Saints Row IV doesn't excel in terms of gameplay, but it hits a home run in terms of fun and laughter. The plot is both absurd and beautiful and the activities are so varied that one can easily forgive its faults. If you want a sandbox and you don't take yourself too seriously, Saints Row IV is a game you don't want to miss.- IGN Italia

Most Wanted... and needed, to finally prove what Wii U can do by flexing its graphical muscles and capitalizing on its GamePad screen. An adrenalinic arcade racer by Criterion that shows the right criteria for developing Wii U ports in future.- IGN Italia

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate might very well be the best chapter of the series. The vertical gameplay makes everything more interesting, all while keeping the unique hunt feeling of the series. There's lots of content (the normal game, plus the Ultimate add on) and the game is more accessible to newcomers. Beware, though, because we're still talking about a very taxing game, which might not be everybody's cup of tea.- IGN Italia

This is how DLCs or sequels should be made: by avoiding the "more of the same" formula. No sameness here, it's a great addition, with a lot of humour and unique gameplay. One of the greatest DLCs in recent years.- IGN Italia

A beautifully crafted, written and acted investigative adventure. It's a smart and deep take on the FMV “genre” and even if it's probably not for everybody, anybody who's interested in these kind of experiments should give it a try.- IGN Italia

Mario Kart World is the most ambitious entry in the series so far, introducing fresh ideas like the standout Survival mode alongside its familiar, enjoyable gameplay. The concept of an interconnected world is a bold move that opens up new exploration opportunities, although the open world itself feels somewhat empty and some features seem a bit undercooked. Despite these flaws, the game delivers a solid and engaging experience that can provide countless hours of fun, especially with friends. It’s not quite the ultimate Mario Kart yet, but it’s a significant step in that direction.- IGN Italia

Nioh 3 is a smart evolution of a winning formula. Team Ninja successfully transitions to an Open Field structure without losing the tightness of its level design, while the new Samurai/Ninja duality adds a fresh tactical layer to an already stellar combat system. The game feels fairer and more accessible than its predecessors, removing artificial frustration in favor of readable challenges. While the narrative plays it safe and side content remains repetitive, the core loop is stronger than ever. A must-play for fans of the genre.- IGN Italia

Heart of the Swarm is not a revolution in the genre, but is what each StarCraft fan was expecting. It is an awesome RTS powered by amazing RPG elements, and its gameplay is able to bring the gamer’s mood to the next level, by unleashing some terrific cutscenes that drive the plot till the end.- IGN Italia

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a good metroidvania that makes its intriguing gameplay its most appreciable aspect, which offers many accessibility-related options that allow the game experience to be fully customized. Although it is not flawless in some aspects, such as an uninspired character design and a difficulty balance that is not properly calibrated, Ubisoft Montpellier's new game is a must play for all fans of the genre and the Prince of Persia franchise.- IGN Italia

A brilliant take on narrative adventure games by Obsidian. Pentiment is an awesome portrait of XVI century Europe and a compelling game about the sense of history, religion, tradition and personal beliefs. Sometimes the narrative structure is constraining, but overall the writing is amazing, the style is great, and the bibliography become part of the game in a clever way.- IGN Italia

The Legendary Edition is the best way to experience one of the most fascinating space opera in all of gaming, with refined visuals and also a few gameplay improvements for the first Mass Effect. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is the franchise's best episode since Assassin's Creed II. Silent Hill f is a compelling yet flawed return for Konami’s iconic horror series: narratively strong and visually striking, it immerses players in a haunting psychological nightmare set in the eerie Japanese town of Ebisugaoka. Hinako's touching and unsettling story is the highlight, but the experience is held back by basic combat, limited enemy types, and a design that requires multiple playthroughs to fully understand the plot without enough gameplay variety. Despite interesting ideas and solid presentation, the game loses momentum over time, feeling repetitive and lessening its emotional impact.- IGN Italia

HROT is another name to add to the ever-growing list of great boomer shooters, one that boasts some solid gameplay mechanics, a rich and satisfying level design, and a peculiar atmosphere that brings players in an alternative version of 1980s Czechoslovakia that is both fascinating and fully able to stand out from the usual locations that we see in these kind of games. Sure, the game can be a bit "janky" sometimes, but its heart is in the right place, and overall, it's a well-made and thoroughly fun experience that most FPS lovers are bound to enjoy.- IGN Italia
