Capcom brings us back, once again, to the golden age of arcades with another collection of authentic old-school coin-op games that delivers more than we expected.

If you crave for some good old-school quality management sim Two Point Campus is a time well spent. Great job Two Point Studios. Give us more!

The management simulation of a laundromat that is slowly turning into an arcade center is a great homage to some earlier times that, like a dream, mix and match two different decades and several generations of arcades and even consoles into one trippy mix.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is easily the best game in the series and arguably the best modern JRPG experience on the Nintendo Switch. As a title that requires you to devote over 100 hours to it, it has well-polished core mechanics, an unforgettable story and solid characters that will easily keep you engaged for longer.

As the first expansion for the still relatively new Monster Hunter Rise, Sunbreak doesn't really bring much new beyond a new zone, story and monsters with the expected discarding of things that didn't work in the original game and slight refinement of those that did - without some bolder changes.

Square Enix takes us back to the distant past but also to many other periods with a very detailed remaster of the JRPG cult hit that was not available outside of Japan until now. For hardcore fans only.

Prepare your paws, claws, and meows, and embark through a post-apocalyptic robot world searching for your freedom, oh, and btw don't forget to destroy a couple of rugs, and some furniture and knock everything off the table.

Worldslayer is such an integral part of Outriders that its almost unthinkable to play this game without it. The endgame content that has been overhauled is complex and rich enough to keep most of the players invested for a long time.

The new Fire Emblem Warriors title brings even greater musou integration with this classic JRPG, while also being a great spin-off for Three Houses and a clear evolution of this long-standing genre. However, due to its specificity, it will be interesting only to a very narrow audience.

Transitional game - that is the easiest way to describe the state of the latest F1 game where Codemasters either didn't want to take the risk of adding a more ambitious game modes or they just didn't have time to prepare something like that in a year when the whole sport switched to a totally new form. Despite the lack of central campaign, F1 22 is still a game that can satisfy both newcomers and veterans alike with its still superb driving simulation and attractive presentation style.

Sonic Origins brings great versions of legendary games from the Mega Drive era, Sonic 1, Sonic 2 Sonic 3 & Knuckles and even Sonic CDs are finally playable on the big screens again, with a lot of additional content and quality of life changes that old-school fans will appreciate. A couple of minor issues will eventually be patched but the only thing we can’t forgive is what they did with Sonic 3's music.

TMNT Shredder’s Revenge is a high quality game that shows that a little patience and good will between developers with a pinch of love can work big time! This game is for all ages and for all skill levels and with attention towards the details that can rarely be seen in games today.

The Quarry is like any other summer horror slasher movie that we watched as kids during the 80’s. Its good in the first few hours but then it loses its momentum. Unfortunately a much weaker game than Until Dawn.

Warhammer 40K Chaosgate: Daemonhunters is a good evolutionary path for the genre and for the Warhammer franchise that usually deals with tabletop battles. If you like more isolated combat like in the glorious Firaxis title and you like Warhammer 40K then this is a perfect combination for you because - Emperor Protects!

Although Mario's return to the soccer field does not reinvent the wheel... or should we say soccer ball, there are no auto-goals this time, so we have another fantastic Switch title in the row.

Eastward is a great time capsule that very authentically follows the mechanics and style that were present in the games from the 90's. Maybe even too much because some mechanics have remained in the past for a reason.

Nintendo Switch Sports is trying to take us back to the Wii era of simple fun with motion controls and it does that surprisingly well, the only problem is that the new version lacks content and innovation so it seems like the potential of this return is not fully realised, at least for now.
