If you're a super-fan of the franchise, you might be able to get something out of this package. It's more than clear that this is a rushed product that was supposed to be DLC for last year's game and not a full-priced "new game" - so it's up to you to judge whether it's worth your money.

EA Sports UFC 5 is a substantial improvement to the greatest MMA simulation out there, and while it doesn't include many new features, everything that needed to be tightened and perfected in the previous four games is now finally where it should be.

Football Manager 2024 is faultless in its aim and form, but as was the case with the previous edition, the only real limitation is in the old engine that keeps it from evolving further. Fortunately, next year that will change, but until then this edition brings just a few novelties that only hardcore virtual football managers will truly appreciate.

In a crowded year that gave us so many incredible games, Alan Wake 2 easily manages to distinguish itself as one of the best ones yet. The transmedia ambitions of Remedy Entertainment and a complex script that mixes the fates of two interesting characters have produced a horror adventure title that will be remembered forever.

A refreshed but extremely unpolished new WRC experience that comes with a lot of content but in a package that lacks some essentials, we expected more from Codemasters.

All in all, about 15 hours of first-class one hit kill action awaits you, which will provide a good pastime for fans of this genre. The freedom given to Jack in this game is definitely a huge improvement for which One More Level studio deserves all the words of praise.

The first volume of the new Metal Gear collection brings several legendary titles from the beginning of this once extremely popular series, along with a couple of never-before-released bonus content that definitely has something for old fans. However, KONAMI's laziness to devote more time to polishing these titles makes the compilation seem like only a half-sincere attempt to bring players' attention back to Snake and crew.

WarioWare: Move It! brings the very familiar chaotic fun that we are used to from the games in this series, returning the focus to the somewhat forgotten motion-controls. This approach brings a lot of new creative solutions for controlling the ever-fresh micro-games, but it also overcomplicates things for a lot of new players.

Detective Pikachu brings an intriguing story that will appeal to the fans of detective games, but also a considerably simpler gameplay than its predecessor so that younger players and possibly Pokemon diehards will get the most fun out of it.

Sonic Superstars does a lot of things right, the speed is there, the momentum and physics from the classic 2D games are recreated almost flawlessly, but uneven overall quality and a couple of unclear solutions prevent this title from being much more than another half done nostalgia fest.

The remake of the additional campaign for Resident Evil 4 brings enough novelty to make you return to this fantastic action survival horror and follow the story from a different angle with the legendary Ada Wong. A couple of new locations, bosses and mechanics are reason enough to spend a few more hours in the best Resident Evil remake yet.

NHL 24, like most sports games in recent years, continues to stagnate without any significant improvement. While attempting to introduce minimal changes and simultaneously ignoring what players actually want is the main reason why it fails once again to fulfill its potential.

Lords of the Fallen may not be a game that will reinvent the wheel, but it is definitely a great Soulslike title that any fan of the genre will appreciate. Aside from minor flaws related to poor mapping and other easily fixable blemishes, this game still gets a high rating and our warm recommendation.

With more Hot Wheels cars and tracks, Unleashed 2 is an obvious sequel that does not bring anything particularly new to a game that had so much potential but also numerous problems that haven't been addressed yet.

The biggest wonder is that the new 2D Mario Bros. can still offer something new after so many decades, like a completely fresh experience full of original ideas and gimmicks - for sure Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a real next-generation 2D Mario game and not just another nostalgia act.

Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is a game that is primarily for anime series fans who don't mind many flaws getting in the way of them enjoying another adventure with their favorite characters, while new players will be in quite a pickle trying to balance between a story that won't make any sense to them and some good fight mechanics.

Despite taking three years to develop, RIDE 5 didn't significantly improve upon its predecessor in terms of new features. Even if we had higher expectations, this is still the greatest moto game that isn't directly based on a real championship and a very good place for new moto sim fans to get started.

After a tremendous introduction to the superhero lives of Peter Parker and Miles Morales on PS4, Insomniac Games has crafted an even better adventure that showcases the true power of PS5 hardware. A game that is streamlined, ambitious, emotional, and showcases the true potential of the superhero genre in a gaming medium.
