Silent Hill f is first and foremost a bold gamble, a reinvention that ventures into uncharted territory. It creates a persistent strangeness, deeply imbued with Japanese folklore, that is as disconcerting as it is captivating. Its clumsy combat and excessive action weigh down the experience, but its universe, its characters, and its soundscape impose a unique identity, which pushes us to scratch away its layers of mystery until the last minute. Imperfect but striking, Silent Hill f will undoubtedly remain as the episode that dared to redefine fear through the prism of Japanese culture, with flashes of brilliance that we never forget.

With Bayonetta Origins, Platinum Games is stepping out of its comfort zone to offer a more relaxed experience, and it's succeeded. Thanks to its sublime colorful art direction, Cereza's first adventure draws inspiration from storybooks to deliver a visual rendering that retains its charm until the end. Controller in hand, the title takes up elements of Bayonetta 3 by making us control two characters simultaneously for an approach as original as it is confusing at first glance. Finally, it is especially by its well-paced progression that the experience captivates the player, alternating fights and puzzles with great fluidity, even if we tend to see the structure repeating itself at the end of the game. For all these reasons, Bayonetta Origins is a friendly and charming adventure that takes pride of place among the Nintendo Switch exclusives.

Like every other Simogo production, Sayonara Wild Heart is a very special game and not everybody will like it. It’s both video game, music and cinema at the same time.

By sometimes clumsily reconciling a new formula and heritage, Pokémon Legends Arceus misses the mark from time to time. But certainly remains a pleasant and successful title.

Difficult to revolutionize a beast that is already running at full speed. On the tracks traced by its last two successful seasons, Football Manager 2021 is still as intense and complete to be the drug of budding sports directors. Celestial in its construction, more aesthetic in its in-game interface, the title is a bit more exuberant through the addition of interactions. 3D modeling is still the point with Football Manager's big room for improvement, and we hope that Sports Interactive will quickly pass this new milestone to mark its time even more.

Dying Light: The Beast is a worthy successor to Stay Human and the most ambitious installment in the saga. Techland unleashes its bestial side in 2025 by refining the parkour and combat, and attempting to iron out several historical flaws of the franchise. The game's sense of freedom and cathartic brutality make it a perfect outlet for all fans of the genre who will take the time to contemplate a dazzlingly beautiful open world. However, The Beast is far from perfect, and suffers from certain modern ills that would have deserved to be addressed.

By its proposal, Duel Master clearly distinguishes itself from Duel Links, the other free-to-play in the universe of Yu-Gi-Oh!. By focusing solely on the playing card game, the title offers a very complete experience with official rules and a huge collection of cards on all media thanks to cross-platform.

Two years after the release of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, the "Among the Ashes" expansion successfully meets its challenge: to revitalize Ubisoft's video game in the best possible way, while simultaneously complementing the film's release with a parallel storyline that is meaningful and entertaining, even if it doesn't quite transcend expectations. Far from completely reinventing the wheel or transforming the experience from A to Z, the improvements and adjustments that Massive Entertainment has implemented are enough to make the gameplay vibrant and enjoyable. Beneath the ashes of the Mangkwans, a fire still burns, rekindling the flame of Frontiers of Pandora, and that's exactly what this title deserved.

For a game where you embody Death, Have A Nice Death just misses posterity but turns out to be a super solid rogue-lite action game, recommended to all fans of the genre. Get ready to giggle at the setbacks of Death Incorporated, to rack your teeth at well-groomed bosses, and to have endless fun, controller in hand, with cutting-edge gameplay with varied powers. Even the art direction works wonders. Overall: we especially regret a timid level design and a challenge that is a little too full-bodied, which come to weigh down the repetitiveness inherent in the genre. For the rest, it's all good.

If you like pretty gothic outfits, green fog-draped scenery, and a close relationship with death, the A la vie à la vie pack definitely has the potential to seduce you. We like the elegant scenery of Ravenwood, the selection of furniture and outfits, the reaper job that is the highlight of the pack, and the wish list that boosts the experience. Too bad some of the other additions seem so anecdotal and that life as a ghost is ultimately not that special.

Generous content is the great strength of NHL 19. Unfortunately, it's not sufficient to overcome the lack of new gameplay mechanics or the graphic render and animation system, that would gain a lot from a switch to the Frostbite engine.
