For those who will have the courage to rub shoulders with it, they will find a generous title in its content and its mechanics which will have enough to occupy them for a good fifty hours of play.

Spectacular and intense, Pistol Whip is a clever mix of action and rhythm and delivers a solid VR experience, despite a certain lack of artistic variety.

Stormland is a very ambitious open world shooter that provides a huge amount of variety and freedom in terms of gameplay. Insomniac Games shoots straight in the heart of VR fans and could also convince the VR sceptics.

Unravel Two offers some good new ideas and has the good taste to be equally playable alone or with a friend. But the magic can’t operate twice and Unravel Two sometimes feels repetitive and predictable.

In short, a very pleasant return for those who had already finished the game at the time. A must for others.

We understand better why it took so long for a new opus. Pikmin 4 is an exemplary sequel and the gaming world would certainly be much better off if all licenses followed its example. While keeping its DNA, the title does not just offer a few anecdotal novelties: it explores new horizons. Something to delight both fans of the license and perhaps tempt a new audience. In any case, trying out the Pikmin formula with this new opus is clearly your best option. Pikmin 4 indeed surpasses the already excellent Pikmin 3, and this for our greatest pleasure. But we wouldn't have said no to a little visual refresh and the return of the coop mode of its predecessor. Two big shadows that come to tarnish an experience yet sublimated on all the rest.

We obviously would have liked a better portage than just a copy / paste from the mobile version but the game still has huge qualities as an heroic fantasy RPG and deserves to be known.

Kingdom Hearts III had a lot to say, a lot to show. It is an incredible journey across many Disney worlds, set up on various gameplay mechanics. But fighting is quickly redundant and its writing loses itself into lazy dialogues.

As a pretext for a trip to the worlds of Disney, it is mesmerizing from start to finish, thanks to an exemplary artistic direction that adapts constantly to the subject. It offers a surprising variety of gameplay and constantly draws the eye, thanks to its dynamic fights. However, the redundancy of the confrontations and its ultra condensed scenario which is lost in uninvited dialogues will sometimes tend to annoy or tire.

With its neat pixel art and millimeter-tuned gameplay, Vagante is a roguelike that manages to stand out thanks to its dark-fantasy vibe and dynamism. Drawing on the best ideas from the competition, it reveals its true personality as one progresses and demonstrates that a small team can bring a fascinating game to life. It doesn't have the outfit of a Hades and would have deserved more biomes to discover, but it's an experience that should delight fans of the genre.

Lost Judgment is the legitimate sequel to Judgment, and does as well as its predecessor on most points. The faithful recreation of Tokyo and Yokohama is an invitation to exploration as the combat retains that franchise-specific intensity and technicality. As for the scenario, the latter literally takes the guts. The high school setting as well as the themes addressed perfectly compensate for the lack of a strong link with the Yakuza saga. Only certain gameplay mechanics that are too interventionist, and the noticeable absence of a new geographical area are to be deplored without this ruining the gaming experience.

With a rich and pleasant gameplay, a really neat artistic direction and a fairly well balanced challenge (a little less at the end of the adventure), Ender Lilies ticks all the boxes of the successful 2D action-RPG. There isn't much more to say, except that if you enjoyed Hollow Knight or Blasphemous, you are going to have a great time with the baby from Live Wire and Adglobe. Especially since the title has its twist, thanks to its mind system, which will allow you to recover new skills on the bosses beaten. Enough to forge your own style of play, within tortuous and increasingly challenging levels. In short, it's varied, inspired, rich with in addition a good lifespan. A very nice adventure.

If FC 24 had shaken up some things a bit along with its name, starting with the gameplay, FC 25 has not taken this path at all. The considerable contribution this year is called Rush, a new way of playing 5 against 5 quite well integrated into all game modes alongside the classic 11-a-side football. Because even if the title integrates FC IQ, a new tactical and positioning system for AI players very interesting in Career and Clubs mode for budding managers, the gameplay hardly changes one iota compared to last season. Haters of the last opus may therefore move on, except for lovers of Kings League and Ligue 1. The latter will be able to rejoice to see many players from the French championship modeled unlike last year. Cocorico!

Biomutant is what we expected from it, no more and no less, namely a generous project, steeped in good intentions, and which, through his atypical vision of Action-RPG, breathes a breath of fresh air into the genre. The studio title Experiment 101 is an ode to the exploration of a colorful post-apo universe, karmic destiny, avatar customization, and martial arts. It is difficult, it is true, to concretize these different aspects and to merge them. The fact remains that this experience, equal to no other, changes, surprises, and throws off to the point of becoming memorable. However, it is necessary to ignore a technical achievement which is clearly behind schedule and a progression that is sometimes too interventionist.

If it is repetitive and not very imaginative in its missions, Marvel Ultimate Alliance: The Black Order can count on its fights, a very successful artistic direction and a three-star cast to seduce the players, be they hardcore fans of the comics or mere MCU amateurs. Simple and effective, it is consumed alone or with friends, without moderation.
