SPRay is an uninspired game fails to meet its potential from a publisher that should know better than this.

However, so much of my enjoyment was based on admittedly subjective design choices that I can't give it an unconditional endorsement. As such, this is probably the highest score I will ever give alongside a strong recommendation to rent first.

Had the development team taken another six months and perfected their use of the Unreal 3 engine and the tools at their disposal, this title would be one more of Square Enix's instant classics.

If you're a true hardcore Sonic fan, give the game a rental and enjoy the day stages. Otherwise, don't bother.

Sonic Unleashed has some stellar moments that remind me of better Sonic games from days gone by, but players will have to slog through the repetitive night stages to reach them.

It is hard to tell what the purpose of Judgment was, and how it would further increase the franchise's legacy. Yes, there is one interesting thing, but it is buried underneath a subpar game. It is hard to recommend this one.

Animal Crossing: City Folk is not a bad game, and is in fact a very good game. The only problem is, it's ultimately the same game as before, and to a greater degree than any Mega Man sequel ever was.

Tales of Symphonia 2: Dawn of the New World has a great battle system, voice-acting, and nice new elements like the monster gathering. Unfortunately, the linear story, dull characters, lack of exploration and mediocre graphics hold back the experience.

Resistance 2 is perfect example of epic storytelling at its finest. It innovates the FPS genre with a unique twist on co-op modes and large scale, and its 60 person fragfests breathe excitement into the title. It does fall into some conventional FPS trappings, like linear level design, but you can't fault the game too much because the entire experience from front to cover is so polished, you can practically see your reflection when you look at it.

It would be totally unfair to judge Korg as a game. As a tool, it is surprising powerful and flexible. The limitations will become apparent once you start noodling around with what Korg can and can't do. Gamers who also happen to be musicians will get a lot of use out of the tool and will be in awe of the versatility of the DS.
