Record of Agarest War is the very reason Japanese game development is accused of stagnation, and the sleazy marketing doesn't lend the game any credence. This is not 1998.

The real Mario/Sonic event comes next year with Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In the meantime we have Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, a fun distraction when playing with friends and an exercise in skipping animated clips of characters cheering when playing alone.

Those who enjoy hack-and-slash, giant bosses, heart wrenching stories, endless sheep killing, and games that poke fun of themselves and other games will adore NIER if they can get past the ugly outer layer. If players give it a chance, at the very least a rental, they'll discover how fantastic and funny this game really is.

Yes, Real Heroes is a little rough around the edges but when you are in the thick of gameplay that won't matter as you get pulled into the world of firefighting.

It's innovative in ways that "Tomb Raider" hasn't been for years. Moreover, it's just plain fun.

The game seems unpleasantly short, however ' in less than sixteen hours of play I had cleared six of the game's ten story chapters.

It is fun to tool around with the customization of your kart and interact with some hyperbolic personalities that function as your neighbors but at the end of the day, it feels like the racing aspect took the back seat.

A breath of fresh air in a sea of mediocre movie based games. With more gameplay variety than the average game and just an overall happy feeling, there is a lot to be enjoyed here for both fans of the movie and gamers alike.

What is perhaps most remarkable about Throwback is the intentional lack of effort to updated and broaden the appeal of a franchise that is highly dated in the gameplay department.

Truth be told, there is perhaps a little bit of irony behind TMNT: Smash-Up. Odds are, the less of a TMNT fan one is, the less one knows about the franchise, the more one might enjoy it.

The possession mechanics are ingenious, and I wouldn't be surprised if they're ripped off by some other company in the future. A lot of the puzzles and scenarios [are], in a word, unforgettable.

Zombie Apocalypse is a fun little shooter game with a few flaws, but most of those flaws don't seem too glaring when you bear in mind that it's a $10 Xbox Live Arcade title.

Outlaw Tennis is top-notch in almost every category, but the incremental unlockables sap a hefty amount of the replay value. This game is a winner, but that godawful design decision almost sunk the entire title.
