One of the few FPS games that actually is better as a single-player. The greatest joy of Red Faction is finishing a gun fight only to see what carnage you've wrecked on the surroundings.

While some elements of the game aren't perfect, the underlying adventure is more than worth the time.

A wonderfully huge experience that will take dedicated gamers some time to finish. And with all of the options available, no two trips through the game will be the same.

While I can not vouch for the accuracy of this digital version of Los Angeles, I will say that's quite an impressive feat to be able to drive around such a convincing environment, littered with cars and pedestrians.

For those who wore out the last few titles, there's enough new elements that would warrant at the very least a rental. If you're big an customization and want to skate online, THUG is well worth your cash.

While the game is quicker-paced and more interactive than most in the genre, it is ultimately a fine representative of a genre that's heavy on lengthy battles and a lot of invested time.

As is the problem with most games built with pre-rendered backgrounds, there are going to be a lot of times where the game camera is going to leave you open for cheap shots as you move from one angle to another.

I understand the need to simplify things for use on the GBA, but even the fact that all the spells use the same art seems a bit disappointing. With that said, though, the graphics do what they should - carry the solid gameplay through.

It doesn't seem like there is much to it but give it an hour to grow on you, its world will open up, and you just might be hooked.

One of my biggest complaints about not only this game but the Tenchu series is that the in-game camera STILL is pretty iffy and proves to make the game more challenging that it already can be.

Don't be fooled by the Disney-esque look of the game - underneath is a brutally violent action game with a lot of depth in the combat system.

With such a loss in the challenge department, Nintendo thought they could make it up by adding enemies who can slice 50 Hit points away in one attack. How did the X learn to boost the potency of such simple attacks? The world may never know.

The game just needed a little more time for polish I believe. If you can just look past these faults then your bound to enjoy the best Matrix game out there today and of course you get to be Neo and come on now, everyone wants to be "The One".

Really just more of a good thing. While the story mode has changed focus and there are a number of minor additions to the gameplay that don't largely affect it (outside of some goals that require said gameplay aspects), the overall core is what Neversoft has basically perfected over the years.

The only outstanding aspect of the game which I wish had been refined was the A.I. of your allies. Since they act on their own accord on a fairly base level, you'll often find them at one extreme or another.

Adding lots of enemies and huge bosses only makes the game more frustrating. Expect veins to pop out of your cranium, and a few broken controllers. Although I did have a tough time getting through the missions, I did have fun.

While it is easily one of the most comprehensive and visually solid racing games to date, I found the fact that it's basically a repackaged "Gran Turismo 2" a little hard to swallow. If you can look past that, this is the game for you.

While the lack of extra modes or the theme of the game may turn some people off, most everyone else should enjoy the game.

Difficulty modifiers make the game much more enjoyable and the edit mode provides endless hours of play. However, die hard fans of the series may feel betrayed with the lack of challenge the game has to offer. But with an all star track list such as this no fan can afford not to pick this title up.

The character models are very well done. The facial expressions impressed me the first time I played. The characters have an anime look that I think the developers were trying to pull off and they did a good job.

While the early races start off in a fairly moderately paced action, the later tracks go by with such a speed that you'll have to remember to blink on occasion.

A great single-player experience. I can understand why this game was so popular two years ago, but without a graphical update and multiplayer modes, it just falls a little short in competition with games like Halo and the new breed of FPS coming out on the consoles.

A great step back to the series' roots.

Even if the game had been optimized more and some of the mechanics streamlined, this game would be a hard sell for most gamers. But, for those looking for a deep and challenging strategy title, Generation of Chaos will fit the bill.

Builds on the weaknesses of its predecessor, but at the same time falls short of its strengths. All in all, this is a great title that offers something entirely new to a series that didn't really need it.

What Black does do right is the fact that you are almost guaranteed to not find another game this action intense in a long time. I've never played a FPS with this much going on and stuff flying around on the screen.

If you want full control over your characters, then Full Spectrum Warrior may be a little "distant" for you. But, for those looking for a more strategic feel to their gameplay, this title offers up a nice challenge while providing more than enough gameplay to test out your ability to command troops.

It provides a good challenge while remaining pretty fun. With tons of challenges to compete in and scores of unlockables to obtain, you're likely to keep this title in your PSP for some time.
