Rollerdrome is undeniably one of the must-watch indie games of the summer for its great feel, satisfying punching shots, and vibrant 80s soundtrack. And if the beauty of the tricks is secondary, their usefulness during a hyper-paced performance constitutes a clever balance and very well balanced in terms of gameplay.

PUBG Mobile is a good port from what PUBG offers on Xbox One and PC. The smart use of the touchscreen and its freemium economic model fit really well and make this game an absolute must-have on any mobile device.

Without revolutionizing the genre, Wild Hearts offers a direct approach to the game of hunting. With the mechanics of the Karakuris, the fights take advantage of a strategic dimension thanks to these constructions that are effective both against monsters and to adjust the levels in its own way. Far from forgetting the essential, the experience of Omega Force offers a nervous and dynamic gameplay, characteristic of the studio, supported by a limited, but varied arsenal.

This Episode 4 is probably the most hard-hitting episod from Life Is Strange 2. A black, dark world is now shiwing in plain sight right before Sean’s eyes and now we’re expecting a very strong finish. Great story-telling.

GRIS is an amazing experience, with a brilliant artistic philosophy. The music fits perfectly but we would have appreciated some more original ideas for the gameplay and a more explicit scenario to guide us during the game.

With this new episode of Nintendo's famous hormone-fueled goose game, you'll come for Mario Party's "Pro" or "Classic" modes, you'll stay for its many other entertaining offerings, both solo and multiplayer. Still as fun, bursting with content and bringing welcome refreshed rules, Super Mario Party Mario Party Jamboree is finally taking risks while the series has been trotting around in its comfort zone for 8 years. Here, online multiplayer is more encouraged than ever, especially with the Koopathlon playable up to 20 players simultaneously. Of course, there is some very good and some dispensable in what it offers to do, but this Jamboree is a very good pick.

A simple update of FM23 for Sports Interactive? Yes and no. We will impatiently await the expected revolution in Football Manager 2025 with a new graphics engine, a new milestone announced by the London studio, but Football Manager 2024 still offers some new features to titillate regulars. If the women's championships are still not present this year, managing a men's national team is much more interesting. We are pleased to find the database and unlimited parameters, boosted by European Cup licenses and even the graphics engine dated during matches offers more convincing animations. Finally, the launch of a game is readjusted with the choice between a scenario that fits with the realities of the current season or your own scenario, or even the possibility of resuming your FM23 save. Welcome adjustments to spend hundreds of extra hours this season to unearth the most obscure talents and finally win the Champions League with a club previously in English D3.

MachiaVillain is a smart management game which rests on a appealing idea: being a bad guy and killing people with style. Cartoonish but deep, the only big issue is its overloaded interface which can be misleading.

SIFU is a vibrant and powerful tribute to the martial arts. Sloclap undoubtedly masters its subject and the genre in which the title fits. In just two games, the Parisian studios demonstrate their know-how in the field, and in fact become recognized artisans of the video game fight. This Beat'em All hits hard and with conviction, and perpetuates this noble art of kicking and kicking in a demanding and inspired quest for revenge. The title of Sloclap, due to its raised difficulty, is intended for tenacious, even relentless players, and could discourage more than one, but learning martial arts requires self-sacrifice and self-control… like SIFU.

This new Nintendo Switch version doesn’t add anything to what 11 Bit Studio had already created. The port is clean and the game runs smoothly, but there’s a flaw: all these texts don’t fit the little size of the Switch screen.

With its challenging prestige elimination race proposition, Ara: History Untold is a relevant addition to the 4X genre, boasting some really nice detailed models, a very satisfying crafting optimization system, and a rather dense non-linear tech tree. Too bad the diplomacy is so frustrating and the concept shows some limitations after about fifteen hours of play.

After a complicated first approach, Black Myth Wukong opened its doors to us (literally) and we have to say that we would have been disappointed to miss out on its adventure. Supported by one of the most exhilarating gameplays of recent years, Game Science's game offers us a skillfully measured challenge that makes us want to discover more each time. Not so linear after all, the journey of the Predestined would have gained from being more concise and erasing its most extensive portions to focus on the essentials. In any case, for this grand premiere, the game honors its promise in terms of immersion, game system and entertainment, even if we regret the lack of rhythm, the redundancy of the level design and a few slight flaws. The creators of Black Myth Wukong have made their science speak: the formula is not perfect but the alchemy works!

Luigi's Mansion 2 - HD manages to give you a cold sweat while retaining the effective and addictive gameplay of the original formula. The alternation between action and puzzles, in well-stocked content, is always just as pleasant. The atmosphere, both frightening and humorous, is perfectly transcribed, and the graphic and sound modernization is a real asset, especially in portable mode on Nintendo Switch OLED. Whether you've played the original game or not, Luigi's Mansion 2 - HD is worth your attention and will provide you with pleasant summer chills.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game was a Beat'em Up classic in 2010, and the Beat'em Up hasn't aged a bit over the past decade. The Complete Edition is generous in content, inspires fans of the genre to outdo themselves in a full-bodied experience, and remains punchy with its extremely well-thought-out combat system.
