From its effective narration to the depth of its gameplay, through its replayability and its challenges, Desperados III achieves almost flawlessness, and, if you are fans of the genre, we can only advise you to go for it.- Jeuxvideo.com

Ni No Kuni II is truly a tale, deliberately naïve and full of colorful characters. The combination of different genres, JRPG, management and RTS, works well, as each style is interwoven with the others.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Game Kitchen manages to do very well by combining video games and Andalusian folklore. They once again demonstrate their mastery of metroidvania with Blasphemous 2 by further pushing the formula of the first episode: three weapons directly integrated into the gameplay, an atmosphere that is still just as gloomy and combat that is gratifying and far from insoluble. However, those who did not catch the first episode are not likely to be converted as the evolution remains too timid in our opinion.- Jeuxvideo.com

Perhaps even more so than Nintendo title, it perfectly embodies the formula "easy to play, hard to master", being at once easy to take in hand and immediately fun, but also technical and hyper nervous.- Jeuxvideo.com

F1 2017 was great and we didn’t expect much more with F1 2018. And we were wrong. Driving is more demanding, Career mode gets richier and visuals are finally on the same page. This is greatness.- Jeuxvideo.com

Anno 117 Pax Romana is superb, well-balanced, and rich in options. While the campaign is rather disappointing, its management mechanics are well-oiled, and building beautiful, balanced cities is a pleasure. But once the comfortable routine of a functional city is established, interest wanes due to a real pacing problem. Salvation comes from the ability to manage both provinces simultaneously, which greatly revives interest. If you enjoy building slowly, deliberating, and admiring your Roman cities, you'll be in your element. Others are likely to give up before achieving Roman glory.- Jeuxvideo.com

Two Point Museum is a success, it follows in the footsteps of the studio's two previous games. If only it weren't frustrating because of its expeditions! It's a great mechanic that would have been perfect if it hadn't required so much "farming". But you just have to zoom out and observe our beautiful museum, well decorated, filled with numerous and diverse works, with employees working where they should be and happy customers... And we congratulate ourselves on having worked hard, and having enjoyed it.- Jeuxvideo.com

Despite two mandatory levels with a bit too much difficulty and a slight lack of content, Void Riders marks a solid addition to the colorful and still crazy universe of OlliOlli World. It's simple, the gameplay still holds up just as much and the new features that come to embellish it are a pleasure to see. Fans of the base game, you can go there.- Jeuxvideo.com

Wasteland 3, in the field of tactical in general and tactical RPG in particular, will inevitably suffer the comparison with some titles released since Wasteland 2, which proved that one could remain faithful to the spirit of the C-PRG without necessarily lacking a modern and deep approach. However, the old-school character of Wasteland 3 is sure to delight fans of the genre as the baby of InXile knows its lesson and recites it with some enthusiasm.- Jeuxvideo.com

Even though we find the same graphic style and some familiar areas, we feel a slight lack of artistic risk-taking, a somewhat recycled bestiary and menus that haven't changed one iota. On the gameplay side, class balancing still needs adjustments and world events like raids, rare terrains or cataclysms remain too rare to permanently break the routine. The communication system boils down to a ping that isn't always precise, and attempting the adventure solo borders on a feat, given the high difficulty and the need for a cohesive team. However, the game manages to create a strong addiction: even when a run turns into a disaster, we want to try our luck again to take advantage of our character's progression curve and the pride of defeating a boss. Nightreign won't appeal to all players, its severity and small flaws may frustrate more than a few, but it brings a breath of fresh air to the studio. It's a good start, we'll say.- Jeuxvideo.com

Ruined King: A League of Legends Story isn't reinventing the wheel, that's for sure. However, its solid game systems make it quite a recommendable RPG, especially for LoL fans. They will be able to appreciate the reinterpretation of their favorite universe by Airship Syndicate and Joe Madureira. And while we regret a somewhat conventional writing that sometimes lacks subtlety, we appreciate being able to immerse ourselves in the alleys of Bilgewater and the Dark Isles in the company of charismatic champions.- Jeuxvideo.com

Battlefield 6 truly marks a strong comeback for the series. It's an episode that's certainly nostalgic in its approach but which refines its formula in a rather impressive way, notably thanks to gameplay and graphics that are simply marvelous (especially in multiplayer). Playing this opus proved to be a gripping and addictive experience, even if we were a little disappointed by the single player. To be honest, after this test, we can't wait to return to the battlefield. And that says it all, right?- Jeuxvideo.com

With this Forza Motorsport 2023 edition, Turn 10 resets the counters and delivers a car racing game with a titanium chassis capable of carrying the license for several years. Beautiful, fluid, offering very good "simcade" driving sensations, it offers the right modes with the necessary parameters to satisfy almost everyone. Both ultra permissive (in its challenge) and restrictive (in the improvements to be unlocked), this reboot is a bit of a search. Aiming at a very wide audience thanks to its numerous options, it is nonetheless dedicated to fans of pretty cars, those who are able to go beyond its definitively austere appearance (and the absence of urban circuits) to let themselves be captivated by the joys of motorized competition, both solo and online. Nice job.- Jeuxvideo.com

How can we continue to keep a legendary video game series that has just celebrated its 30th anniversary alive? NetherRealm has decided. The apprentice sorcerers led by Ed Boon reanimate the beast and opt for a nice reboot taking care of its accessibility strategy, adding a big touch of RPG (Invasions) and deepening its gameplay with a feature previously unpublished in the series (Kaméos). Despite its aggressive Live service side, fairly classic solo/multi modes and the disappearance of elements loved by fans, the title published by WB Games hits hard if not delivering an uppercut.- Jeuxvideo.com

It's hard to sulk your pleasure in front of this Castlevania Advance Collection. For twenty euros, players can discover and rediscover three essentials of the Game Boy Advance. If the weather hasn't been so good with the SNES opus, Harmony of Dissonance, Aria of Sorrow and Circle of the Moon haven't aged a bit. So now is the perfect opportunity to add 3 great metroidvania to your collection. Too bad only one of them benefits from a French translation.- Jeuxvideo.com

If you have two board game friends who are hungry for their dice roll fix, For the King may be for you. Cleverly blending its roots with the Rogue-Like genre, it offers substantial content for those who are adept at tactical combat and cooperative board games. Don't go there thinking of playing it alone, because the whole thing loses interest dramatically. Board game buffs will see For the King as a good palliative to their usual activities.- Jeuxvideo.com
