NHL 2K10 tries to wear way too many hats for its own good. At most moments it tries to be a party hockey game, and if it stuck to this principle throughout and adopted fast paced, arcade style hockey then it may have had a chance to succeed. But then their attempt at realism rears its nasty head and the horrific, slow and boring gameplay gets in the way of any party you'll try to throw down.- Kombo

As far as arcade racers on the Wii go, Need for Speed: Nitro isn't a bad experience.- Kombo

This isn't fun, this is sloppy. Fights devolve into senseless button and stick mashing, and often lead to a lot of controller throwing moments.- Kombo

It'd make a great rental though. Take it for a test drive and see if the experience sticks for your preferred control method and number of available players.- Kombo

The controls are not perfect, but they do prove that a nearly pixel-perfect “mouse-and-keyboard” configuration can work on the Wii.- Kombo

While there is an intriguing idea at the core of MySims, there are just not enough interesting activities worth repetitive engagement.- Kombo

The problem with Link's Crossbow Training is unusual. It's not that it's a bad game. Instead, it's that there's just not enough to it.- Kombo

Atari Anthology will prove two things to anyone who buys it; that Atari was truly an arcade force to be reckoned with, and that they had terrible problems developing titles for their own console.- Kombo

It's nice seeing these SNK classics being preserved through these compilations, and it's encouraging that they decided to drop a whopping 16 titles into the first volume without resorting to cheap filler titles.- Kombo

Build a label mode seems generally linear, but it is well thought out and features an excellent cast.- Kombo

MySims is an okay game in many respects but there are other, more worthy kart racing titles that have done the same song and dance much better without getting diluted with trying to cultivate friendships in a racing game.- Kombo

Tales of Symphonia 2: Dawn of the New World has a great battle system, voice-acting, and nice new elements like the monster gathering. Unfortunately, the linear story, dull characters, lack of exploration and mediocre graphics hold back the experience.- Kombo

When it all comes together with four friends coordinating attacks against a tremendous boss, Lost Planet 2 can be an absolute joy. Unfortunately, those moments are few and far between given the hurdles one must jump through to reach that point.- Kombo
