OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood is a game that takes you skyhigh just to drop you down painfully. This hardcore game needs perfect timing, offers a great diversity in surroundings and a great soundtrack. Too bad the local multiplayer is not added to this awesome game yet.- InsideGamer.nl

Because of its accessibility on the one end, depth on the other and loads of fans, Persona 4: Arena is blessed with a long life. It might drop the ball on storytelling here and there, but that doesn't take away from the fact that we're dealing with a great and beautiful fighting game here.- InsideGamer.nl

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD might not be the best Zelda, at least it aged well. The HD port is not on all levels equally solid, plus there are not a lot of new features. However, this game still is an amazing adventure that will entertain you for many hours.- InsideGamer.nl

In Cadence of Hyrule two games meet on the dance floor and their dance is awesome. As roguelike this might not be as convincing, as the rhythmic gameplay is too easy. It works for Zelda though.- InsideGamer.nl

Newbies might be better off starting with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, but for experienced Monster Hunters this game is the greatest one thus far. There hasn't been much change since the last game, but there is still much to get from this new Monster Hunter experience.- InsideGamer.nl

Splinter Cell: Conviction is quite different from its predecessors. Less trial-and-error, more tactical and action based stealth. Sam Fisher became the ultimate killing machine in the renewal of the stealth genre.- InsideGamer.nl

Cities: Skylines makes up for everything SimCity did wrong. It offers the possibility of making gigantic cities in which infrastructure is key. Building a city that does well sometimes gets a bit too easy, which also shows the limited offer in buildings. Thankfully the quickly growing community knows what to use the Steam Workshop for. This is only going to get better.- InsideGamer.nl

Car enthusiasts do not have to look any further for the best race game of the moment: that would be DiRT Rally. There is so much depth, challenge and sensation in this new Codemasters title, wow. All we want is more tracks and cars.- InsideGamer.nl

This is a strategic and rhythmic roguelite that offers many hours of entertainment thanks to its randomly generated dungeons, bombastic soundtrack and waves of deadly enemies. Sometimes it seems impossible to really get through the game, but that awesome feeling when you do win, will get you hooked on Crypt of the Necrodancer.- InsideGamer.nl

Ni No Kuni is an amazingly complete package. It’s disappointing the game puts the player through a lot of backtracking and the difference between the beautiful cinematic cut scenes and the text balloons is terrible. These are only minor issues when you see the beautifully created world, the excellent fighting system and the incredible amount of content the game has to offer.- InsideGamer.nl

UFC Undisputed 2010 is a great improvement compared to the 2009 installment. The balance between the fighters is much better, it looks better and the waiting times between the fights have been greatly reduced.- InsideGamer.nl

Tatsunoko vs Capcom is a nice fighting game. The controls are great and is a lot of fun to play against friends. The only downside are the characters, which are unknown in the Western World.- InsideGamer.nl

Bravery Default is mostly built on a strong foundation that Square Enix built up over the last several years with RPGs. It does do a few unique things though. The Brave & Default system is well thought out and the 3DS-functionalities are put to good use during this enormous adventure. Too bad the story is a letdown and it starts of too slowly.- InsideGamer.nl

The slogan 'Fight like Hell' says it all. Doom is brutal, it is quick and it is exactly what Doom was in the 90s. That is a big plus, but also a weakness as id Software simply can't manage to modernize the series. The story is insane, the tempo is odd and shooting gets a bit repetitive.- InsideGamer.nl

This game really blew us away. From the tons of missions to the fantastic story, the game doesn’t disappoint. One might say that fighting over and over again feels a little bit boring, but we can’t get enough of it. The fights are intense and will challenge you to think about your actions. One wrong decision and you might lose the war.- InsideGamer.nl

Red Faction: Guerrilla is a sandbox game in its purest form. Watching giant structures collapse is an absolute thrill, and although the characters and their backgrounds aren't very compelling, the awesome weapons and great amount of side missions will take players on a path of destruction for hours to come.- InsideGamer.nl

World Tour offers a ton of great additions to the Guitar Hero series. The GHstudio and Create-a-Rockstar mode are a real treat, together with all the minor improvements made to the key concept of the game. It’s even better than its main competitor Rock Band 2, because of the great track list, and the fact that players are given the chance to actually create music to a certain level.- InsideGamer.nl

Two years ago I wrote I hoped the developers would make a successor to LocoRoco more challenging. It appears they haven’t heard my calls. The game still possesses the same charm and cuteness, especially for people who missed out on the first installment in the series, and the soundtrack will make anyone smile. LocoRoco 2 gets repetitive in the long run though, and adds very little to the original game.- InsideGamer.nl

Don’t be mislead by its appearance: Hotline Miami is not Kill Frenzy: The Game. Before going on a murderous rampage, you must inspect your surroundings and plan out your attack. Having multiple enemies in one room require a lot of patience and skill, which is why the game will take you longer to finish than you might’ve thought. If you have a choice, play it on a Vita. The touch screen enhances the controls just enough to where it is deemed more easily playable.- InsideGamer.nl

Forza Horizon trades the serious character of the Motorsports series for a game that is literally a party. Thanks to the great festival music the atmosphere is better than ever, while still keeping the Forza gameplay intact. Super Smash Bros. is a worthy fighting game on the 3DS. The game hasn’t lost any of its depth. The arenas are smaller though, and the gameplay may not be optimal for the fanatic players. The lack of a singleplayer storymodus also irks. Still, this game is able to provide fun for hundred of hours.- InsideGamer.nl

World at War is actually Call of Duty 4 in disguise. Not every change is an improvement, but fans of Modern Warfare will probably enjoy its follow-up just as much, given that they aren’t tired of World War 2 by now. The multiplayer remains addictive, and the online co-op mode is an awesome addition, and together they make this one of the surprises of 2008.- InsideGamer.nl
