Despite a not-so-smooth introduction of the huge anticipated Batmobile, Arkham Knight is an amazing game, and one of the best examples of open world games so far. The way you can interact with Gotham is remarkable, and there’s so much love for the DC’s comics that you can feel it in every corner of the city. Goodbye Rocksteady, and thanks for all the bats.

The most ambitious and intense Sam Barlow's game is a brilliant interactive mockumentary about movies and our relationship with the sense o narration. Thanks to a sleek and precise game mechanic and a clever management of a very thin fourth wall, Immortality plays with both cinema and video game languages, using them both to deliver a deep story with different layers. If you like FMV adventures and Sam Barlow's games, it's definitely a groundbreaking game.

Pokémon Sun and Moon clearly want to change some aspects of a long-standing series. The new features actually bring some of the mechanics up-to-date and, at last, there's a good level of challenge. A deeper plot makes the whole adventure even more enjoyable, too. Unfortunately, there are also some flaws: Alola is definitely too linear and the Pokédex has very few new entries. Overall, the graphics are good, but the frame rate drops dramatically kinda often.

Tomb Raider is a frantic and largely enjoyable rollercoaster ride. Crystal Dynamics has clearly learned the Uncharted lesson, giving birth to a brand new Lara. Maybe a tad easy and not so deep, but thrilling and exciting nonetheless.

Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest is a monument to the elegance of Intelligent Systems. Hard, yet accessible, it's even deeper than the series' standards. Fans will love it and newbies should try it (maybe starting from the Birthright version).

Tearaway is a paper-based masterpiece, a lovely fable and the perfect game for PlayStation Vita. A game can exploit in a natural and very sublime way all the technological features of the Sony console, without straining or discomfort.

This is not simply a game, it’s a touching experience that anyone with a soul should try. It’s not the most difficult game on the market, but it’s probably one of the best.
