Seductive atmosphere, impeccable immersion, neat narrative, the supercharged universe of Weird West is as vast as it is generous. For twenty hours in a straight line, the immersive simulation experience provides good sensations and a coherent RPG dimension despite an AI that is still too perfectible.- Jeuxvideo.com

Don't be fooled! Masters of Anima is far more technical than it appears. Combat appears like a game of chess. You'll need a solid knowledge of what your units may do in order to place them wisely and win.- Jeuxvideo.com

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was a great game back in June 2017 and nothing has changed since then. Xbox One X and PC both take advantage from their own specificities, making the versions the best ones existing.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Surge 2 improves on every aspects of the previous game. It’s more nervous, more intense, more varied. It’s consolidating on the very solid base of the first The Surge, and does it well.- Jeuxvideo.com

Contra: Operation Galuga finally allows the series to reconnect with its origins to once again become a staple of “run & gun”. Even if its artistic direction spoils part of the experience, we definitely find the original spirit of the franchise. Weapon management has been completely redesigned and the game is now teeming with multiple bonuses and improvements to unlock. The frenzy of Arcade mode playable with 4 players in coop compensates for the lack of readability specific to certain levels as well as the lifespan 100% focused on scoring. And if the feeling of déjà vu is sometimes tenacious, it is it which makes the link with the mythical origins of the saga.- Jeuxvideo.com

Immense in substance and respectable in form. 2K22 is worthy of the new generation of consoles, with gameplay and a career mode that erase the many faults of the past year.- Jeuxvideo.com

With its hilarious tone and a very abordable gameplay, Sushi Striker feels fresh and fun, at any time. More enjoyable when played in short sessions, its only real flaw is how inconvinient is the touchscreen.- Jeuxvideo.com

Teased in the base game through several documents, Alan Wake plays a central role in AWE. Unfortunately, beyond the act of diving back into the world of Bright Falls and the pleasure of reuniting with an old friend, this content highlights a certain looseness of Remedy. Less inventive than The Foundation, too busy sprinkling the fan service adventure from start to finish, to the point of neglecting most other aspects of the game, AWE is proving to be disappointing in many ways.- Jeuxvideo.com

If one could fear that Dying Light 2 is a 1.5 version of its predecessor, this is not the case in fact. By taking up all the ingredients that made the success of the first episode, Dying Light 2 reinforces, refines and fleshes them out to put them at the service of a breathtaking, generous, fun and complete experience that offers moments of bravery.- Jeuxvideo.com

We obviously would have liked a better portage than just a copy / paste from the mobile version but the game still has huge qualities as an heroic fantasy RPG and deserves to be known.- Jeuxvideo.com

It is now impossible to doubt it. With Top Spin 2k25, Hangar 13 and 2K mark the return of the reference in tennis simulation. We would still have appreciated a larger cast of players; a more entertaining career mode or the presence of a commentator. But let's stop dwelling on its setbacks. Top Spin 2k25 hits the nail on the head with mastered gameplay, transposing into the video game all the realism that makes the sport of the little yellow ball so special. It's the return of video game tennis, the real thing, and that's the most important thing.- Jeuxvideo.com

We would have liked all the charm of the African legends of Tales of Kenzera ZAU to also be found in a level design that was both inspired and inventive! Outstripped by a plethora of competitors, the first software from Surgent Studios lacks the depth and precision to establish itself in the domain of the Gods. However, it does not lack assets: with its low price (20 euros), its dynamism and its enchanting universe, this Metroidvania, less labyrinthine than the others, has interesting arguments to help you spend 8 entertaining hours.- Jeuxvideo.com

If we had to sum up Star Wars Outlaws, it would be in two words: immersion and classic. It's simple, we are facing the most immersive Star Wars video game we have ever seen, with a living and credible universe that perfectly recalls the atmosphere of the original trilogy through a multitude of details. On the other hand, its classic but effective gameplay and open world compensate for their lack of originality with varied game sequences and the density of the activities offered. The result is an experience that looks like a good student, which favors substance over form by showing that it perfectly masters its subject through a structure that does not innovate. One thing is certain, is that Star Wars fans will enjoy this adventure made by fans for fans.- Jeuxvideo.com

Subnautica Below Zero does not seem to want to walk in other steps than that of its big brother. By reducing the map or vehicles, Below Zero is more to be seen as a very good expansion of the original game, more scripted version and a little more hostile than the first episode. If Below Zero undoubtedly does better than the competition when it comes to making a scripted survival game, with a universe as enchanting as it is frightening hand-crafted, it would undoubtedly have gained more from the experience of 'origin to fully conquer the veterans of the franchise, who, despite everything, will take undeniable pleasure to go diving again, just like the newcomers, who will have the chance to discover for the first time this atypical and oh so immersive way of approaching the game of survival.- Jeuxvideo.com

A Plague Tale: Requiem is the game of confirmation. That of a sister's faith in her little brother when the world crumbles at the foot of their defeat. Then, that of the great talent of Asobo Studios. Offering richer gameplay without upsetting the formula, this sequel never forgets the essentials in relation to the genre it targets. Amicia's desperate fight is at least as magnificent as the graphics and soundtrack that drive the work. The infiltration mechanics can challenge, and we would have liked a final finishing coat, but none of the defects encountered tarnish our judgment: with Requiem, the Bordeaux studio delivers a great vintage. Dark red as death.- Jeuxvideo.com

Days Gone PC is undoubtedly the ultimate version of the title from Bend Studio. With more detailed textures and lighting effects that gain credibility, Deacon's adventure asserts itself, and becomes a little more realistic and immersive. Two years after its release on PS4, the post-apocalyptic open world is rid of the bugs that hampered its launch, and the adventure is more fluid, with almost instantaneous load times during the transitions between gameplay and cinematic as on PS5. , if you have an SSD.- Jeuxvideo.com

Combined with a concept that is both seductive and risky, the plot of 12 Minutes easily maintains interest even in its elements of resolution. Also if one feels Luis Antonio's imperfections in terms of technique, his learning from the great thrillers of cinema is just as visible. But the title divides between the frustration that can cause redundant loops and the quite captivating atmosphere of the place. If the game is as accessible in its mechanics as thorny in its timed puzzles, the experience will naturally be smoother for those able to progress by limiting loops.- Jeuxvideo.com

Faithful to its predecessor, Beyond a Steel Sky is a success on consoles. Taking advantage of the 4K resolution and fully dubbed dialogues, this version puts the player in an armchair. More stable and comfortable, the adventure turns out to be pleasant thanks to the impactful writing, colorful characters and a city more surprising than ever. The lack of life is however glaring and may hamper those looking for a spectacular setting.- Jeuxvideo.com

In the end, Rise of the Ronin is probably not the Japanese action-adventure game that everyone is waiting for, but it is a solid experience and has more than one trick up its sleeve. The fights are successful (and rely on some pretty crazy richness), the exploration is not very organic but remains enjoyable, and Team Ninja exploits the “Bakumatsu” period well, particularly in its writing… Despite everything, we remain hungry, in particular because of Nioh-like levels which have difficulty making us experience the issues at work! The studio focuses above all on its achievements, even getting tripped up in its quest for balance between requirements and accessibility. Rise of the Ronin remains, however, a good experience.- Jeuxvideo.com
