Without quite matching the technical performance of Forbidden West, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered easily becomes the ultimate version of Aloy's first adventures. The game is more beautiful than ever and offers a facelift that is both super generous and successful... In short, it is THE version to discover this excellent action-adventure game.- Jeuxvideo.com

Even if it’s just another remaster, Final Fantasy XII : The Zodiac Age adds enough new contents to deserve your attention. The Zodiac Job System, for instance, is something the original game lacked, so it’s a great addition.- Jeuxvideo.com

With Jedi Survivor, Respawn-Electronic Arts takes us on a real Star Wars adventure. The atmosphere and the grandiosity of the sets go into light speed, thanks to the use of ray tracing and the power of the PS5 / Xbox Series generation. The open areas are really fun to ride and never veer into easy filling. The staging is top notch from start to finish, delivering both epic and touching scenes. The writing and the scenario even gain in thickness. Finally, we would have just liked the gameplay, certainly more complete, to be the subject of the same trajectory correction... Beyond a fairly classic start to the adventure, Jedi Survivor sticks to the skin - even after 30 hours of gameplay. An excellent action-adventure game and an excellent Star Wars title.- Jeuxvideo.com

When you play Lies of P, you often have the feeling of playing a FromSoftware game. Enough to highlight the qualities of the games while exacerbating its faults. They are few in number and minimal but still demonstrate FromSoftware remains a cut above and above all the undisputed master in the field. However, Neowiz and Round8 deliver an excellent copy. We remember the nervous and jovial boss fights, a permanent reflection of one's build as well as the multiple choices of possible customization. Furthermore, this rewriting of the tale of Pinocchio shows easily and in an accessible manner how our choices and our responses can have consequences on the world around us. With Lies of P, Pinocchio is no longer a wooden puppet dreaming of being a young boy since he is clearly in the big leagues.- Jeuxvideo.com

Titanic, massive… adjectives fail to describe the immensity of Starfield. Shining like a sun, Bethesda's software is indeed the Skyrim in space that SF enthusiasts hope for. Admittedly, by not revolutionizing any mechanics specific to the genre, the software can be seen as a small nebulous step for the C-RPG. But it's a giant leap for great video game adventures, even if some features lack depth. Gigantic, captivating in its missions, full of things to do and discover, Starfield is an undeniable success. With its original New Game +, it will enchant you for countless hours.- Jeuxvideo.com

Deprived of its usual solo campaign, Call of Duty Black Ops 4 looks more like a patchwork than a whole, tight experience. Nonetheless, its multiple game modes, among which the first AAA Battle Royale, have enough to offer.- Jeuxvideo.com

By offering a realistic look at war by positioning yourself at the head of a group of civilians trying to survive, This War of Mine offers a different approach to survival games but does not avoid some pitfalls. Admittedly, the game mechanics are always the same and can quickly tire you. In addition, certain aesthetic choices somewhat taint the visibility of the infiltration phases and the writing is sometimes clumsy. But it would be criminal not to salute a game which manages to convey a strong message, which knows how to place the player in front of his own conscience at all times without falling into voyeurism or bad taste. A devilishly interesting experience.- Jeuxvideo.com

With Assassin's Creed Shadows, Ubisoft once again proves that its studios have a real talent for creating universes and worlds in their own right. For those who love open-worlds and feudal Japan, there's no doubt that this installment will offer the expected change of scenery. In terms of gameplay, the complementarity and play styles of Naoe and Yasuke are truly refreshing, and we feel that efforts have been made, at various levels, to try to evolve the formula. Despite everything, if a few elements change, the very heart of the saga is still as present in the way we approach the game's content, sources of flaws that we have known for a long time: the redundancy of activities, the AI that leads to quickly mechanical combat, and a somewhat flat story, even if it does have its epic moments. Ultimately, Assassin's Creed Shadows is an effective, mainstream, and entertaining installment, but the series' lack of polish and recurring issues mean that this installment hits a glass ceiling that prevents it from reaching the highest peaks.- Jeuxvideo.com

Shredder's Revenge was expected at the turn and it never disappoints. A love letter to the beat'em up (understand action game against several opponents) of the 16-bit generation (Super Nintendo, Mega Drive...), it pays homage to Turtles in Time by relying on a gameplay of exception and a simply masterful achievement. Beautiful, colorful, well animated and accompanied by catchy music, the title of Tribute Games multiplies the nods to the franchise and will delight all those who despaired of rediscovering the sensations of yesteryear. Yes, some aspects of the game are classic, but the adventure is so exhilarating and dynamic that we want more! Unquestionably the best Ninja Turtles game since Turtles in Time. Fans will be thrilled.- Jeuxvideo.com

Despite the precision of the reflections provided by the “graphics” mode, we especially appreciated a “performance” mode capable of bringing an epic to life in 60fps. Thus, exploring the Office and the many clashes becomes more enjoyable than ever. The included DLCs extend an adventure that retains the same qualities and flaws as in 2019. If you're still new to Jesse Faden's story, it might be time to catch up.- Jeuxvideo.com

The XXL menu concocted by id Software is made for action lovers who always want more ketchup. Between two slices of laughter aboard a giant robot or on the back of a ferocious dragon, The Dark Ages takes advantage of its gigantic zones to let the warrior decide which smoky BBQ sauce he'll be eaten with. The more open worlds allow for extraordinary confrontations never before seen in a Doom, but like the mecha or dragon phases, everything is designed to provoke immediate thrills at the risk of lacking a bit of depth. In any case, Bethesda's production doesn't repeat the same formulas, however magical they may be: it relies on ancestral know-how to better venture into demonic astral planes.- Jeuxvideo.com

With top-notch writing and screenplay, The Forgotten City manages with disconcerting ease to embark the player in a gripping, supernatural and historical tale. A success that is not necessarily obvious from the first moments, when the technical shortcomings of the title (some display problems, animations not always at the top) and the very many dialogues may be put off. But this first impression quickly fades when entering straight into the cursed city of the Modern Storyteller studio, where the famous golden rule is likely to result in the death of all its inhabitants if one of them between them commits the least sin. This initial idea thus gives birth to a whole lot of reflection, on the human condition as well as on the culture of each one, and will bring the player to face many reversals of situation, all well brought up. A very pleasant surprise for fans of the investigation / adventure game.- Jeuxvideo.com

Metal Gear Solid Delta succeeds in its bet to bring a legendary game up to date. 21 years after its release, MGS 3 remains a masterpiece thanks to its incredible storyline, memorable characters, and fast-paced adventure that never gets boring. For new players, its 4K visual overhaul with realistic rendering and comfort options make it an excellent entry point, while fans will be delighted to find all the content surrounding this episode in a single game. But for fear of distorting the original work, Konami has kept some flaws, such as an inconsistent artificial intelligence, but above all, gameplay marked by a certain heaviness that will discourage more than one. In any case, it's hard to deny the pleasure of seeing MGS return to the forefront, hoping that it leads to a new adventure next time.- Jeuxvideo.com

Batman: Arkham Shadow is quite simply the best virtual reality video game since Half-Life: Alyx, and that's saying something. Camouflaj's creation is not a "simple" VR experience. On the contrary, it is a full-fledged adventure that fits perfectly into the Arkhamverse and guarantees total immersion. The studios have managed to transpose the gameplay that made the series successful, whether it be combat, investigations and infiltration, while adding their own personal touch. In Arkham Shadow, you don't play Batman... You are Batman and that makes all the difference. Aside from a few bugs and a slight feeling of repetitiveness after several hours, Camouflaj is flawless.- Jeuxvideo.com

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is the guarantee of discovering an original game wrapped in a particularly stylish universe. We like the idea of integrating traditional dances into a world of Japanese folklore which mixes with very elegant choreography and a particularly pleasant bestiary to discover. The game reserves some good surprises to renew a gameplay loop that maintains the same structure from start to finish, missing the boat in some of its aspects, such as balancing and the progression of the main character. Kunitsu-Gami finally proves to be rather clever in its strategic proposal, with its different systems, its day/night cycle and its limited resources. An experience that will fill your summer for a good twenty hours.- Jeuxvideo.com

Ultimately, Pragmata is a title that still bears the scars of a complex development process—one that forced the teams to make difficult choices, particularly regarding its structure. To avoid compromising the core experience, it feels as though Capcom opted to keep things simple—a choice that is often the most sensible one. While perhaps unsurprising in this regard, Pragmata more than makes up for it with its gameplay—which is exhilarating from start to finish and constantly refreshed by regular new additions—as well as through the story it weaves around its two central characters and their intertwined destinies. Dense, spectacular, and deeply moving, Pragmata stands as the perfect example of the kind of tightly focused game we wish we encountered more often—a stark contrast to other titles that aim for sheer excess. Short yet intense, Pragmata serves as yet another testament to Capcom’s mastery in delivering finely tuned productions that send shivers down your spine.- Jeuxvideo.com

More than a very good Zelda-like, Tunic is a great puzzle-adventure game that will delight fans of exploration and secrets. Because the game of Andrew Shouldice and his friends contains a lot. Very much. Starting with those hidden off the beaten path, thanks to beautiful colorful isometric 3D. But especially those hidden in a paper manual directly integrated into the game. A brilliant idea that serves as a map, a history manual as well as a collection of clues, and which is at the heart of the progression. Tunic knows how to regularly surprise the player with things present from the beginning - a passage, a game mechanic - but which are revealed hours later. Without forgetting the demanding and solid action phases, which contain significant moments. Fights that can also be made very simple, thanks to accessibility options. What to focus above all on the secrets of Tunic, which we took a monster foot to solve. Because that's where the real wealth of the game is hidden. A big crush.- Jeuxvideo.com

Yes, The Outer Worlds has all that we wanted from the writers of Fallout New Vegas. But, while bringing that weird universe with a great liberty of actions, nice questing and a good amount of content (around 20 hours with replayability), the game fails to be à 2019 game. The companion system and the AI don't work quite well, and the global graphics and technical design are weak.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Mr. X Nightmare expansion reinforces Streets of Rage 4's staple position by correcting rare errors in the original game. It expands the base game's cast with three new heroes (including two dedicated primarily to beginners), adds a Training mode accessible to all and a new mode: Survival. This new proposal with high replayability comes with game mechanics inspired by roguelite, the bosses of the first opus, a brand new musical playlist that fits perfectly to the universe and new environments, even if we can regret a lack of variety on this side. But this is the only big problem with this first DLC. Despite this and to put it simply: Mr. X Nightmare perfectly complements the original work and it will please fans of the genre.- Jeuxvideo.com

Excellence in gameplay, quality online mode, smooth execution... all the ingredients are there in this new generation fighting game! Fans of the latest installment should be thrilled, but we can't help but have some reservations about the art direction, content, and lack of life and inspiration in the sets. The King of Fighters has always been a franchise with a certain vibe, and it's perhaps a bit too generic to open up to the masses.- Jeuxvideo.com

What a climb! Without saying a word, Jusant manages to make us feel many things and that makes it a very good contemplative and poetic game. But you still have to not let yourself be disturbed by the few inaccuracies in gameplay and the lack of pressure... Despite some flashes and a welcome relaxing aspect, it doesn't mean that the climb of Jusant pleases everyone. But we quickly forgive its faults when the trip is worth the detour. Whether you want to gain height, reconnect with nature or relax in an exotic world, Jusant may be the game for you.- Jeuxvideo.com

Silent Hill f is first and foremost a bold gamble, a reinvention that ventures into uncharted territory. It creates a persistent strangeness, deeply imbued with Japanese folklore, that is as disconcerting as it is captivating. Its clumsy combat and excessive action weigh down the experience, but its universe, its characters, and its soundscape impose a unique identity, which pushes us to scratch away its layers of mystery until the last minute. Imperfect but striking, Silent Hill f will undoubtedly remain as the episode that dared to redefine fear through the prism of Japanese culture, with flashes of brilliance that we never forget.- Jeuxvideo.com

Nioh 3 is a masterpiece! A super complete action RPG, more accessible than the previous installments, with excellent replayability and, above all, an absolutely brilliant combat system. The samurai and ninja modes, the culmination of Team Ninja's expertise, blend together perfectly and form the foundation of a generous and addictive experience. The open areas are always designed to facilitate progression, and the co-op mode is the perfect finishing touch. A must-play for fans of the genre.- Jeuxvideo.com
