Great puzzles, lovely cut scenes and vibrant 3D environments; Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask is the total package. The Layton formula is renewed just enough through a new search function, some action sequences and great 3D implementation. The story might be somewhat predictable, but because of these great improvements Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask is the best Layton game so far.- InsideGamer.nl

The Pinball Arcade is the best pinball simulation there is. We wouldn’t have elected for a retail-version and preferred a different system to play it on, since this one has less cabinets and it does have a tournament mode. Are you patient and can you enjoy the pretty cabinets in this version, then don’t let us stop you.- InsideGamer.nl

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is ideal for Wii U-owners who are up for a challenge in which they can easily lose dozens of hours. The game doesn’t look exceptionally well, but the strong use of Gamepad, the improved controls and the prospect of Capcom supporting the game with extra challenges and missions, make this final version of Monster Hunter 3 an excellent game.- InsideGamer.nl

We might be a bit sick and tired of all the videogame remasters, but Borderlands: The Handsome Collection awakens us. The huge amount of content, the updated visuals and the option to play together with three of your friends are all great add-ons to an already awesome videogame. The only downside to this collection is the technical imperfection, especially within the Pre-Sequel.- InsideGamer.nl

Forza Horizon 2: Storm Island is fine dlc with its own face. The focus on driving offroad, the extreme weather effects, tiny changes to the known racing formulas plus the new rides are all coming together perfectly. Unfortunately this DLC does not really work for fans of super-shiny sports cars, especially because the new island is not worth exploring any further than just the racing.- InsideGamer.nl

It is very impressive what Massive has done with The Division 2. The game is more beautiful and more atmospheric and it offers a greater variety in gameplay than before. It is an amazing game for the fans.- InsideGamer.nl

Everybody that wants to play Formula 1, should play F1 2016. There is so much content that is very similar to the official formula 1, and it is so much fun to play this game thanks to well thought through features and simply being a nice drive.- InsideGamer.nl

Frustration is what makes us so addicted to N++. If you love tough and challenging platform games, N++ is worth every penny. If not, then still you can enjoy the multiplayer mode or making your own levels.- InsideGamer.nl

For the first time in a long while, PES is a better soccer game than FIFA. It is super realistic and offers a new mode that is very promising for the future. Too bad the menu's are so badly designed.- InsideGamer.nl

A fun and special race game filled with Sega nostalgia. It may be a little bit sad to think that all these special characters can nowadays only be found in a race game, but Transformed is such a good one, that it doesn't even really matter.- InsideGamer.nl

In Harm's Way is an outline of what the rest of The Walking Dead's second season will bring us. Decisions are even more difficult and story elements are shocking, but unfortunately there are also less classic adventure puzzles. However, Clementines story gets clearer bit by bit. We're preparing for the rest of the season: things to come will be more exciting and heartbreaking than ever before.- InsideGamer.nl

Because of the many different power-ups Blur has a deep tactical layer that especially holds its own online. The singleplayer mode teaches you the basics, but the real fun is to be had online, or split screen with your friends. For people without an internet connection the lifespan of the game is significantly cut down because of the lack of quickplay.- InsideGamer.nl

Whether there's enough here to maintain longevity is yet to be seen, but for the time being we finally have a Football Manager-game that can be enjoyed against other people and in short bursts, a game that's subtly addictive but never life sapping.- InsideGamer.nl

Darksiders is a game with a number of different gameplay elements. We love the fighting and puzzles, but the pace of the game could have been a bit faster. Nevertheless, Darksiders is a great way to start off the new year.- InsideGamer.nl

The Outer Worlds seems to be inspired by the Fallout series, but this brand new franchise can stand on its own two feet. With a complete universe full of memorable characters, interesting stories, beautiful environments and spicy choices, this is a wonderful game to lose yourself in.- InsideGamer.nl

This games makes us feel nostalgic about the genre and fairy tales in general. Even if we do not let the nostalgia get to us, this first episode is a very strong game. It has the vibe of big, forgotten adventures and we cannot wait for the second episode to release.- InsideGamer.nl

Death Stranding lives up to its towering expectations, if it does not exceed them. That does not automatically mean that the game is perfect. For example, the story and the actual gameplay are very unrelated, and the game has a rough edge. And yet Death Stranding is extraordinary. The complex and layered story, the serious gameplay full of comic notes, the deserted and oppressive world and the subtle connection with other players create extreme contrasts and a range of emotions.- InsideGamer.nl

Tim Schafer’s latest game-baby is a tribute to Metal, with a little parody to the genre. The game has a lot of varieties that is either a curse or a blessing to the game. The game loses a lot of depth because of the varieties, but delivers a humoristic and ever changing package. However the game is technical a little messy, it plays a great tribute to the Metal genre.- InsideGamer.nl

The Chronicles of Riddick: AODA tries to combine several genres into one single game. The result: an average game with nothing but mediocre aspects. Vin Diesel's presence and the Riddick-license make the game enjoyable nonetheless and additional to the Assault on Dark Athena campaign, there is a full next-gen version of the original Escape from Butcher Bay game. Sadly though, this remake does not live up to modern day standards.- InsideGamer.nl

The Story Mode is not as a good as it thinks it is: why is that stupid block button still there? But still, Mortal Kombat 11 is one of the best, refined versions of a fighter that has definitely claimed its place in the genre.- InsideGamer.nl

This is Dishonered at its best: it has interesting stealth action and every level has multiple ways of how to deal with them. It is too bad the game offers too many moments where there are just a bunch of guards thrown at you, but other than that: great.- InsideGamer.nl

There are more arcade racers than you can count, but Split/Second brings something to the pack that makes this game a must-try. Every race is a hyped-up experience full of explosions and crashes that leaves the décor in shambles, but puts you on the edge of your seat. Realism or depth is not something you can expect from this title, but that shouldn’t be a deal breaker.- InsideGamer.nl
