The game fulfills the obvious but unfulfilled potential of its predecessor in grand fashion, with a bigger adventure, a richer universe to explore, more visceral combat, and conversation mechanics that actually make character development a captivating piece of the experience.

Developer Grasshopper Manufacture went above and beyond in creating a game that features some tightly packed pacing and fun, mature gameplay that the Wii doesn't see as often as it should.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom is a solid entry in the Vs Capcom line and certainly worth experiencing for die-hard Capcom fighting fans, but has a few little rough spots that could have benefited from extra effort.

However, if you're looking for a fast little RPG and you don't mind some grid-based combat and you can ignore the chibis, then Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment is just what you're looking for.

All in all, Dark Void falls short of the expectations set forth by largely ignoring what makes itself stand out and muddling with gameplay mechanics that are average. The inclusion of the ground sections makes it feel like Dark Void wasn't confident enough about the jetpack to really drive the gameplay with its use.

Glory of Heracles kicks off with a lot of promise. The intro video gets you pumped, the tutorial gets you ready to explore the deep combat system, and the combat visuals impress right from the start. Unfortunately, once the initial excitement wears off, the game becomes a bit repetitive and boring.

TFD is so much fun to play with others that, at the end of the day, small problems or critiques with design choices won't matter. And, by all means, this is how TFD is meant to be played.

The redeeming features are fun to carry the game so far but, unlike the Olympics, this isn't memorable in the least bit.

Sands of Destruction has all the tools to make it a great JRPG, especially with its complex dungeon mazes, but it unfortunately falls flat due to the simple gameplay and boring characters.

The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces does a lot of things right. Unfortunately, the game also falls a bit short in a few areas, and doesn't even get off the ground in others.

Divinity II aspires to be so much, but unfortunately its shortcomings overshadow what positive points this game has.

The puzzles, sense of exploration, epic battles, and vast arsenal of weapons are all truly sensational. The year may be young, by Darksiders will certainly be one of the best titles to be released in 2010.

Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth is loaded with traditional old style pre-Symphony of the Night gameplay and elements, and while it's not the best that the series has to offer, it's certainly worth the time and ten dollar entry fee if you're a fan of the original action format in which the series began.

Paying $8.00 (800 DSi points) for a badly pixelated and poorly executed game is never a good idea, no matter how great the nostalgia is.

At $9.99, this game is extremely difficult to recommend. While there's a lot of game here with more than 20 levels and local co-op play, what's here just isn't that good. There are better brawlers current and past, and the cultural issues with this one just guarantee that if it's not forgotten entirely, it'll be in someone's Worst Of list.

Echoes has already made its debut on Xbox Live Arcade, but it fits quite well in the PSP Mini library. In fact, it's one of the best PSP Minis available, which may not be saying much due to the scant library filled with sub-par games, but it's definitely a crystal in the rough.
