Ministry of Broadcast is a good old-fashioned platformer that deserves to be known. Between the engaging atmosphere and entertaining gameplay phases, it's hard to have a bad time. It is with a smirk that we start Ministry of Broadcast and with questions in our heads that we end this short but intense experience with a worked atmosphere and strong messages. Between mocking humor, sarcasm, morbidity and questioning, but also race, difficulty and puzzle, Ministry of Broadcast has found a perfect balance, with the happy medium as a guideline. But to revolve too much around the just good, the game never excels and imposes itself as a pleasant experience, but without great scope. A game that is worth lingering over, but that lacks a little nothing to become memorable.- Jeuxvideo.com

While the 2021 edition had more than conquered us, the 2022 season of MLB The Show is still a success... but will not bring as much interest. Perfect gateway to baseball games for anyone who loves the sport and knows its rules, the Sony IE title will not make a regular in the saga jump out of his chair, and that's the only big downside: the lack of new game modes. For the rest, the modeling of the greatest bat and ball stars is impeccable, the lifespan striking with a gameplay always accessible to newcomers. But be careful, you still have to know the sport.- Jeuxvideo.com

With this early access, Astral Ascent proves that it has the weapons to carve out a place for itself in the competitive roguelite genre. Thanks to its colorful pixel art graphics, detailed animations and polished soundtrack, the Hibernian Workshop title offers pleasant environments to browse. However, the fights are not left out since the game offers nervous gameplay and many build possibilities that make each run interesting. Despite everything, a few slight flaws overshadow the picture, such as problems with readability or even a lack of logical content for early access. It only remains to wait to see if the new elements added over time will allow the title to appeal to players in the long term. [Early Access Score = 75]- Jeuxvideo.com

After the Fall is not unpleasant, but the whole thing is far too generic and all-purpose to leave its mark on the PlayStation VR toy library.- Jeuxvideo.com

This Switch version of Gal Gun: Double Peace inevitably disappoints with its lack of new features. Six years after the European release of the PlayStation 4 edition, the only argument of this port is based on the integration of the costumes that were offered at the time in DLC. That being said, the creation of Inti Creates remains this wacky, sometimes embarrassing, often funny video-lubric rail shooter, which is sure to appeal to fans of Japanese oddities.- Jeuxvideo.com

Thanks to careful porting, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim on Switch is a great way to (re)discover this Japanese sci-fi nugget, whether in TV mode or on the go. With its amazing proposal halfway between the visual novel and the tactical role-playing game, Vanillaware manages to tell an exciting story through its many branches and its original progression system. Beyond its narration, the game does not forget to stage strategically rich and relaxing battles despite austere graphics, far from the beauty of the hand-drawn visuals of the adventure mode. A title not to be missed therefore for all lovers of Japanese games and SF, both on PS4 and on Nintendo's hybrid console.- Jeuxvideo.com

Andro Dunos 2 does what it is asked to do: restore the arcade pleasure of the old-school shmup while making some concessions to modernity. Very short, but frenetic, difficult, but configurable, varied, the title of PixelHeart will undoubtedly leave on the floor those who are indifferent to the genre, but will undoubtedly delight fans of the franchise as of shoot'em up in general, despite some rather problematic readability issues on Switch.- Jeuxvideo.com

Conan Chop Chop is a friendly rogue lite, which goes beyond the joke by offering a fun universe, lots of weapons to try and above all a fun co-op experience. Rather not recommended for solo play, the title is not without flaws and makes some questionable gameplay choices, but there is still a rather good surprise that has the merit of not taking itself seriously.- Jeuxvideo.com

On paper Beholder 3 had it all. Taking the best of its predecessors, it promised us richer gameplay, even more dilemmas and the return of this very special atmosphere that had once hit the mark. But in practice, things are more complicated. Wanting too much to draw inspiration from its elders, Beholder 3 is struggling to find its own identity. And even if that were the case, the lack of finish is enough to leave many players on the floor. The concept and the atmosphere are certainly interesting, but unfortunately they are not enough to impose this opus as the Great Leader of the Beholders. Note all the same that if you have never got your hands on a Beholder, you can add a good point on this note.- Jeuxvideo.com

Once the adventure is over after eight hours of play, little Quill leaves a big mark in our minds. By integrating new weapons as well as new ways of interacting with both the scenery and the enemies, Moss Book II gains in depth. Although some environments, puzzles and adversaries are redundant, Polyarc's work is a delight. The element of surprise has certainly disappeared, but the intelligence of the design is still there. Long live Book III!- Jeuxvideo.com

If Chrono Cross The Radical Dreamers Edition allows a new audience to discover a cult PS1 game in good conditions, the latter could have been better. On the one hand, this remaster benefits from updated graphics, an improved soundtrack but also new accessibility options and exclusive content that makes it interesting both for neophytes and for those who know already the title. But on the other hand, between the lack of a tutorial, perfectible menu ergonomics, but above all a still unstable framerate, this update could have offered a better rendering. It remains to be seen whether patches will correct some of its problems in the future to make the experience even more pleasant.- Jeuxvideo.com

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is an experience that is both very family-friendly and accessible. Two boxes ticked brilliantly. The game is beautiful, generous, offers great sensations and can easily please all ages despite its few game design flaws. TT Games undoubtedly offers the ultimate LEGO Star Wars experience for all fans of the series as well as an ideal entry for the youngest into galactic adventures.- Jeuxvideo.com

As it stands, Super Dungeon Maker lays a solid foundation that early access will have to flesh out for the title to reveal its potential. Quite limited at the moment, whether in tutorials or elements and sometimes imprecise in its construction mode, the title of Firechick nevertheless has enough functions to create original and slightly complex dungeons, as evidenced by certain creations of the community which was able to push the game to its limits. It only remains for Super Dungeon Maker to remain attentive to the feedback of its followers, as is already the case today and to take advantage of early access to give substance to its ambitions. For the time being, you will certainly have the feeling of having seen everything in about ten hours, but should have enough fun to make the investment worth it. A gigantic medieval sandbox, Crusader Kings III has no equivalent. Insanely deep, the new nugget from Swedish developers Paradox takes strategy and RPG to the top. With the exception of an often errant artificial intelligence and a DLC policy that will not please everyone, this episode benefits from a remarkable interface, insane content and a much more pleasant visual approach. than previously. Each part is a discovery and leads to sometimes unsuspected decisions. And for the first time, the series has a tutorial and many contextual guides that open it up to a much wider audience, including on consoles. Without denying its origins, Crusader Kings III sublimates the franchise and leads us to bow to it. Remarkable.- Jeuxvideo.com

If you are well aware of the nature of the game and what it offers, it is possible to have a good time in the heart of Submerged: Hidden Depths. Thanks to its absolutely delightful universe, its peaceful rhythm and its neat soundtrack, the title of Uppercut Games does not claim to be anything other than what it is: a simple experience of exploration and of contemplation. Despite everything, drowned under a ton of dispensable collectibles and served by an optimization not always perfected, Submerged Hidden Depths certainly does better than its predecessor, but does not completely manage to embark us in its universe.- Jeuxvideo.com

Seductive atmosphere, impeccable immersion, neat narrative, the supercharged universe of Weird West is as vast as it is generous. For twenty hours in a straight line, the immersive simulation experience provides good sensations and a coherent RPG dimension despite an AI that is still too perfectible.- Jeuxvideo.com
