With Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U, Katsuhiro Harada proposes a good sequel to the successful fighting game released on PS2. The gameplay mechanics are still intuitive but leave room for improvement. And yet, the use of the GamePad won't revolutionize the gameplay. Thanks to the Tag Crash and the Tag Assault attacks, the fighting sequences are now mostly well-balanced. Moreover, with tons of playable characters, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U is a clearly the kind of title that a lot of players will enjoy. As regards the introduction of the new Mushroom and Tekken Ball Battle modes, it's not really significant.- JeuxActu

Project CARS is simply the best racing sim that money can buy on eighth generation consoles thanks to a very nice physics engine and very decent content. A must buy for petrolheads.- JeuxActu

The Games Workshop franchise is particularly well-suited to Total War, which gets rid of its realistic and historical aspect to become crazier. Fantastic spells and demonic creatures are present, and it works well. In addition, Total War Warhammer 3 has the merit of offering us a quality scripted prologue, just to welcome novices as it should.- JeuxActu

Gorogoa is a very good small game with very good puzzles and a lovely artistic sense highlighted by a sublime soundtrack. On the downside, we would have loved a little bit more playtime as the games offers little more than two hours of enjoyment.- JeuxActu

Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition is pretty much similar to Arkham Asylum. Less focused on the story, Rocksteady's game sticks to the usual codes linked to the famous Dark Knight, flying from crime scene to crime scene across Gotham City. A great liberty of action that offers diversified gameplay sequences. However, the Wii U version suffers from freezing problems and the new gameplay mechanics introduced by the GamePad are mostly anecdotal.- JeuxActu

The PC version of Death Stranding is clearly the superior version as it's better looking, but also offers more content, a new difficulty setting, and a few Easter eggs to Valve Software's franchises. On the other hand the game's initial drawbacks are still present, like that awful advertisement for an energy drink, or a messy UI.- JeuxActu

Gravity Rush allows players to alter gravity in order to reach any places, with heroine's head upside down. A great idea who makes the player feel as if he can fly through the entire city without limits. Despite minor gameplay issues, Gravity Rush is a unique experience, combining energetic fights and a true sense of adventure in gorgeous environments.- JeuxActu

NBA 2K18 keeps dominating the basketball game genre with perfect gameplay and better graphics each year. The career mode on the other hand is less than convincing with its pointless RPG style. The best basketball game on the market nevertheless.- JeuxActu

Monster Hunter Rise really feels like a true opus and not just a spin-off which is high praise for that Switch version. The UI isn't perfect tho, and the need for hardcore farming can scare some players.- JeuxActu

After spending 150 hours on it, finishing the main story of Yasuke and Naoe, and exploring every nook and cranny of the open world, we can tell you without any shame, we enjoyed the adventure offered in this feudal Japan of the 1500s. Everything is obviously not perfect, because the game still carries the stigmata of a license that has difficulty renewing itself, but there are positive things to be learned from it. By choosing to offer two radically different protagonists, the Ubisoft Quebec studio manages to bring together under the same banner the purists who swear by infiltration and the others who appreciate the action-RPG aspect taken since AC Origins in 2017.- JeuxActu

Final Fantasy VII: Remake is a fresh take on Square Enix's classic, with enough new stuff to bring in young gamers, and most of what made the game great over 20 years ago. A true "Remake."- JeuxActu

After more than 60 hours spent on the lands of Hokkaido, juggling main missions, side quests, and endless exploration, the answer isn’t simple. Sucker Punch plays on two fronts: technical conservatism and artistic boldness. Of course, the game isn’t perfect: some mechanics feel recycled, climbing remains archaic, stealth can be frustrating, and technically, you can tell the engine has its limits. But Ghost of Yotei more than makes up for these flaws with its world, storytelling, atmosphere, and that rare feeling of truly losing yourself in a dreamed-up, poetic, and simultaneously violent version of feudal Japan. In short, Ghost of Yotei isn’t a revolution, nor a breathtaking technical leap. It’s a respectful sequel, sometimes conservative, yet one that manages to elevate the original experience through its artistic direction, immersion, and narrative. It’s a game to be savored as much as played, one that delights, moves, and, above all, reminds us why we love virtual feudal Japan: for its landscapes, its mood, and those unforgettable moments when you truly feel like a part of the story.- JeuxActu

The Division is quite a pleasant surprise as long as you play it with some good friends. New York is well-duplicated and the content overshadows Destiny's, yet with some DLCs it will be perfect. The only drawback is the need for a permanent Internet connection.- JeuxActu

There’s no doubt that Forza Horizon 6 is one of the strongest and most polished entries in the series. Japan gives the game a fresh visual identity, the mountain roads are incredible to drive on, exploration remains addictive, and the driving still feels unmatched in the arcade racing genre. But at the same time, you can also feel that Playground Games is starting to play things a little too safe. The biggest disappointment is probably its version of Japan, especially Tokyo, which feels a bit too clean and restrained. After years of fans dreaming about a Forza Horizon set in Japan, many expected something more vibrant, crazier, and more immersive culturally. Instead, the world sometimes feels slightly too westernized to deliver the total change of scenery people hoped for.Still, it would be unfair to focus only on that. Forza Horizon 6 remains an incredibly fun open-world racer. The driving is exhilarating, the progression feels more structured, and the map constantly makes you want to get in a car and drive with no destination in mind. It may not be the revolution some expected, but it’s still an excellent Forza Horizon and easily one of the most accomplished games in the franchise.- JeuxActu

Without changing anything, Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 offers an action packed game based on your ability to inflict a maximum of damage to your enemies. In spite of a very old graphics engine, the game offers a decent life with about 15 hours of play. With dynamic gameplay, the ip follows the likes of Devil May Cry and God of War for the fan's enjoyment. The only true drawback is a very poor script that loses the player in its turns before the grand finale where a very expected twist happens, destroying all hopes of a good story.- JeuxActu

Monster Hunter Generations improves an already excellent breed with new gameplay mechanics, and four new combat stances which can suit any style of player. The content is immense, and the stamina bar is at last unlimited when you run. The only problem is that you need the Circle Pad or the C-stick of the New 3DS to manage the view angle.- JeuxActu

With PES 2016, Konami makes a statement: they are back in the game. And at the heart of this final mutation is finely carved gameplay, based on the traditionally precise construction phases of the series and enhanced by new animations and collisions. The result is a game which is, at last, very nice to play.- JeuxActu

Bayonetta 1 & 2 is a very good remaster that brings the witch into the modern age with 720p 60fps display, and above all portability. The only drawback is that the first game shows its age, especially when in portable mode, but the gameplay makes all those complaints irrelevant.- JeuxActu

GetsuFumaDen : Undying Moon announces about a year of updates before it reaches its truly final version. These future patches will be necessary to correct the progression and balance of the game, which respectively prove to be too laborious and too punitive at the moment. But these very real flaws do not prevent Konami's rogue-like from being very pleasant already. [Early Access Review Score = 75]- JeuxActu
