As a launch title for a new console Knack will probably not satisfy anyone. It’s not a total disaster but it’s a bad uninspired game, lacking both variety and interesting game design.

Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark is a movie tie-in that doesn’t have much in common with Michael Bays latest explosion, err I mean movie. Instead it’s a Gears of War styled shooter mainly set on Cybertron. Even though that’s not a bad thing at all, everything is half done at best and especially the graphics and story is downright terrible. Even so, it’s still somewhat entertaining for fans.

As a production this is definitely a slick piece of work. The graphics look good and there is a generally good sense of humour and atmosphere in the game. Unfortunately, the actual boxing mechanics of the game doesn't work well at all. It's not broken per se, it's just simple to the point where you know the game inside and out after only a couple of matches.

NBA Ballers: Chosen one is a game all about super dunks, slick moves and fancy dribbles. Unfortunately Midway has missed out on one essential ingredient necessary in all great sports games: getting the player interested. With bleak graphics and shoddy controls, not even playing with a friend can help this game from being utterly mediocre.

Although this title is playable it won't leave a lasting impression. The plot is incomprehensible and the presentation looks dated. The experience being a short one is actually a good thing in this title which you'd do well to avoid.

Yet another party game for the Wii. You'll get to take part in sports like frisbee golf, cricket, volleyball, soccer and American football. Precious few of these are any fun, and the overall experience lacks the polish you expect from a retail game. Steer clear of this one folks.

The sequel to the best selling Kinect game, Kinect Sports, features six new sports to play. Sadly, the game seems unfinished with unimaginative game play, poor animations and lousy controls.

A horrible action game with lousy control and graphics. A sad end to a series of games that EA has treated embarrasingly bad.

Summer Athletics offers us a number of track and field challenges that in almost every case fails to be interesting, or work especially well for that matter. A lackluster career mode and the absence of online play via Live is just another nail in the coffin for this game. If this game had been released in conjunction with the summer Olympics of 2004 it might have come off as a decent experience. Today it's just another poor attempt of recreating track and field in a videogame.

Another blockbuster movie, another movie tie-in game. Time and time again we’re treated to hastily produced games designed to cash in on a movie that’s attracted attention in the mainstream media. Iron Man is no exception to this rule, and even though there are some qualities to be found here the overall experience is a lackluster one.

This isn't necessarily a bad game per se, but it's simply uninspiring. The content is meager and what's in here doesn't really do it's job particularly well. There are a lot of minigame collections on the Wii that offer you a whole lot better content than this.

Griptonite doesn't seem to understand Maurice Sendak's wonderful book or Spike Jonze's amazing movie. This is just a typical movie license game aimed at kids with parents who doesn't know better.

The sixth movie in the Harry Potter series was a great and entertaining experience - something that can't be said about it's videogame adaptation. The core premise of the game is built around three monotonous minigames that are repeated throughout the game. The one saving grace is that the adventuring and exploring are somewhat interesting and the musical score is great.

Liquid Entertainment has got to have a good explanation to this extremely dull and boring game. A lot of dark clouds, but no sparks.

Battle for the Pacific is a perfect example of how you can produce a modern first person shooter with absolutely no level of innovation at all. Graphics, sound and controls all do their job without impressing but the overall gameplay is utterly mediocre and not worth your time or your money.

Avoid this game. The story is laughable, the characters are stereotypical and the gameplay is repetitive and dull.

This might sell because it's Harry Potter, but the game itself is horrible. The developers tried to make a game more focused on action than before, which probably is the only good thing about this game. It's ugly, full of annoying bugs, has simple and stupid gameplay and the Kinect-support is a joke. Avoid this one.

Air Conflict: Vietnam is a deeply flawed game. There are a few highpoints, but the terrible controls and downright embarrassing graphics makes it hard to enjoy the decent parts. The game lacks polish and feels very rushed, even though it was released on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC a year ago. The soundtrack is great though.

The third Olympic Games with Mario and Sonic is the worst one yet. It offers very few events worth playing and manages to be a party game that doesn’t feel easy to pick up. On top of that you need an entire arsenal of different controllers to even play it.

Old school shooter in the bad sense of the term. Feels old, bad AI, lots of bugs and a control that needed polish.

No, Carmageddon Reincarnation won’t make anyone happy. The game engine is rubbish, the graphics makes the game looks like it’s ten years old (in a bad way) and the physics is a joke. Even the hardcore fans should avoid this.

Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric is a ridiculous game that consists of bad camera work, sloppy controls and a stupefying script. Fortunately, it is possible to suffer through the campaign with a friend, but the fact remains, this game is an insult to all the senses.

This is a collection of mini games where EA has focused on ten celebrities instead of the actual gameplay, and it shows. A total of twelve mini games grow dreary after only one run and not even a gathering of friends is enough make this game passable. Back to the drawing board EA.

An easy to understand but extremely shallow mini game collection for kids.

Take one platforming game released for the previous generation of consoles, add one pinch of Wii controls and mix it all together. What do you get? An old titles with a lackluster control scheme that hasn't evolved one bit. This is a sad example of a developer more interested in quick money than actually creating a good game. Sloppy productions like this simply doesn't deserve your hard earned money.

At a glance this could actually be a really fun game. Everything from graphics to characters look really great and entertaining. The problems turn up in numbers as soon as you try to actually control the game. The controls are utterly broken, making it impossible to actually do anything intentionally with the controls. Flailing about randomly is no recipe for a fun experience.

Clash of the Titans is a repetitive, ugly, bland, boring and poorly narrated hack n' slash game and pales in comparison to God of War 3 and Dante's Inferno. Sure, video games generally make poor movies, but it may well be possible that blockbusters make even worse video games.

A virtual dodgeball tournament with pirates, ninjas, zombies and robots is just as dull as it sounds. Although the production values are high for an Live Arcade title the actual gameplay is several leagues from being fun in any way. The slow and monotonous gameplay even manages to turn the multiplayer mode into a dull experience. Spend your Microsoft points on something else.
