Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster is an inconsistent work. Graphically, it has some nice effects, but also some ugly elements, the most obvious one is the typography. It is a remake that removes important things from the original game and adopts unnecessary new features. It's not the best version of the game, but it's not the worst either.

Diablo IV remained stuck in the past while trying to find innovation without generating friction with fans who have played the franchise for over two decades; It feels like the ghost of Diablo Immortal continues to haunt the halls of Blizzard. The game is more of a reinvention of the classic experience, focusing on a games-as-a-service format to ensure another decade of content for Diablo.

Yes, it has some great reimagined graphics, and it represents a solid return to the Oddworld universe when it works as it's supposed to. However, New 'n' Tasty lacks some precision in the analog controls, it has almost no replay value and lacks imagination on the cooperative front, so this isn't the perfect remake by no stretch of the imagination, nor it stands close to great representatives of the platform/stealth genre, such as Another World or LIMBO.

Life is Strange: True Colors is an immersive experience that connects the user with its characters and successfully transports the player to the town of Haven Springs. This moving story about emotions, empathy, love and loss is built very solidly on a well written script, very well developed characters, an intriguing story and very moving moments. Unlike DONTNOD's Life is Strange 2 that starts in a forced and sudden way, True Colors takes its time, is patient and shows its nuances little by little, at the right moment to tell its story. Unfortunately, everything that makes Life is Strange: True Colors great is overshadowed by an overwhelming technical deficiency on the Nintendo Switch, something that leaves me with a bittersweet taste. You have to commend Visceral Games for trying something new. Sadly, though, Battlefield Hardline ends up being a lackluster mix of concepts, none of which actually shines with a light of its own. For every single-player or multiplayer idea in Battlefield Hardline, there's a better equivalent somewhere else, including Battlefield 4.

Just Dance 2018 is an update to the popular Ubisoft franchise with more songs as its main attraction. The gameplay has not changed much and although we appreciate add-ons such as Kid and Double Rumble modes, you will not find new mechanics that transform the gameplay we all know.

Somerville takes inspiration from 2 great modern classics, Limbo and Inside, however, it falls short to offer a deep contemplative experience. Despite some technical difficulties, it offers great value as a visually compelling puzzle adventure.

A bittersweet successor to an indie classic. Shakedown: Hawaii is a fun game that pokes fun at capitalism and unethical business practices that, in the end, falls flat.

Payday 2: Crimewave Edition offers solid and entertaining cooperative action. It is best played with like-minded friends that are willing to interact, communicate and orchestrate heists. Sadly though, the progression system demands a heavy time investment in order to unlock weapons, which may be an impediment to some players.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board!" is an interesting proposal for manga and anime fans who enjoy party games. The title features boards inspired by important locations from Demon Slayer and the saga's characteristic humor. Sadly, the minigames catalog is poor, and its battles against demons, while intense and enjoyable, cannot save the lack of variety that condemns it to a repetitive experience.

This specific vision of DOOM is not compatible with PlayStation VR. Mainly due a horrific controls scheme that breaks everything DOOM stood for: a frenetic combat ballet that uses both weapons and movement.

Despite its relaxing gameplay and great Japanese sense of humor, it can be repetitive at times and even disappointing for those who expect something resembling Animal Crossing.

Far Cry expansions were great ways in which developers could try something new and wild. Sadly, New Dawn is not the case. The game feels safe, simple and generic. It's time to let the franchise rest and let some new ideas flow.
