Rigorous gameplay and freedom make Of Ash and Steel a challenging but captivating RPG. Every exploration, encounter, and achievement must be earned, offering a unique and immersive experience.

With its masterful art direction, South of Midnight nevertheless suffers from gameplay that is far too poor, a bestiary that doesn't renew itself enough, and a story that doesn't follow through on its project or deepen its subtext.

Rather austere in its presentation, and repetitive in its gameplay, Foretales unpacks an intriguing story via its roguelite storytelling, which has you throwing game after game, but in moderation. You'll want to achieve one good ending at least.

Ubisoft won't change its Far Cry formula, but it doesn't polish it either. There's no effort made to improve IA and the whole tone of the game is borderline schizophrenic with fun and horror battling for attention. Despite this, Far Cry 6 remains fun and obsessive for explorers and completionists, with a ton of things to do and see (and kill).

The World Ends With You is back with its impeccable style and unique atmosphere, with a long awaited sequel. The combats are exceptionally punchy, the characters are interesting and endearing, and the music is unforgettable. The story succeeds at onboarding newcomers as well as answering a lot of questions fans of the first game had for years. NEO remains, however, like its predecessor, a very linear adventure, with pacing issues and gameplay that can become tedious.

Eldegarde shows itself at its best, with a version that has fully benefited from its early access to capitalize on its areas for improvement and put them into practice. Not everything is perfect yet, however, and it requires full commitment to really enjoy this new release, but the progress is palpable.

For a series that releases an opus every two years, Sniper Elite: Resistance's new chapter offers a rather unobtrusive evolution of its formula, sticking to the basics of what Sniper Elite 5 was all about. Nevertheless, it's a thoroughly honest game that will delight fans of the series and newcomers alike.

Solo players will complete everything Mario Strikers has to offer pretty quickly, the game is being focused on multi. It's a solid game, from the gameplay, technical and artistic point of view, but it still needs some content updates.

Robocop Rogue City Unfinished Business is a bit of a "same old, same old" in a condensed format that gets right to the heart of the matter: more fun, more excitement, more action... And well, that's pretty good as it is.

High On Life is a Comedy FPS that hits its target with its writing but not so much with its shooting. Too bad there's no localised version because it's really funny.

Here we are, the Switch 2 has its own racing game. The Mario Kart alternative is quite different, more substantial, but still lacks content despite a mountain of unlockables. We appreciate the user-friendliness ethos and the visual vibrancy, but it will always feel a bit thin beyond that initial layer - it's best suited to short multiplayer sessions, without the sustained appeal of a game like Smash Bros.

Sport mode is a mess and doesn't do justice to the incredible qualities of Dakar Desert Rally. The game is way better on Pro and Sim modes. Following to roadbook to find your path in this absolutely huge Saudi Arabia feels really great.

The first "new" Monkey Ball in over a decade does the job, respects its elders and injects new, coherent, no-frills mechanics. The few extras provide a welcome bonus, but the whole thing is brought down by a technical assessment that is largely flunked by the Gamecube. What a shame!
