Without being a revolution of the first game, Attack on Titan 2 is a nice evolution that packs enough new stuff to rejuvenate the game. On the downside, the gameplay is still quite repetitive, but that can be due to the game closely matching the manga.

In spite of a promising overhaul, Dynasty Warriors 9 fails in every aspect with it's soulless open worlds, its lousy gameplay and a truckload of technical problems from AI pathfinding to aliasing and atrocious clipping. Only give it a shot if you're amongst the most hardcore fans of the IP.

It's tough to provide a definitive review on a chapter-based game, but The Council is off to a good start with its gameplay based on social interactions and a very nice artistic touch. A good spin on the Telltale recipe.

Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia is clearly a fan-product with lots of content from the manga but very little appeal in terms of videogaming. The worst drawback is the repetitive aspect of the game with chains fights and boring side quests.

Gravel is undoubtedly better than we expected but it's still quite far from the best in the business like Forza Horizon. Nevertheless, the game should appeal to the die-hard fans of arcade racing in spite of it's shortcomings.

In spite of a reduced enemy pool which gives the incentive to kill the same foe over and over, and regardless of its short story, Moss is one of the best PlayStation VR games out there. The camera is used with skill and helps create a strong link between Quill and the player.

In spite of a good atmosphere and a worth story, Past Cure suffers from wacky gameplay and a short overall experience. Obviously Phantom 8 got too ambitious on this project.

Far from the original root of the series, Metal Gear Survive suffers from a very repetitive gameplay be it in solo or in multiplayer, and the not discreet at all micro-transctions don't help. At least the story is worthy and might hold your interest.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance has the potential to be one of the greatest RPGs of this year, but the sheer abundance of bugs make it almost unplayable. A perfect example of a game that would have benefited from an early access release.

Bayonetta 1 & 2 is a very good remaster that brings the witch into the modern age with 720p 60fps display, and above all portability. The only drawback is that the first game shows its age, especially when in portable mode, but the gameplay makes all those complaints irrelevant.

    Fe
Fe offers a great journey in an enchanted world with a great artistic look and the total freedom to explore the surroundings. On the other hand, the gameplay mechanics quickly become boring and the absolute lack of any challenge may pose a problem to some gamers.

This remaster of Secret of Mana is proof that nobody should mess with a masterpiece unless the budget is more than enough. Emptied from its artistic soul, the game lacks any optimization to improve its gameplay and is thus difficult to recommend to anyone.

In spite of a few good ideas and an appealing atmosphere, The Red Strings Club falls a bit short to be warmingly recommended because it's quite repetitive and very short to beat (around 3h). Moreover, the dull story and the weak technical side of things makes it tough to be enthusiastic.

Candleman is obviously a nice little game with an undeniable poetic touch and nice gameplay mechanics that evolve as each chapter goes by. The game is quick to beat but for 15 euros it's tough to be picky.

Rise & Fall falls a bit short of our expectations as the new features lack some impact on the gameplay , while the diplomatic inconsistencies of the IA makes alliances hard to make. The new civs and new content still make it a content to own for the fans.

Crossing Souls offers a solid experience with a good mix of action and adventure where we enjoyed to lead the 5 kids through their journey. If you like pixel art and 80's vibes, don't miss this game.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT offers a unique combat system that turns the 3vs3 battles into strategic encounters, but the visuals aren't that good specially with the bad camera. The game will be perfect for the fans of Final Fantasy, but the rest of the gamers will find it quite repetitive.

More technical than both previous games, EA Sports UFC 3 also has a less linear "Career Mode". Still gorgeous, still violent, it's currently the best MMA game of this generation.

In 2005, Shadow of the Colossus was already known for being an incredible masterpiece, making Fumito Ueda one of the most talented game designers of his generation. 13 years later, the game returns to PS4 more majestic than ever, while Bluepoint has just redefined the term "remake". More than a masterpiece, it's a major and necessary work.

With Monster Hunter World, the franchise from Capcom reaches a new level. The fights are more dynamic than ever but the difficulty of hunting a monster is still present. The environments are amazing and contain plenty of little details that will maintain the interest of the players. A few improvements would turn Monster Hunter World into the perfect game, but Capcom gets its first major hit of 2018 with this one.

Gorogoa is a very good small game with very good puzzles and a lovely artistic sense highlighted by a sublime soundtrack. On the downside, we would have loved a little bit more playtime as the games offers little more than two hours of enjoyment.

On one hand Okami HD is still a brilliant game that any gamer must beat, but on the other hand it hasn't much evolved from the PS3 version that came out 5 years ago. Like with many remasters, go for it if you haven't played it, skip it if you already have.

In spite of a few story weaknesses, Hidden Agenda is a very good interactive movie that makes a cleaver use of the PlayLink technology by allowing multiple players to join in. A perfect pick for an evening with non-gamer friends, but we would have loved a bit more interaction, while the app uses a lot of energy from your phone.
