. The game is arguably better than the previous entry in a mechanical perspective; both its level design, the animations and combat system have been much improved. Ellie is the cornerstone of the story, and we can feel through her the real message that Naughty Dog is telling us during the adventure. Despite its simple puzzles and some overly-long sections, the title shines in every single aspect. TLOU2 is brilliant.

GTA: Chinatown Wars includes everything you know and love about the Grand Theft Auto series. This game demonstrates a mastery of DS form and function, and introduces some interesting elements and ways to explore through the touch screen. Awesome graphics, old-school mechanics… Chinatown Wars is one of the best DS games ever made.

Super Mario 3D World is one of the best Mario games. It's a perfect mix between New Super Mario Bros co-op, 3D Land platforming experience and some of the best skills of other franchise games. This game has one of the most varied and brilliant level design that we remember in any EAD Tokyo development.

Finally, the eagerly awaited sequel to the original bestseller Starcraft is here. While Wings of Liberty will not break the mold in the world of real-time strategy gaming, it surely stands out as the best package to be found in this genre. For the competitors that will try to seize it in the future, Starcraft 2 is - simply put - the new benchmark for years to come.

What more can we say of a game we have been playing and talking about for months? Minecraft is a triumph fueled by imagination and a great community. Sometimes it's frustrating how much it could offer, but that's because it offers a lot already and there is always a hunger for more with such an unlimited approach. With four million of users already, saying "buy it" seems unnecesary, but just in case, do it.

It is by far the best game we've seen on PSVita. As as enhanced edition of Persona 4, 'Golden' works perfectly as both an introduction to new gamers and a demanding adventure for advanced ones. Offering a handful of new additions to the franchise's core, it's a must-have for any Vita owner that's willing to expend more than 100h with a fantastic JRPG.

Following the old motto "if it's not broken, don't fix it", Gears of War 2 evolves upon its predecessor expanding the scope, size, possibilities and much more... this new title simply delivers. Clearly not a huge leap in terms of innovation, yet it is Microsoft's best bet and a sure winning title for this Christmas. GoW 2 is as good as a third person shooter can be today and a new benchmark in the genre. Highly recommended.

Metal Gear Solid V will transcend videogame history as the best episode in the series; packed with tons of contents, a mature and dark tone, memorable characters, villains and final bosses, intense missions and packed with surprises. New instruments, new ways of understading the musical scene of videogames industry. Rock Band 3's so far the best on its genre, with tons of new features, improved graphics and the possibility of learning how to play an instrument for real. It's expensive, but it's worth what it costs.

Outstanding both as part of Supergiant Games' catalogue and for the genre as a whole, Hades proves that Supergiant are masters at melding their style with unique gameplay premises. It also shows they have somehow become masters of the action genre and the result is a supremely crafted masterpiece that stands tall amongst this year's releases.

This remake of Resident Evil 4 is an homage to a classic, very respectful with it (maybe a bit too much respectful). It´s a terrific action game, but we miss some of the braveness Capcom had for the Resident Evil 2 remake.
