Soulcalibur: Legends offers some unique ideas and could have been a great step for the Soul Calibur franchise, but as it stands now, the game doesn't feel complete.

This is the hardcore of hardcore RPGs. Some just won't like it and others will totally love it.

Hazard walks the line between poking fun at games and being a game fairly successfully. The problems come from the wide net that the game cast and a few things slipping through the cracks.

Loses the battle against mediocrity hands down. The combat is decent, but there's little else to keep you interested. Ultimately forgettable.

Racquet Sports is a slightly above average game with candy-coated visuals that works when more than one human plays at the same time.

I really enjoyed this game. It wasn't the longest game in the world, took me about 6-9 hours to beat. However I had a great time playing the missions and it reminded me of "Max Payne" a little.

I'm all for games that are well built and don't overstay their welcome but the length of this game is horribly short.

Admittedly, the Wii-mote motion control of your horse's reins is fun and we were surprised at how it held our attention. As far as horse games go, My Horse and Me is a thoroughbred.

Super Hero Squad does a lot of the small things right, sacrificing some larger issues that should have been addressed. It is backwards game design in that regard since mechanics like combat and super powers needed to be adjusted along with fixing the camera trailing the heroes.

It is hard to tell what the purpose of Judgment was, and how it would further increase the franchise's legacy. Yes, there is one interesting thing, but it is buried underneath a subpar game. It is hard to recommend this one.

NLF Tour keeps its feet grounded in believability while taking a more arcade style approach. To boil it down, Tour is a happy medium between Madden and NLF Blitz.

Neighborhood Games doesn't stand out from the crowded field of mini-game compilations. It misses the simple elegance of Wii Sports by a mile and tries to cover it for it by throwing more at you. That "more" isn't better and will only be a fun diversion for a few plays until it sets in that better options are available.

In terms of casual friendly training games, Mega Brain Boost is a good game. The problem is that it lacks the subtle refinements that would have improved the game considerably.

Even if the game wanted to be slightly more interactive than a book, the story is so convoluted that making sense of it takes more effort than playing.

Zathura unfortunately adds to the ever growing list of bad games based on children's films. This is rather sad because I believe given time, a decent budget, and a talented development team, the story of Zathura could make a good game.

Stormrise is caulk full of good ideas that don't amount to much. RTS innovations alone can't save Stormrise because thinking great thoughts doesn't always equate to a good game. Any redeeming factor is marred by sloppy construction and ideas that sound much better on paper.

RIDE is a blend of two worlds: one that tests your patience versus one that feels surprisingly interactive. With some bugs and controller issues RIDE does come across as a bit unfinished, but Robomodo has fearlessly taken on the role of changing the genre and with that comes a learning curve.

Ultimately, Samurai Shodown Sen is a title lacking the polish and depth found in the other brawlers available at this time. Poor controls and odd damage calculations dampen what could have been an entertaining experience, while plain scenery and dated graphics make it a little stale for the eyes.
