Someone must have switched to regular coffee because Guitar Hero 5 is fresh and reinvigorates the series with outstanding presentation value and entertaining modes.

Fans of the Dark Knight must not miss Batman: Arkham Asylum. This game is everything one would want a Batman game to be and I cannot recommend it enough.

Dissida is a unique take on the fighting genre. Its RPG heavy perspective makes for some interesting battles with the obvious benefit of having the most memorable FF characters duke it out in an epic war.

Despite the short-but-sweet nature of the game, it actually delivers more value than a significant portion of full retail-priced Xbox 360 games. Shadow Complex is a game that is incredibly simple and straight-forward in the most intuitive and imaginative way possible.

Wolfenstein is a good shooter. There are some missed opportunities and living too much in the past but don't let that ruin the fun parts of the game which outnumber the bad.

There are parts to like about Speed Zone and it wins some merit badges for the split-screen option. What doesn't go over well is perhaps one of the most crucial parts to a racing game, the ability to control your vehicle.

More than ever before, Madden looks, feels and plays like any given Sunday. If you purchase one football game this decade, this is it.

Madden 10 on the Wii is enough of its own game that it feels like a fresh entry into the Madden franchise. It's like the supplemental reading to a literature course. It isn't a huge concern if you don't cover it but it provides a different perspective on the same subject.

Perhaps Trials HD should be named "Holy crap, I'm doing flips while things are exploding and I can't put down the controller because I'm having so much fun" since Trials HD sounds rather boring compared to what the game actually entails. Trials HD is one of the must haves for your XBLA collection.

Active Life is yet another mini-game compilation on the Wii but a good one. The mat separates it from the rest of the pack and has you do some interesting maneuvers with the floor buttons.

There isn't much left to say about G.I. Joe. G.I. Joe is a dash of good in a landfill of bad. The one caveat is that if you play with a friend, it is possible to have fun but it won't solve any of the flagrant flaw.
