Seductive atmosphere, impeccable immersion, neat narrative, the supercharged universe of Weird West is as vast as it is generous. For twenty hours in a straight line, the immersive simulation experience provides good sensations and a coherent RPG dimension despite an AI that is still too perfectible.

In the end, Death Stranding Director's Cut does exactly what is expected of it: bringing to PC all the qualities of the PS5 version (which was already an ultimate edition of Hideo Kojima's masterpiece) but with the flexibility specific to its platform. We therefore find support for 2K and 4K resolutions, ultrawide screens, a framerate of up to 240 fps and support for DLSS. Small - and only - difference compared to the PC edition of two years ago: Intel's Xe Super Sampling can now be used. Enough to make this Director's Cut PC an even more versatile title than in the past, which is an excellent point. A choice setting to enjoy Hideo Kojima's masterpiece in the best conditions, with all the additions of this improved version: new tools for deliveries, new activities and missions. An ultimate port for a game that marked its time.

Compared to the first titles released since 2018, MES is more accessible, free, fast and clear in the composition of its game modes in addition to deepening its formula in the Solo career or the circuit editor. On the other hand, Milestone failed to make a leap forward from a graphical point of view, on the behavior of the AI, animations and collisions. Monster Energy Supercross isn't taking full advantage of the latest console generation just yet, and it's still going to take a while to feel a real sense of progression in the series.

Speedy Recovery tackles an emergency mechanic that already existed in Theme Hospital and succeeds in dusting off the system in a very nice way. Alas, it's the integration with the rest of the gameplay that struggles. By only serving to manage an uncontrollable flow of habit, and without penalizing us if we do not make emergencies, Speedy Recovery becomes despite itself an easy mode of Two Point Hospital. While that goal would be entirely laudable, it's probably not the goal of a DLC whose promise is the stressful management of a hospital emergency room. There are still three nice new maps and new diseases to discover, it's always good to take.

Expeditions: Rome touches a bit of everything and, if it does not succeed in making a perfect copy on its conquest and exploration component, it does rather well on its tactical combats and its very pleasant story to follow. If you're not too sensitive to technique and some heaviness in the game's pace, you should have a good time in the heart of the Roman Empire, building your own legend and pursuing your quest for revenge.

With its impeccable artistic direction, ANNO: Mutationem houses an animated universe that is very pleasant to browse for its superb pixel-art in 2.5D and its bluffing depth. Too bad the storyline it houses, though prominent in experience, is so disjointed and hard to follow. The experience makes up for it with a good RPG dimension and its correct combat sequences if not fully sensational.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is initially recommended for Borderlands fans, but should also appeal to heroic-fantasy fans and curious players.

Successful bet for our little pink ball! This transition to 3D is a great success and gives more depth to this Nintendo universe, usually further back than the giants of the firm (Mario, Zelda and other Pokémon). Between well-thought-out novelties and emblematic elements, Kirby has undeniably found the right formula and gives us an excellent surprise. Everything is simple, of course, but it works and it is difficult to let go of the console. So yes, the world is less open than we thought, yes you will find few real challenges there, but we quickly forget that once the game is launched. A little breath of fresh air that feels good and is an excellent gateway into the world of Kirby.

Tango Gameworks' video game proposal will be a milestone. Without ever reaching perfection, Ghostwire Tokyo marks the spirits. The 1:1 scale reconstruction of the Japanese capital, the exploration of a supernatural and urban open world as well as the ethereal combat system alone are worth the detour. Admittedly, the story is sometimes set back and a certain feeling of repetition appears at the end of the course, but these few flaws are compensated for by the very singularity of the work imagined by Shinji Mikami and his teams. Ghostwire Tokyo is indeed that long-awaited memorable trip.

With this third release on PS5 and Xbox Series, Grand Theft Auto V has never looked so good on consoles. 4K resolution, framerate at 60 frames per second, Ray-Tracing... This port effectively uses the technical capacities of next-gen consoles to offer the most pleasant rendering possible, in particular with greatly reduced loading times. Beyond that, GTA V remains what is, namely an incredible open-world filled with activities, but which dates from 2013 and which therefore shows the number of years on certain points such as facial animations. But more than the single-player mode, it's above all GTA Online that stands out as a winner from this arrival on PS5 and Xbox Series with the addition of a tutorial for new players, exclusive content and all the game's graphic and technical improvements. based. A port which is therefore intended for players of the online mode rather than those who finished the adventure of Michael, Franklin and Trevor years ago, for lack of major novelties.

Another very good point that allows you to appreciate in all circumstances the universe of Young Souls, which has been the subject of very special care despite a writing that is ultimately quite perfectible.

More than a very good Zelda-like, Tunic is a great puzzle-adventure game that will delight fans of exploration and secrets. Because the game of Andrew Shouldice and his friends contains a lot. Very much. Starting with those hidden off the beaten path, thanks to beautiful colorful isometric 3D. But especially those hidden in a paper manual directly integrated into the game. A brilliant idea that serves as a map, a history manual as well as a collection of clues, and which is at the heart of the progression. Tunic knows how to regularly surprise the player with things present from the beginning - a passage, a game mechanic - but which are revealed hours later. Without forgetting the demanding and solid action phases, which contain significant moments. Fights that can also be made very simple, thanks to accessibility options. What to focus above all on the secrets of Tunic, which we took a monster foot to solve. Because that's where the real wealth of the game is hidden. A big crush.

If it hasn't drastically changed its gameplay, WWE 2K22 is almost a reboot in its visual rendering and with the incorporation of the My MG mode. The latter is a good surprise, leads us to manage a stable of stars and a schedule of shows without being too complex, a successful bet. Technically, the latest generation of consoles holds its own and avoids the pitfall of WWE 2K20's many bugs, even if some loading times are long. In short, if this last opus could have been deeper in terms of staging, it delights in its lifespan thanks to an XXL roster, realistic in the animations without being polluted by the less vital virtual currency than in NBA 2K. A spectacular and versatile title, like the cover star Rey Mysterio.
