The highly awaited Battlefield 3 gives a twofold impression. There's a single player campaign that looks and sounds great but is extremely linear and scripted and provides no room for thinking outside the box. On the other hand there's a simply fantastic multiplayer mode, that may well be the best multiplayer experience that this year has to offer. If you're interested in multiplayer warfare, then Battlefield 3 is the game for you.- Level7.nu

A turn based soccer game based on dice and constantly collecting new, better players. There's smart tactics under the seemingly random game mechanics. Be prepared to spend many hours getting your dream team together.- Level7.nu

Mortal Kombat X is the best in the series so far. It offers lots of things to do and a game mechanics that are easy to learn but difficult to master. Also the executions are more spectacular then ever before.- Level7.nu

For fans of transforming robots in the world this is a compelling package that will entertain the lone player as well as multiplayer enthusiast. The gameplay mechanics are a well implemented flavor of the Gears of War concept. The plot is solid and interesting and is also backed by a surprisingly competent multiplayer mode. If you like robots and action, buy this game.- Level7.nu

The formula from the previous game is intact in this overly cute followup to Rare's first Viva Pinata game, so you won't find much news to be exited about. But online co-op, 30 new pinatas and a whole slew of other new features is still enough to make this game worthwhile. This is one of the most harmonious and family friendly games out there for the Xbox 360. A definite recommendation for fans of the genre.- Level7.nu

Dreamlike and brilliantly white, until you give the world color. The Unfinished Swan is visually breathtaking and the story it tells, presented as a children's tale, invites to reflection.- Level7.nu

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is a slow yet thrilling adventure set in a small town whose population has disappeared. The player can not do much else than walk and listen, but thanks to the magnificent scenery it is easy to be drawn in to the mystery. Even so, a descent amount of patience is recommended to cope with the slow pace.- Level7.nu

An impressive online mode, a lot of playable characters and a well integrated tag team-mechanic guarantees a lot of thrilling fights. Though it's hard to get into the game if you're not already accustomed to the series.- Level7.nu

This is essentially a mixed bag of experiences. The presentation goes from great to flawed, and there are numerous bugs of various degrees of severity. Most of the weaponry in the game are underwhelming, enemies demonstrate the antithesis of intelligence and the stealth mechanics are flawed to say the lest. Despite these issues we can't deny being engulfed by the thrill and atmosphere of fighting for survival in the subway tunnels below post apocalyptic Moscow.- Level7.nu

Crash Commando offers a lean yet deep gaming experience all at once for up to twelve players online. The controls work brilliantly and the expansive arsenal of weapons is greatly suited for the experience. The different modes available in the game are great, but a few more wouldn't hurt. This is one of the absolutely best downloadable games from the Playstation Store and with some more content the grade would easily have jumped up a notch.- Level7.nu

The sheer amount of content and all the different activities you can partake in makes Yakuza 3 a great value for it's price tag. Despite the massive amount of mini games and activities the diversity doesn't diminish the quality of the overall experience. This game does require a healthy dose of patience though, but for those who commit to this title the reward is a long and entertaining experience.- Level7.nu

Project Cars is not the most authentic racing game in history, but it's a very well made mix between arcade racing and simulation. A slightly inadequate AI and varying quality of the cars hold it back slightly, but Project Cars is still one of the best racing games in recent years.- Level7.nu

In the third part of the Golden Sun saga much is the same. The Djinn system is very entertaining and gives the game that extra something that lifts it above many other turn based RPGs.- Level7.nu

In Crysis Warhead developer Crytek answers a lot of the criticism aimed at the original Crysis. There is more action to be found in Warhead, the pacing is faster and more intense than in it's predecessor. A tighter and more intense storyline also means fever hours of gameplay, but the ones accounted for are great enough to earn this game a high score.- Level7.nu

The decision to hand of an rpg featuring Sonic and pals to experienced developer Bioware was a good decision. Great characters and beautifully crafted environment make up the atmospheric experience and combined with the engaging battle system Sega finally has a new game with Sonic in that's actually any good. The only major flaw here is a somewhat low difficulty level.- Level7.nu

Finally, a game which portrays ninjas the way ninjas should portrayed; as silent stealthy assassins, killing from the shadows. Mark of the Ninja rewards strategic players who plan ahead.- Level7.nu

Better than ever on the pitch with a lot of new controls, better AI and more freedom of movement. But a lot in this year's PES feels forgotten by Konami and some functions are even missing completely.- Level7.nu

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor remixes influences from both the Batman: Arkham and Assassin's Creed-series together with it's own ideas and the result is the best Lord of the Rings game so far. The story may not carry all the way but this is a violent, intelligent and varied action game that rewards creativity and strategy from the player.- Level7.nu

This is about as spectacular, insane and frustrating a racing game can get and still be remarkably entertaining. Despite lacking in depth and not following its own rules at times, Split/Second's variation and the sheer awesomeness it occasionally offers makes this a game for any arcade racing fan.- Level7.nu

Fallout 3 is a great realisation of the Fallout franchise in the third dimension, backed by the great tech that powered Bethesda's prior success Oblivion. But the game's greatest strength is also it's greatest weakness. Although you have a wealth of great content to wade through there is also a great deal of repetitive environments and missions. This being said, these minor flaws aren't enough to dampen what is otherwise a great roleplaying adventure and of the best games of 2008.- Level7.nu

Taking the simple and aged concept of Punch Out and updating it for a modern day console is no obvious feat, but Next Level Games has definitely pulled it off with grandeur. The boxing is fun, the roster of fighters is both charming and well assembled and the different modes offered does give this title some bang for it's buck. Although there are some flaws to be found they are nowhere near enough to deter gamers from punching their way through what's definitely one of the most entertaining experiences you'll find on the Wii.- Level7.nu

The great success that was NHL 09 prompted EA to stay with the proven formula. What we get with NHL 10 is the same solid foundation of it's predecessor with minor tweaks to everything from gameplay to animations and AI. Passing and board play is now more realistic and when things don't go your way you can choose to let your fists do the talking. Despite some issues with framerate performance and AI intelligence we do feel that EA has taken the NHL franchise yet another step in the right direction.- Level7.nu

Spore is easily one of the most ambitious games ever made and it's impossible not to be impressed by the finished product. The possible variations in what you can create feel close to endless and the ability to share these creations with other people adds a lot to the package. The five main phases of the game vary in quality, but the final phase that ties the experience together will impress you. Will Wright adds another triple-A title to his collection.- Level7.nu

Motorstorm makes its debut on Playstation Vita and a lot has changed from the earlier console games. Instead of real vehicles you get to drive RC cars in short, fast races. Motorstorm RC fits the portable format perfectly but why is there no multiplayer?!- Level7.nu
