A great VR horror experience with clever narration and excellent audio. The game can be played traditionally, without an HMD, but it loses 90% of its charm.

Persona 5 is one of the best JRPGs ever: a must-have for fans and an incredible title for any neophyte who wants to approach the genre. A true masterpiece.

The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ is a perfect match for the new Nintendo Switch. Is easy to grasp and its pace suits perfectly the Switch portability. With hundreds of weapones, enemies, mysteries and rooms to explore... you got plenty to sink teeth into.

The Ringed City is a very good DLC for Dark Souls 3, far better than the previous one, Ashes of Ariandel.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends is a very good CCG, but too similar to Hearthstone. The risk is to become useless for many players.

Toukiden 2 could have been a fair game, if only it weren't so visually ugly and so absolutely not user friendly.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is disappointing in many respects (not merely the visual ones), even if its sci-fi mood, exploration, crafting and multiplayer are all well-done.

LEGO Worlds is a good sandbox game, but it lacks a bit in what makes other LEGO games funny.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is an open world shooter that brings together a beautifully crafted huge map and a campaign that gives the player total freedom. The depth of the adventure is a bit flawed by the repetitiveness of the mission and a broken driving system.

Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey is a good, classic JRPG with a simple but entertaining plot and an excellent art direction. Unfortunately, the graphics are quite outdated, but its still a great game and a nice turning point for the series, which both fans and newcomers will certainly enjoy.

The cool combat mechanics, its common ground with the likes of Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI, and the intriguing story of I am Setsuna will please fans of old school JRPGs, but it’s far from perfect: it’s quite linear and monotonous.

2Dark relegates the flatless only on the artistic side, hiding behind its style a deep and satisfying game. Unfortunately in that depth there are some bugs capable of breaking up the game.

Fun and well done, Mario Sports Superstars is a cheerful and funny sports game, although weakened by an excessive copy & paste.

Good 'ol Bomberman is still crazy after all these years, but there's nothing really new, it lacks some options, the story mode is nothing exciting and the game is a bit too pricey.

1-2 Switch fails in its primary goal: show how fun can be a Switch party game. There's literally no reason to buy a game that you shouldn't download even if it was free.

A fun and clever multiplayer experience that would have been perfect if it were bundled with the console itself. It might lack that special spark of genius that could have turned Snipperclips into a cult classic, but it's still a fascinating and appealing way to show off your brand new Switch to anyone (gamer or not).

Nier: Automata is one of the most original, surprising and brilliant games of this generation. Not perfect, but unmissable.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an incredible journey and an exhilarating adventure in a rich world. A real must-have.

Night in the Woods is a charming game. I was fascinated by its general atmosphere, graphics and music, which I found amazing. It’s a good adventure overall, with very well written dialogue, but its bare mechanics made it relatively boring for me. The player doesn’t really have to do that much, remaining extremely passive. It’s interesting how the designers were able to deal with difficult themes such as depression, anxiety and child abuse in a very congenial way, without sounding too inane or obnoxious, but they did put a lot of accent on these aspects making the real plot marginal.

It's Torment. It's back. If you have the courage and strength to face the mental pressure, as I do, the result is a memorable experience.

Malicious Fallen is an aesthetically pleasing action game, flawed by many problems that would have been quite easy to address. Just like its previous chapters it's a title with good potential, unfortunately not exploited, which will be certainly appreciated by fans of the series.

Don’t expect great new features compared to Halo Wars or some kind of strategic depth, but the Blitz mode and online multiplayer will entertain you in the long run.

A standard musou experience, graced by an impressive narrative universe that makes it unmissable for the fans... and rather boring for anyone else.
