CyberConnect2 had it all. The storyline is good, the character gallery is impressive and all the powers and animations are just reused from the anime. But when they removed the free city exploration and have too many boring corridors. Without depth Shippuden 2 is just a game for the younger Naturo fans.

With your Mii characters you try to conquer 80 mini games, some of which are really fun. The better you succeed with them the better chance you have of winning the various game modes. What disturbs the overall impression is that everything is a bit too simple. The game is ugly, sounds bad and the game modes are not as funny as the genre colleague Mario Party.

The improvements in Toki Tori 2+ makes it the best version of the sequel to the old platform puzzler. The mechanics are simple yet elegant and the puzzles are cleverly constructed. Unfortunately it is rather easy to get stuck and the player is often left with too little information as to what to do.

Due to a slow start, forced puzzle moments and a crude visual surface Mario & Luigi: Dream Team doesn’t hold up to the predecessors high standards. It is in no way a bad game, but more should be expected from Alpha Dream and Nintendo.

Puzzle Chronicles is a decent game wrapped in a tacky and uninspiring packaging. The puzzle based combat and the accompanying system for upgrading your character works well. Unfortunately the overall design and voice acting is horrendous and there are simply too many minor flaws present here for the game's qualitative sides to really shine through. Stay clear until you can find this title in the bargain bin.

A simple hack n' slash-action title based upon a cool anime comic - a concept that could have led to an equally cool game. Unfortunately the experience is marred after only an hour or so into the game when numerous bugs and other issues related to an overall lack of polish starts to surface. There are some great moments in here though and it's a great shame that the developers didn't use their funds to do some final polish to the game instead of paying Samuel L Jackson to lend his voice to the game.

Mario Party 10 is a fun but very safe installment in the long running Mario Party series. Most of the minigames will entertain, but it is a missed opportunity and plain lazy to not use the Wii U gamepad in a more meaningful way.

Seen as an entry level RTS, Lego Battles is a great game. It teaches the basics of resource management well and it never really becomes to complicated or stressful. This unfortunately also means that it won't peak your interest for long. After a while it will become overly simplified for anyone who's ever played strategy games before.

Aside from a new main prosecutor the additions to the classic Ace Attorney formula are close to non existing. Though lazy in the new features department and a somewhat weaker plot this is still a highly competent addition to the franchise with a rich and interesting character roster. If you're been bitten by the Ace Attorney bug, this is for you. If you're still on the fence, this is not the game to pull you in.

As one of the launch games for Nintendos download service WiiWare, My Life as a King is a great title. In small doses it's a lot of fun, but the formula grows tedious in the long run. Graphics-wise this game looks great, but it suffers from poor performance from time to time. Overall lack of depth reduces the grade for this otherwise great game.

Haze is neither a bad game nor broken or unplayable. On the contrary, there are a lot of competent features to be found in this game. The problem with Haze is that it never stands out, it never delivers anything out of the ordinary. Four player co-op and some decent multiplayer-modes saves Haze from being a mediocre game.

The idea of having the boy and girl only visible in the rain is in of itself a brilliant idea. The same goes for the games theme of childhood with strays of nostalgia. But Rain still suffers from some clumsy moments that pulls focus away from the larger story. It’s a pleasant little game that does a lot of great things, but it never really reaches full potential.

As a shooter, Wolfenstein walks a path familiar to all those who have played shooters for the past couple of years. Everything from presentation to gameplay and plot do their job without really standing out. Wolfenstein isn't a bad game per se, it's actually quite a competent shooter, but one that doesn't really stand out in a genre that's currently filled to the brim with more exiting titles.

A game for children in every sense. It's too easy for experienced gamers, and suffers from imprecise camera and controls. Younger Tintin fans might enjoy it though.

Udraw Studio is a tablet controlled painting game, though it feels more like a coloring book than an actual game. Great for small children, but to simple for adults.

Resident Evil Revelations managed great with its technical limitations and delivered a game more built on atmosphere and tension than on pure action. The story was dull but the adventure still riddled with exciting moments. The 3DS version may still be the better of the two but on console we get both improved graphics and better controls.

The third iteration of this lovable franchise makes it's way to the Wii, but not much has happened since the days on the Gamecube. There are few new features or content to be exited about this time around, but if you liked the previous games this is more of the same.

Remember Me is a competent action game that never really excels. The story is wasted and the platforming is poorly implemented with the rest of the game. Still the combat system is interesting and the framing around memories is at least somewhat original.

APB is an interesting idea executed poorly. An open world action MMO in the same vein as the Crackdown franchise sounds great, but Realtime Worlds fail to make some of the fundamental mechanics entertaining. Though your options for customizing your experience are impressive to say the least it's not enough to make the experience worth your time and money.

World of Warplanes is a fun, arcady game with quick and exciting battles. It should have a bit better presentation and immersion even though the game isn't about that. Its easy action, and hopefully a small taste of something that the developers will add with more functions.

Sid Meiers Pirates for Wii is partially a missed opportunity. The game's a classic on PC, but the Wii version feels a little unessecary, since the new functions for this console doesn't add much to the experience. There's a lot to do in this game and it can get you quite hooked, but it could have been done much better.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix will probably not convince non-fans of the series. It’s the same type of cozy Disney/Square-Enix mix as always but also with the same type of bad controls and unbalanced difficulty level as the original.

MySims Racing is a typical kart racer you've gotten to know and love(?) on Nintendo consoles - oddly shaped characters, colorful environments and boxes filled with weapons is what's offered on the menu. Some portions of the game is better than the genre behemoth Mario Kart but overall this is a lesser game. This is a competent alternative to the Nintendo franchise but if you're still enjoying your Mario Kart sessions there isn't all that much news or innovation to be found here.

It contains a very competent and entertaining fighting mechanic and appealing graphics. But the content is extremely limited with only 20 characters, no career mode, few alternative game modes and the online mode barely works.

The Wonderful 101 bursts with charm, humour and style. It is very easy to care for the characters and their universe. But frequent trouble with the controls breaks the tempo far too often. Something that also racks up the challenge unnecessarily high in an already hard game. But at the same time the battle system is a joy, if hard to master. It’s a very good game with some rough edges that feels very well needed on the Nintendo Wii U.

With Blackguards, German Daedalic offers an adventure in the vein of a dice RPG. Unfortunately also some irritating moments follows from that kind of games, and when pure chance can decide a difficult battle it all feels quite frustrating. But Blackguards is an entertaining game with well-made elements, and definitely deserves a chance to prove itself.

Motocross Madness is arcade racing that doesn’t really have much in common with earlier Motocross games. Still it is a pleasant experience, but some pesky bugs holds it back from true greatness.
