Call of Pripyat is a return to the best S.T.A.L.K.E.R, the one which impressed us the first time with its fascinating setting. The Zone is again that scenario that chill us with its mystery and GSC shows they can listen to the fans and that they understand well what made great the series in first place. The only problem is a dangerous feeling of familiarity that goes badly with this kind of game, so we hope to see a deep evolution for the next project of the Ukrainian team, but meanwhile we'll enjoy the most polished entry of the series.

Despite the weak graphics and the lack of Fire Emblem content outside of a few references in the plot and sound effects, Tokyo Mirage Sessions is a solid RPG that shows the expertise of Atlus. Sadly they have focused too much on doing well what they already know how to do and so most of the potential of such a combo as SMT x FE hasn't been fulfilled. But it's very enjoyable and attractive experience regardless. The music deserves an special mention as it includes memorable J-Pop tunes.

The Great Ace Attorney is a must for fans of the series. The challenge was twofold. On the one hand, to build two video games (ten cases in total) with a completely new cast of characters. On the other hand, to justify a historical context when telling a story based on dialectical battles in the courts in the middle of the nineteenth century. And it has succeeded. With a fantastically written story, it presents irregularities in their rhythm and an excess of lines of text at certain moments, though. Both games feel current, fresh and give meaning to their existence as canonical content. They are high-level visual novels, with Shu Takumi showing his best narrative skills at times.
