The experiment in the form of the DioField Chronicle didn't go particularly well. It's interesting to explore and see how far the player can go, but the barriers set by the authors are too limiting. As are the terrible controls on PC. [Issue#322]

Destruction is still cool, and in the end I have to give the creators credit for the fact that the much marketing-washed akedo has its moments. Everything else that made a good Battlefield is completely missing, and that chase for record-breaking size or player count is really a poor substitute for well-designed maps, rich content in the form of game modes, and certainly no substitute for the original class system that the gameplay has always relied on in the first place. The content of the missions is extremely repetitive, both in terms of gameplay and use of the same locations (with minor modifications) and even graphical assets. Moreover, the game tries to pretend to be a tactical action game, but in practice one is instead faced with chaotic action, where you lure most of the enemies from the entire level onto you after the first shot. The first installment, despite its unremarkable gameplay, at least tried. It brought the story of a man who just wants to exist, but the whole world is against him. Here, from the start, you're a nutcase in a bathrobe who shoots prisoners and cleans sewers. And sometimes he hallucinates. If there's satire, it's on the level of cops eating donuts. [Issue#319]

It's a never-ending story, a game with too many half-baked ideas, where the story and mood of the series just hold the door to correctness and superficiality without a deeper gameplay experience or at least uniqueness. [Issue#320]

One could say the game concept is as vulnerable as your character. The straightforward gameplay can be refreshing under the right circumstances. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the technical execution, which sets the game back a good twenty years. Outdated graphics, technical bugs, and poor character movement all drag the game down below the level of a quality product. [Issue#320]

Rogue Mage is an enjoyable card game that I was happy to spend a few evenings with. However, it lacks the greater depth and addictiveness of classic rogue-like titles for prolonged play. As a result, this version of the cards isn't bad, but it's unfortunately the weakest of all on offer. [Issue#321]

A totally unnecessary reboot. Not to say the game isn't fun. It is. Again, it's pure escapism that exists just so you can fool around with a bunch of weapons and vehicles and not have to think about it. The problem is that previous installments have done the same thing - and infinitely better. [Issue#322]

The story is shallow, the finale unsatisfying, and aside from about four instances, your choices have absolutely no impact on the story. The constantly escalating music runs on a loop and is rather distracting. The last part of the tetralogy is simply stupid. [Issue#324]

Doesn't matter that the effects and magic look great, or that the art stylization is breathtaking at times, when you're standing on a desolate plain and looking into the fog most of the time, because the creators simply couldn't manage a decent visibility. This is how games were made a decade ago. The only thing I wouldn't be afraid to praise the authors for is the action, which has pace, and the magical abilities bestowed on the protagonist by the magic bracelet. [Issue#325]

The re-released collection of this once-flagship Sega title will probably only excite true retro gamers who want to reminisce about the game without having to buy huge arcade machines. This collection, however, doesn't stand much of a chance of reaching a new audience, in my opinion, as it lacks any extra care in porting to current hardware. [Issue#325]

Wandering through the game's cavernous twists and turns has an ending, of course, and there's a bit of good ol' fun in the misery. The question is, however, why choose it when it got somewhat lost along the way and other and more accomplished cave adventures could be recommended instead. [Issue#326]

The game looks like a mobile game for the little ones, where production chains and military units have been kept to a minimum. Most of the options start and end on a chronic shortage of wood, and food isn't even considered an essential ingredient. [Issue#326]

What the authors lacked to be above average was the courage to stand up with full force for something unexpected. They could have taken inspiration from their colleagues from the French branch of Arkane, who came up with Deathloop. Redfall is an unpleasant reminder that talents and creativity run out with time. As far as gameplay is concerned, the game is definitely without any noticeable bugs, it's very enjoyable to play for a few minutes, but after a very short time you get the feeling that "I've seen this before", "I've been here before" or "I've already defeated this enemy". [Issue#328]

Right from the start of a new game, you get the feeling that something is not right here. The animations are clunky, the voice acting sounds like a high school attempt at a rap song. The unreadable map is then made worse by the crew's constant comments that interrupt your gameplay. Spirit of Liberty is a difficult piece to digest. [Issue#329]

Visually, the game is not out of line with today's standards, and if we don't count bugs and the consequences of poor optimization, there is nothing to complain about with the graphics. The game as a whole suffers mainly from underdevelopment and risk aversion. It offers classic fantasy entertainment, but it doesn't dazzle with anything. [Issue#329]

The actual track building, which should be the meat of the game, is clunky and annoying. Park Beyond has the potential to be a very decent game at the very least, thanks to some great ideas, with a ton of additional content coming in the Season Pass. In its current state, however, it can only be recommended to true amusement park or self-torture enthusiasts. [Issue#329]

The new episode of the Far Cry series really tries a lot to find new ways how to enjoy the game, and at the same time it relies on the unattainable depth that the charismatic Giancarlo Esposito was supposed to give to the game. Instead, players again receive a disparate mishmash that is increasingly moving away from both the original Far Cry idea and the Just Cause sandbox.

12 minutes is a point’n’click thriller playing with a time loop theme with a great premise and introductory setting, but with a lack of interactivity and an unfortunate story. After the enthusiasm from the beginning of the game, when you will enjoy the offered possibilities of the game sandbox, frustration and disappointment will come. Even dabing with brilliant actors is not helping the game. It seems to be recorded in a hurry and without the possibility for the actors to get used to the character.
