Soulcalibur VI is a fighting game for the masses. Its excellent for wasting a few hours. The game is not perfect, but there is enough there to make the seventh entry in the series amazing.

Skate 2 is a diamond in the skateboarding genre, but loses focus every now and then. Nevertheless, it’s a definite purchase if you’ve enjoyed the first game, and a great opportunity for newcomers to give the trademark Skate-gameplay a try. The controls are just as intuitive as before, performing tricks is ultimately satisfying, and San Vanelona remains a great place to reside in.

There are more arcade racers than you can count, but Split/Second brings something to the pack that makes this game a must-try. Every race is a hyped-up experience full of explosions and crashes that leaves the décor in shambles, but puts you on the edge of your seat. Realism or depth is not something you can expect from this title, but that shouldn’t be a deal breaker.

DJ Hero is a new concept and a risky attempt to bring DJ’ing in to the living room. With a great soundtrack, enough content to keep going and a style that feels trusty but new at the same, they succeeded to do that. The price is a little bit high and only the die-hard fans will consider a purchase. But the quality of the game shouldn’t be clouded because of the price.

This game uses Kinect as it was meant to be used: it is technically amazing, and it takes you to another world in which not your brain, but also your body plays a big part. The game is funny, the puzzles are smart and that makes the shortness of it a bit of a let-down, in a positive way though.

FTL is a simple looking space adventure with an amazing amount of depth. It has a high difficulty and an enormous amount of strategic possibilities. And despite the fact that it's somewhat monotonous at times, FTL is an unique and refreshing space game where danger lurks behind every light jump.

This remake of the fifth part of the Dragon Quest series is a game which does what’s it’s supposed to do. It is a good game, but it could have been a lot better. The battle system works and the training of monsters is also very recognizable. Nevertheless, you still get the feeling it could have been more innovative. We do like the story, because it keeps you going. Whenever you feel like putting down your DS, you still want to know what is going to happen next. Dragon Quest isn’t as good as Chrono Trigger, but it’s still a fun game to play.

Xenoblade Chronicles X is not the big step forward that Xenoblade on Wii was. But it does leave a big impression with its phenomenally big environments. It is an excellent JRPG that is challenging and refreshing for players that want something different.

Resogun is spectacular, beautiful and very easy to control. Who doesn't enjoy getter as high as possible high scores to compete with yourself, your friends and the rest of the world has nothing to go for with Resogun. It welcomes the new console in the best possible way though: with blazing action and hypnotizingly intense gameplay.

Frozen Synapse has great gameplay thanks to a wealth of options that make for deep, turn-based combat. The fights are addicting, but it isn't visually amazing, despite the charm of the neon colors. The amazing soundtrack, great controls and excellent multiplayer make this an awesome game on iOS devices.

Need for Speed: Shift has found the right direction once again. The race feeling with the most cars is fantastic and the game looks great. There is enough to do and the experience system invites the player to do races more than once.

Do not expect anything too new about Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, and you will enjoy a very extended version of Pokémon Sun and Moon with a huge Pokédex, a bigger story and many smaller tweaks. The original was a brilliant title and this one shows it still is.

War is obviously outclassed by big brother Death. The agility of Death makes the combat feel more fluid and makes the platforming more fun. The addition of several RPG elements is a step forward in the franchise and the length, of at least twenty hours (forty if you want to get all collectibles and do all the side missions), will make sure you'll be spending a long time in the world of Darksiders 2.

Borderlands gives the lonely gamer a kind of monotonous experience, but it is great when you invite some friends. The story is really thin and the world is kind of lifeless at some points. But tons of weapons, quests and the urge to level to the next stage makes the game entertaining. A solid game for those who like to play together, instead of against each other.

Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee was a classic on PlayStation One and nearly twenty years later it feels as fantastic as ever. This due to the fact that the game is built from the ground up and the biggest flaws of the original game are history. The fact that it’s a sidescroller now, has it’s pro’s and cons, but the game never really drops the ball. New ‘N’ Tasty offers a lot of nostalgia to its fans and for newcomers, this is the moment to get your first taste of Abe’s abnormal adventure.

New Super Mario Bros. U introduces too few new ideas to push the platform genre forward in a way a Mario-game normally does, but nonetheless it's a great game. The level design is outstanding, the multiplayer is fantastically chaotic and the varied Challenge Mode increases the life expectancy of the game. It doesn't matter if you're a solo gamer or like to dabble in multiplayer fun; New Super Mario Bros. U is a safe option to combine with the purchase of a Wii U.

UFC 2009: Undisputed is a must-have for UFC-fans. If you're not a fan, you can still enjoy a good fight and it is a superb introduction to the UFC-world. The game is visually great and the impact of the hits is impressive. Play this game with your friends until the late hours.

Even though The Bioshock Collection is filled with content, it is far from perfect. Technically speaking there are a lot of bumps on the road and the gameplay simply is not Bioshocks strong suit. However, the design is amazing.

Leo's Fortune is a refreshing game with a unique style, thanks to the combination of different elements. This is in part by detailed, diverse environments. The controls feel weird at times, but are well executed and work well. It lacks in challenge and is quite short though. We would've liked to see more.

Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D succeeds in being better than the original by smartly using the hardware capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS. The 3D-effect and adaptation of the controls will be very refreshing to those who played the Wii-version. The biggest improvement comes in the form of a new setting developed for the 3DS, which converts the console-experience fantastically to a handheld format.

Lara Croft GO is a perfect on-the-go game. The loungey music and the fact that things only happen when you step forward, makes it a very relaxing game to play. It is a bit short, but thankfully the makers came up with some pretty difficult levels at the end, which take a bit longer to figure out.

The positive side of this game predominated, but this is still a replay mission of Halo 3, despite of the typical Halo gameplay and the new great Firefight mode. ODST is a midday snack compared to Halo 3, which has much more epic moments. It just misses an interesting story, new graphics and the game should have been longer. We hope to give Bungie something to think about with our grade while creating Halo: Reach.
