Beautiful, rich in content, varied in what it offers, The Crew Motorfest is a very good 100% arcade open world racing game. Riding on the heels of Forza Horizon, it is currently one of the most successful clones of the genre leader, even if this means that the French studio preferred to take the lead from its British competitor rather than plow its own furrow. The Ivory Tower software is more effective than surprising, but its qualities are numerous enough that we do not look at its predecessors, in retro, with regrets.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is a generous compilation. Embedding with it all the DLC released during the trilogy, some of which are frankly memorable and greatly improving the visuals of the first game, this edition is to date the best way to discover or rediscover the cult saga of Bioware. However, remaster and not remake requires, newcomers and veterans alike will encounter the heaviness of yesteryear on the first episode, with its imprecise cover system, its heavy movements, its loads a little too numerous or its painful inventory.

Particularly original, as exhilarating as it is scary, Phasmophobia offers a very imaginative and rather new approach to the horror game by placing you in the boots of ghost hunters.

With this new episode, DONTNOD manage to blur the lines of the script, immersing the player into a deeper and more interesting story for the Diaz brothers. Characters are better written, music is great and we can't wait to see what's coming next.

The Three Kindgoms are a great setting for this new Total War because it can provide some fantasy elements taken from the last Warhammer games. The mix is consistent enough to work well, just like the new spying system.

With many original good ideas, Ys VIII : Lacrimosa of DANA is a pure gem. Even the Fedex quests are nicely integrated in the game and the only real flaw is that the game looks like a PS Vita game more than a Switch game.

Priced at just 15 euros and with the promise of free content to come, Fast Fusion is a very good futuristic racing game that will surely delight fans of the genre. It doesn't burden itself with anything superfluous and races towards the finish line at hypersonic speed to the sound of frenzied electro music. With more circuits, in-depth ship customization, and a real campaign mode, it would have reached new horizons. As it stands, Shin'en's game is a 100% arcade experience full of thrills that you would be wrong to miss out on.

NBA 2K20 doesn’t go over the edge, it doesn’t bring much novelty to the series. On the other hand, it has better defense and goes a little further as a simulation. But the micro-transactions are too strong with this one.

Frustrating at times, the fault of a too present farming, but constantly disorienting, this new episode makes us go through all the emotions, from laughter to tears, from epic to big no matter what. “Yakuza, it's stronger than you!”

Doom Eternal on Switch remains Doom Eternal. Always so addicting and well paced, it will satisfy anyone in need of frantic action. It is obvious that concessions are made to make the id Software shooter stand on Switch, but the overall rendering is essentially identical to the 2016 episode on the same medium. We recommend it mainly when docked because the Joy-Con quickly shows its limits during more intense clashes.

Ni No Kuni II is truly a tale, deliberately naïve and full of colorful characters. The combination of different genres, JRPG, management and RTS, works well, as each style is interwoven with the others.

Ruined King: A League of Legends Story isn't reinventing the wheel, that's for sure. However, its solid game systems make it quite a recommendable RPG, especially for LoL fans. They will be able to appreciate the reinterpretation of their favorite universe by Airship Syndicate and Joe Madureira. And while we regret a somewhat conventional writing that sometimes lacks subtlety, we appreciate being able to immerse ourselves in the alleys of Bilgewater and the Dark Isles in the company of charismatic champions.

Demanding without ever being totally off-putting or daunting, Souldiers is highly recommended for all fans of pixel art metroidvania platform action games. Its deliciously retro artistic direction is far from being the only one of its qualities since the game also knows how to renew itself intelligently by offering no less than 3 radically distinct character classes and gigantic maps full of secrets.

After more than 30 hours of play, Helldivers II remains devilishly addictive and extremely enjoyable. Although it still requires playing with several people (with friends or strangers) to fully appreciate its value, the game from Arrowhead Game Studios simply stands out as the best cooperative experience of the moment. If you've always dreamed of playing a mix between Starship Troopers and Terminator and want to be able to fight against hordes of enemies with great blasts from large calibers and orbital cannons, there's a good chance that you'll spend a excellent moment on Helldivers II. And while it may not seem like it at first glance, the game can even require a lot of strategy and restraint on the highest difficulty modes. If I would have liked slightly more solid servers and some additional finishes, I am already looking forward to knowing what the future of Helldivers II will hold. Regardless, I am immediately returning to fight for democracy and freedom. Long live Super-Earth!
