Assassin's Creed 2 is an amazing sequel. It outclasses the original in almost every way, but in doing so only enhanced my appreciation for the original game and the foundation it provided.

This is one of the finest examples of how on-rails shooters can put gamers into the action without having them always in the driver seat.

RIDE is a blend of two worlds: one that tests your patience versus one that feels surprisingly interactive. With some bugs and controller issues RIDE does come across as a bit unfinished, but Robomodo has fearlessly taken on the role of changing the genre and with that comes a learning curve.

While Telltale's latest LEGO venture sets the bar high for co-op-based titles, the recycled material has indeed passed its expiration date.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii is the latest in a long line of grade-A Nintendo side-scrolling platformers. Loads of warm nostalgia mixes with fresh level design to form the most fun you'll have with the Wii this year (and probably well into 2010, too).

While the cumulative experience derived from the campaign may be disappointing, the underlying gameplay is still fun and the set pieces are still exciting, at least the first time you play through them.

It is worth it to give Phantasy Star 0 a shot, and it is just hard to recommend across the board.

The addition of the masterful Spec-Ops modes goes a long way to making up for the uneven campaign though, and the competitive multiplayer is as addictive as expected.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex Edition is what you'd expect to find out of it. It doesn't live up to the HD versions because the severe graphical hit the game takes, but the multiplayer is still a lot of fun to experience and that alone may make the game worth it for you.

WireWay tries very hard to be a great game and I often found myself wanting to give it the benefit of the doubt, but the lingering camera issue hits too close to home.

The game is cute with charming LEGOs but there isn't as much of a game as even Rock Band 2. The family-friendly soundtrack is sure to broaden the appeal of this game but there are better options available if that isn't a primary concern.

There is a lot of combat and, overall, COP is good, it just lacks some of the elements that pull you deeper into the world.

Dragon Age is a cinematic masterpiece that incorporates action at all the right spots to keep you firmly interested and dedicated to saving the world from the Darkspawn. You can't go wrong with Dragon Age.

Band Hero can stand apart with being aimed squarely at the angsty tween crowd.

While on paper, Academy of Champions: Soccer sounds like the perfect title for young gamers, it's not. The imprecise controls, lack of depth and repetitive single-player results in a game that won't adequately entertain children, nevermind the general public.

It is that addicting and, because of it, it is easy to overlook the faults and focus on the satisfyingly simple nature of the game.

As far as arcade racers on the Wii go, Need for Speed: Nitro isn't a bad experience.

If you have any inkling to play this game, you are likely to be caught in its zany madness and love it the more you play it.

The drawings you create make the game's name ring true and brings life to the game that is mostly a story. The levels are over in the blink of an eye and feel like stop gaps for telling the story.

The big takeaway is that DJ Hero reinvents how music games are defined by the innovation brought forward and, in the same stroke, revitalizes the genre with a fresh approach.

Forza Motorsport 3 is the best racing simulation ever made and as close to a flawless game as I've ever played.
