The return of Resident Evil 3 manages to maintain the balance between memory and adaptation. Even if the withdrawal of certain characteristic aspects of the original game could disappoint the most avid fans, the care taken in the reconstruction of the atmosphere and of the feeling it is visible an above all, perceivable. Nemesis could have more stage time, of course, but even so its presence hovers in the apocalypse of Raccoon City, and when it finally manifests itself, it is as beautiful as it is distressing.

Consider Super Mario RPG as a textbook: if you want to know how Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi were born, you're in the right place. If you're looking for a great Mario RPG, you'll find an outdated game.

The best possible version of Final Fantasy X and one of the best remastered version of an old generation console game to date: Square Enix did an amazing job to take all Tidus and Yuna’s fans back to Spira.

Fatal Falls introduces two new biomes, a new boss fight and few but notable new weapons, enriching the Dead Cells experience for veterans and novices alike. All in all, a very good addition to the wonderful action roguelite by Motion Twin/Evil Empire.

Chicken Police: Paint it RED! offers a pleasant experience that keeps the player's attention throughout the story thanks especially to a good balance of intrigue and humour. Every piece of the puzzle finds its place, both in plot and in gameplay, and the final product is really a fully satisfying one. A good game.

PES 2018 is almost a carbon copy of the 2017 edition... until the start of the match. Konami has improved the gameplay in every possible way. It's a pity that game modes and options at this point are more than dated.

Ghost of Tsushima is a love letter to the chambara movies and delivers great atmosphere and stylish visuals, but Sucker Punch’s open world fails to bring a compelling and cohesive experience gameplaywise. With its highs (duels, mythic quests) and lows (open world structure, quests), Ghost of Tsushima is an average game, and sadly feels like a lost opportunity to bring to the players the definitive samurai experience.

A nice rehearsal of the best "Tales of" chapter. Very nice if it's the first time you play it, superfluous if you already played the original version.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 proposes many good contents for everyone and goes on the safe side, but it does so damn well and with such self-confidence that it mesmerizes.

One of the finest Wii games make its "return" on the 3DS. Monster Games managed to squeeze the brilliant level design and the epic challenges of the original game in this 3DS port. Some minor visual problems keep it a step away from the original Retro Studios game, but it's absolutely still worth playing.

Guacamelee 2 is as good as the first episode: if you loved the original one, five years ago, you'll like this too. Wonderful art direction, great music, very good gameplay, just a little bit frustrating sometimes.

Persona 5 Strikers is the perfect sequel to Persona 5. A game that reinvents the formula that has made hundreds of thousands fall in love, while maintaining the pompous and unattainable style that characterizes the series. The first half of the adventure falls short in comparison with the second, and even at the highest difficulties the game fails to provide a real challenge, but these issues won't ruin what is, in fact, a really fun experience with an incredible cast of characters some of the best moments in the entire saga.

EA Sports College Football 25 is simply one of the finest interpretations of American football since NFL 2K5. Dynasty mode is great, Road to Glory has untapped potential while CUT has all the pros and cons of EA's Ultimate Teams. It's been years since I've played such a beautiful, engaging and well-curated simulation.
