Deadfall Adventures fails to get a passing grade mainly due to weak writing and very rough and badly made shooter sections. This new effort by polish team The Farm 51 is saved only by some nice puzzles and the curiosity to seek the treasures scattered throughout the levels.

Spelunker Party! is a challenging, classic game, with a ton of levels and objects to customize our avatars. But it’s repetitive and some gameplay mechanics are overly punitive. We were expecting more from a new, payed, edition of its free-to-play brother, Spelunker World.

The horrible interface, mediocre tactical combat and lack of any "sense of wonder" banish Horizon to the dust bin of space strategy games.

If you really want to give Ninja Gaiden 3 a shot, Razor's Edge is surely the way to go. Yet, despite the undeniable improvements, we're still dealing with a mediocre action game and a chapter of a (once) glorious series we really hope to forget as soon as possible. Itagaki, we desperately miss you.

The console version of Le Tour De France 2013 tries to simplify gameplay too much by cutting away almost any managerial aspect and has some annoying technical issues, especially in terms of frame rate. It's a mediocre game, plain and simple.

The latest entry in the Sword of the Stars series is a flawed dungeon-crawler, with uninspiring 16 bit style graphics and questionable game-design choices. Kerberos' challenge is not fair, even for the die hard fans of the genre: if you want to have some fun, play FTL: Faster Than Light instead.

Angry Birds Star Wars is essentially a good game, with some amazing levels and a lot of stars to collect, but the it isn't meant to be played with a pad and in prolonged sessions. It could have been an honest porting, but the due to its absurd price tag it's sadly not the game you are looking for.

The first episode of George and Nico's return is a disappointing experience, unable to achieve its dreams. The game works fine, but the story itself lacks of punch and ends suddenly, when things start to get interesting. We can only hope that the best is yet to come, maybe in the second chapter.

Gungrave GORE is a game out of time even if you look at it through the lens of nostalgia. Beyond a narrative context that has not been received, but in line with the two past games, everything from gameplay to level design is too old, even when it manages to entertain in a rather genuine way.

Sing Party is a not-so-interactive karaoke, nothing more and something less than what Sony achieved with SingStar in the last decade. The shallow visuals don’t help either, but the tracklist hosts some pretty decent modern hit and a bunch of oldies-but-goldies.

Another bland metroidvania game with nothing particularly exciting to offer. There are too many great alternatives to give this one a shot.

Natsume tried everything to give an identity to the latest Harvest Moon. The result, though, is too slow and boring.

An expansion pack with a very convenient new name, with some new content that does not justify the price tag. The game is the same the fans already played and it didn't age that well.

A Spidey game that falls short of any Batman: Arkham, again. Its open world is empty of interesting interactions and full of repetitive fights with uninspired bands of villains. Its free roaming makes you free as a bird when gliding in the air but clumsy as a silly spider when fighting on the ground. Just another shattered hope since Shattered Dimensions.

Simplistic game and level design make Ironfall Invasion a boring and dull third person shooter. A wasted opportunity.

The Settlers: New Allies tries to reinvent the series, simplifying its city-builders core mechanics to make room for newcomers more familiar with the RTS genre. Unfortunately, the final shape is a game that struggles to find its identity and that isn't really convincing neither as an RTS nor as a city-builder.
