Interpol is a game that few will return to after the first session. The game's main strength is that it's easy to understand, but when the overall experience is monotonous, short lived and lacking in the challenge department there isn't much to motivate a buy here.

Terminator Salvation is a typical run-of-the-mill action game with no unique or innovative qualities. The game is built on a reasonably solid foundation but the lack of any gameplay innovations makes it a very repetitive game, and when you only get circa five hours of playtime there are few reasons for you to purchase this game. The only redeeming quality in this package is the co-op mode, making the game at least worth renting with a friend. Charging full price for this game is nothing short of a ripoff.

A team based Resident Evil that works alright when playing with other humans. But as a whole it's just not a very good game.

An old series switches focus, and now it's all about killing zombies, which is quite fun. Unfortunately a lot of other elements, including camera, control and environmental layout, are far below average.

A shooting game for the Wii aimed at a younger audience and based on the joy of toy guns does sound like a match made in heaven. Unfortunately this is a prime example of an interesting concept hampered by poor execution. Initially you've got access to a number of mini games, some good, some bad. When you master these you unlock harder versions of these mini games. The gun that ships with the game works well, but the overall experience is too bland an uninspiring to be recommended to anyone.

A top down shooter that reminds us of Rez or Lumines but lacks a lot in content, has irritating 3D effects and is a bit too difficult.

Tangram puzzles controlled by easy to learn touch mechanics. With several hundred puzzles you’ll find plenty to do here, but there is limited variation between the puzzles and solving them becomes tedious in the long run. Neves will however be a worthwhile package when the price tag goes down a notch.

Kinect Sports show us the possibilites of Kinect, but also the flaws of it. You can have some fun with the game if you are a group of people playing, but the game lacks in the necessary precision to make it a good game.

Return to Albion in the most ambitious Kinect game to date. The environment, the design and the voice acting is really good. But once again, Kinect as a controller stands in the way of fun, by being way too imprecise.

As a re-release of a classic arcade game, The Simpsons: Arcade Game is not really bad but there's an obvious lack of content and the game feels rather shallow.

Ryse: Son of Rome is a really good looking game, but at the same time incredible stupid. Thanks to the graphics and the amount of brutal combat the adventure managed to entertain, at least for a bit. If you find Ryse on sale it can be worth a closer look, but for a full price game it’s a disappointment.

2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil isn’t a bad game. It offers a setting that’s perfectly fit for the occasion and includes almost every license that you can expect. But since it’s largely the same game as FIFA 14 the price tag feels a bit to high, especially considering that very few will play after the real world cup is over.

A charming platformer with lots of references to the Disney universe. Gameplay-wise it's badly flawed though. The camera, controls and AI are below acceptable levels.

Chronology is a pleasant platformer with emphasis on puzzle solving. Unfortunately, the puzzles are too simple to entertain. The charming graphics and the music are very generic and does not impress at all. All of this combined makes it difficult to remember that it indeed is a competent game.

Spider-man Edge of Time gives you control over two different spider-men, Peter Parker and Miguel O'Hara from Spider-Man 2099. Though the games is not really broken in any aspect, it is extremely uninspired, tedious and bland. Fans of games based on comic books should definitely look elsewhere.

The Lost Valley fails to deliver groundbreaking gameplay for those already familiar with the series. While the terraforming aspect is a fun addition on its own, it should not be at the expense of the defining elements of the series. The life of a farmer is just not compelling this time around.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is an entertaining but flawed experience. Beenox has aced the web swinging, but the controls are unreliable and the camera work is horrific at times. It’s apparent that the game was rushed to be released at the same time as the movie.

Despite some good physics and an interesting online experience, Create isn't very interesting at all. The controls doesn't really work properly, the menus are too complicated and the environments of the game feels downright boring.

With Monopoly for the Xbox 360 you're actually getting a really fun and well thought through experience worthy of the table top version. This very fact makes the absence of an online mode incomprehensible since this is an experience not meant to have by yourself. Because of this omission the table top version still rules supreme.

This is a mood-laden puzzle game that unfortunately does not reach all the way. The atmosphere gets the player into the mysterious world, but small and big problems very often pops up and lowers the experience. Despite this, I still like Master Reboot, to some extent anyway, and it will be exciting to see what Wales Interactive tinker together next.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 mixes elements from popular games without really understanding how the pieces must be assembled. The result is a tedious and sloppy game that most feels like something that the developer Mercury Team wanted to get over with. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 lacks even the ambitious driven from its predecessor. It's not a bad game, but not worth playing.

A half-hearted HD update of a game that had a lot of problems when it was launched ten years ago. Problems that have not become easier to forgive as time have passed. During all scrap hides, however, hides a really fun game, but the only big fans should consider a return to Albion.

Despite several improvements the 20th anniversary edition of the classic adventure feels overall as a dated experience. The higher resolution backgrounds still capture the mystic New Orleans-feeling that defined the original, while for example the facial animations are simply awkward. There are a few goodies for fans of the original and the story still holds up pretty well.
