Space Oddity is worth a look for the fantastic implementation of motion controls. It is great to see they nailed the core control and gameplay mechanics but it was disappointing to see some basic things such as the visuals and worthless modes fell through the cracks.

An overall unimpressive title from people who should know better, Pokémon XD feels like a quickie cash-grab.

While a Sonic compilation is always welcome, Sega seems to have shoveled the worst Sonic has to offer in with the sure-to-sell Sonic CD.

WKC isn't a bad game. It is a disjointed game. There are so many things included that none of them were able to get the attention they deserved.

In conclusion, Project Sylpheed has its ups and downs but does add up to a good experience with lots of action and strong emphasis on an emotional storyline.

The Simpsons Game is yet another lackluster licensed game. The difference is that this lackluster licensed game has The Simpsons writers and voice cast behind it, meaning that the humor and atmosphere in the game outright nails the source material.

Wild ARMs XF does have some enjoyable parts, but they are severely hurt by gameplay flaws.

You'll quickly discover the game runs out of tricks and you'll grow tired of the drudgery of plowing through missions. Just like any good adrenaline rush, you'll come crashing back down.

While on paper, Academy of Champions: Soccer sounds like the perfect title for young gamers, it's not. The imprecise controls, lack of depth and repetitive single-player results in a game that won't adequately entertain children, nevermind the general public.

The real problem with TNA Impact is the lost potential. Gamers wanted there to be an alternative Smackdown Vs Raw that wasn't in Japanese or 2D. Sadly, they will have to keep waiting for one.

The most disappointing aspect of all for Arc Rise is the fact that this was supposed to be THE RPG to get the Wii out of its RPG-slump. If this is all developers have to offer the Wii, RPG-fans are better off sticking with the other two consoles to get their fixes until the next potential RPG-savior for the Wii comes along.

Paying $8.00 (800 DSi points) for a badly pixelated and poorly executed game is never a good idea, no matter how great the nostalgia is.

Sands of Destruction has all the tools to make it a great JRPG, especially with its complex dungeon mazes, but it unfortunately falls flat due to the simple gameplay and boring characters.

Rushed out for release and filled with problems, Spider-Man 3 is – not unlike its cinematic counterpart – a huge disappointment. It’s not a complete loss, and many gamers, particularly Spider-Man fans, will probably enjoy the game enough to merit the $60 asking price. Those without a huge attachment to the character would be better off spending the money on some trade-paper backs of the comic.

Unfortunately, Red Steel was built on the premise that the controls would bring a new level of immersive gameplay and fun never before seen in the genre. This was never truly delivered and in turn has done more harm to the game then aid.

Confrontation, with version 1.3, is a good SOCOM game. It feels a little light due to being online only and veterans of the series will certainly feel that. The teamwork and immersion of the actual gameplay remains intact and, at the end of the day, is what really matters.

At $9.99, this game is extremely difficult to recommend. While there's a lot of game here with more than 20 levels and local co-op play, what's here just isn't that good. There are better brawlers current and past, and the cultural issues with this one just guarantee that if it's not forgotten entirely, it'll be in someone's Worst Of list.
